Hey everyone. Recently i jumped back into the market for car audio and came across this lovely little SA-8. After reading countless reviews and testimonials i decided to bite and purchased one. Now that it is here and weighing down my table its time to get a box designed and get it into my Lada! (yes.. i said Lada) Cant wait to hear what it sounds like. My name is Corey and I am from Lansing, Michigan. I have been installing car audio components and designing/building enclosures since I was 14 years old. I will be 32 this year. Needless to say I am hooked! I have always creeped around the forums but never really posted anything. I am in the process of doing my own car now and I figured I would post it up. What's up everyone? Just signed up and looking to get some insight on car audio after being out of the scene for a number of years. I currently have a Toyota FJ Cruiser with a Kenwood DNX8120 HU, Polk Audio SR6500 components, JL Audio co-axials for rear fill, 2-JL 10W3V3's in a Wicked C.A.S. enclosure, Dynamatted fron doors and rear quarters. I am anxiously awaiting the new Zed Leviathan for power.

what's happenin guys? i'm looking into doing an install soon for a couple 10" Fi SSD's. I have a single cab 2005 Tacoma. i'm trying to figure out what to do about a box, i'm limited with space and haven't built a box of my own yet. i'll also be looking for a good amp to power them. and any other info for that matter. any suggestions?

So many moons ago i was a member of TeamSSA with my wife's 2004 Mitshubishi Lancer Ralliart. Things happened and i got out of the car scene. Now I'm back and rocking my 1st gen. XCON in a sealed box of after displacement and bracing 2.8cuft3. on a Audiopipe APCL1800.1, this thing is a beast. I forgot how the XCON behaves and got tingles the first time it did its job in my 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX. I was running it ported on a 3.8cuft3 box tuned at 32 hz in the wife's old car. Besides the loss of incredible lows thats the only thing thats different, it handles completely different. It's way more punchy, has alot more response to it. could be amp choice but i think like ever…

I am from Fort Wayne IN new to the site but not to car audio. I have been into car audio since I was old enough to drive thanks to people like Alma Gates, Scott Owens, Gary Biggs, and Chris Norris over the years I have learned alot from people in car audio and hope to continue learning from more. There is alot of awsome videos from you all and hope they keep up the good work and carry on the car audio industry.As to me I dont now much about SSA but plan to learn alot after I start a new build in my Explorer so with that all said thanks to anyone that is in this forum and hope to get some good response from you guys and from SSA. ive actually been here since 2009, lurking and ive been competing since 07 i mainly run SS3-4 my last build was a atomic sled nicknamed the q it was 4 15's and 10kw, not some of my cleanest work but ive improved since then i was posting 155's right now my daily driver is a 03 civic lx no exterior mods, couple dings and dents (it was my 89 year old grandmas car) it does have a new engine in it, out of an 09 so i get 35-40mpg ( i blew the old one on a spontaneous vegas trip (long story)) it has 2 RE8's in it on a 80w amp, the 8's are in a T line box, i get people asking me how many 15's i have in it im a mechanical engineering/computer sciences guy i double majored in coll…
