Happened to stumble across this board in my search for a set of subs and an amp for my pickup. Got my truck runnin at 700hp but it has no bass! Cant be having that... I plan to build a fiberglass sealed box under the rear seat of my 2003 4 door dodge 2500. It should net me at least 1.75ft3, so most likely looking at .75ft3+ per sub box. I've been looking for a forum for auto equipment for some time. I'm working on a '77 280Z. After I get it back from the body shop I'll be looking into a stereo. Head unit/ 1 sub/ 2 tweeters/2 or 4 mids and maaaaybe 6x9's out back alot of my z friends don't think I will needd a 6x9's in the back. The last time I did an install was in the '90's early, so I need to catch up on alot of stuff.

Hey guys I am new to this site and I need help picking out a new sub. I currently have a alpine type r 15 and looking to get a new sub. I had a kicker zx500.1 on it but I just recently bought a Rockford T1000-1bdcp. I was looking at the Fi SSD 15 or the SSA Icon 15? Which Sub would sound better?hit harder? The sub would go in a 3.75ft box Net, tuned to 35hz.

My ride is nothing special, i own a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero GX (base edition). She has 110,000 miles on her and still running like a champ. Audio-wise, i am running: Head Unit - Kenwood KDC-MP538u Amplifier - Hifonics BXi1610d Subwoofers - Two old' school 15" Petra Prowlers sealed.
