Hi guys, i am fairly new to this so all/any help would be useful. i have a Optima 55 battery and the problem is that everytime i really test my car on Termlab the battery starts to clip/cutoff. The voltage drops from 14.4V to 11.8V. What can be causing this problem. My car runs on the IASCA format and does a 150.5dB in the Rookie Int. Class. the car clips at 150.5. I am really eager to know what this could be. Looking forward to your help guys. Thanks.

Hi everybody. After almost two years of following/searching the thread I've decided to start posting. I'm in Broken Arrow, OK and have been addicted to all things audio for as long as I can remember. Outside of mobile audio I build tube/valve amplifiers and hornloaded loudspeakers.

I'm pretty new into the SPL world, and audio in general, so I'm not the smartest on the subject, but everyone has to start somewhere right? My first system was a cool concept. The box was built inside of the back seat. Sealed, had like .75 cubic ft of space. Was a Pioneer shallow mount 10". Blew that in a week. Went to a Memphis shallow mount 12", blew 7 of those and Memphis told me they wouldn't warranty them anymore. Then I went to a JL Audio 13tw5. Well I figured I'd go ahead and make an account..have been lurking for awhile now. I have a 98 GMC jimmy with 2 SA-15's and I just ordered 2 more 15's today. So I'll be starting a build log soon. I've already learned a lot from the forum and plan to continue learning as I go.

New to the forum here is a run down of the truck. Clarion- NZ500 matching EQ, 4 sets of 6X9 componets in the front doors, A-pilla pods have 5.25 componet, titanium tweets in the stock location on the dash, power by 2 Aq 90X4... For BASS 6 AQ 10's power ed by AQ 2/3500D. XS power alt 270/360/ Bat 2/D3100 / 1 D 6500 under the hood. My camera is broken can take any pic. Hey all. I have read some things I would like to know more about. Especially what people are doing with enclosure builds. I probably won't have much to add to any conversation, but I wanted to say that I am watching. Hey everyone, I drive a 96 3.0l V6 Camry xle 4 door and I got into the car audio game about 4 months ago when i bought a bunch of stuff off Craigslist for 100 bucks. I bought 2 jl 12w0's, a box tuned to ? freq with about 3 cubes of space, a 4 channel amp that I'm bridging off 2 (I have no idea about wattage or anything about the amp, I can't find on google anywhere), 4 gauge amp kit, 2 coaxial polk speakers, and 2 3-way fosgate 6x9's. Just bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade. I'm gonna take my 528i in to carmax and sell it for some money for a new system. I'm not sure how much I'll have to spend yet but I was hoping I could get some research done before I set an official budget. I listen to mainly classic dubstep and electronic music that has really, really heavy bass (I'm not talking skrilllex or Doctor P midrange bullshit/midrange dubstep.)
