Whats going on everyone, Im new to the forum, so figured id say whats up and my name is John, and I drive a 2005 srt-4(let me know if u know how many cubic feet my trunk is )...Ive been out of the car stereo scene for a little while, basically ive been poor and out of work..Finally i got a job again and some money and am currentyl builiding my new system and these forums are very detailed and informative so im looking forward to being a part of them....HAve a good one... Happened to stumble across this board in my search for a set of subs and an amp for my pickup. Got my truck runnin at 700hp but it has no bass! Cant be having that... I plan to build a fiberglass sealed box under the rear seat of my 2003 4 door dodge 2500. It should net me at least 1.75ft3, so most likely looking at .75ft3+ per sub box. Being in my twenties i listen to rock, rap, hip hop, country, classic rock. Im just looking for decently hard hitting bass when i want to crank it up. Not looking for top of the line sound/equipment that will cost an arm and a leg. Looking to spend no more than $300 or so on two 10's, plus an affordable amp that will push the subs to thei…

Just wanted to say Hey everyone, and give a quick rundown of my past. I used to run around in a 1995 Lincoln Town Car with an all Alpine setup. Type R components in doors and rear fill run off the headunit and 2 12" Type Rs with an mrp m-1000.. It was okay, but know it's time to step my game up... So i got a 2011 F-150 regular cab with JL Audio C5-570 components in the doors and C2-570 in the rear, powered off a JL XD 400/4. Just waiting for my 2 15" Lethal Injections to get delivered, I'll probably run them off the m-1000 for now until i save up for round 2

hey all, I'm just joining the forum for some advice and tips on an upcoming stereo install that i'm gonna do when i get home. I'm currently deployed and have picked out some audio equipment and am just looking for confirmation on it being a decent set up. Hope to be able to contribute some as well. Thanks, James

Designing a build, been out of the game a long time. Looking for any/all ideas suggestions ect. Goal is overall loudness, and daily deep big bass. No one burp comps. However want to be earth shaking as possible within area. Sub box going to be behind the rear seat and top of box not higher than back of seat. I plan to pot this build and look forward to all input.

Yep...Santa did it this year: 2 x 18 Fi Bl -Dual 1, Cooling, Flatwind, Daily, Non-universal. Sundown Saz-3000d (thanks acex3a) 180max/135idle Iraggi alternator ~40' of 1/0 welding wire still need to get some 1/0 battery terminals and clamps for 1/0 big three and a new battery under the hood. dunno if I want to tackle the box this time around, might just have a shop do it. planning on doing ~15 cubes after displacement, and tuned to 32 or 33 hz. I know nothing about sound acoustics, and the effects of internal design. so plain jane rectangle is gonna have to jive for now.

Glad to find a place with endless answers from experienced audio fanatics, Hope to gather alot of info for my upcoming build. Got most of the bodywork and interior done now on to the good stuff!

hello everyone, my name is d.j. and I'm from oklahoma. I'm oh jays little brother, he put up a build logon here for me, I have the red dodge caliber with a ssa z-con 18 on a sundown saz 3000.
