Well, if any of you might recognize my name, it's because I'm not exactly new to car audio or forums lol. I just haven't been on SSA yet. A friend told me to check it out, so why not. Glad to see some new faces and a new forum for a hobby and industry I'm so passionate about. I'm sure I'll answer as many questions as I can, more than I'll ask most likely. hello everyone, my name is d.j. and I'm from oklahoma. I'm oh jays little brother, he put up a build logon here for me, I have the red dodge caliber with a ssa z-con 18 on a sundown saz 3000. This will be my 3rd post in the Newbie section so I may venture out into the general forum population I think the best introduction may be what I am currently working with and were I hope to go. Hi guys. I've been looking through this forum for awhile now, and i finally decided i need to start posting, learning and asking about some things on here.

Just wanted to say Hey everyone, and give a quick rundown of my past. I used to run around in a 1995 Lincoln Town Car with an all Alpine setup. Type R components in doors and rear fill run off the headunit and 2 12" Type Rs with an mrp m-1000.. It was okay, but know it's time to step my game up... So i got a 2011 F-150 regular cab with JL Audio C5-570 components in the doors and C2-570 in the rear, powered off a JL XD 400/4. Just waiting for my 2 15" Lethal Injections to get delivered, I'll probably run them off the m-1000 for now until i save up for round 2

Newly converted to FIcarudio products by xconcepts from caraudio i am wondering what is the min power requirement for the SSD's i will be replacing a pair JL Audio 10w3v2's in a sealed enlosure of 0.65 which are both being powered by a JL Audio 500/1 , and being unfermiliar with the FIcarudio subs , i'm wondering will a pair of 10 "SSD's work properly being connected and boxed the same way ?? The Jl's were rated 300 W each , will the amp be sufficient for these two SSD's to perform properly ? Will also be adding a pair of 10 " 2 ohm BL's each connected individually to it's own Alpine PDX 1000.1 in a ported enclosure tuned at 32 , will add P chamfer , cooling , Flatwin…

Well, I've been researching newer brands and products on the forum for awhile...figured I may as well atleast get in my first post. I'm pretty good w/ the search function so I hadn't had much need to post, but here it is. Been through countless different systems in countless different cars over the past 11 years. You know the drill, 2-3x's as many systems as cars. More of a DIY'er, but now I'm lazy and happen to be old friends w/ a master installer so I choose to save myself some time nowadays. Currently organizing a build for an 03 Expedition that was recently acquired, more to come...stay tuned. (Wish I still had my PG MS2125, bet amp I ever had.)

Well everyone's title was "Hello", so I decided to do things a little different. Anyway I have a car, it has my second system in it. It is an old maxima and came with a Bose system. I thought it sounded great, until it crapped out and since it had 1-ohm speakers, it meant getting a head unit and new speakers too. That was maybe 2 years ago, so now I'm rolling in my ultra-budget system. It's more of an experiment always in progress. Right now I have two Kicker Comp 10's on about 484w RMS in a sealed down fire box thats about .75ft^3 per chamber. I will soon have an SSA Icon powered by an audioque 1200D in a 2.5ft^3 ported box tuned to 33htz. My two channel amp and infinity reference 6.5" components should be here soon to take care of the highs and midbass
