Ive been out of car audio for awhile, probably the last 5 years. My Adire Audio Brahmas surrounding ripped away from the cone last night. The last sub I remember hearing about being compared with the Brahma was the RE XXX so I was interested in finding one of those to try out. Come to find out they arent around the $400 range anymore, but a whopping $1,200!! So I said bump that. But a guy on a different site told me about the founder of RE starting up a new company named Fi Car Audio. So here I am, trying to figure out which of these products may be equal to or better than the Brahma and XXX. Oh and trying to find a place to recone my Brahma as well. Any suggestions on …

Hey all. I have read some things I would like to know more about. Especially what people are doing with enclosure builds. I probably won't have much to add to any conversation, but I wanted to say that I am watching. Hi, Folks. I just registered with forum and I'm searching for help finding a touchscreen remote for a Kenwood Kos v1000 a/v controller. Any touch screen remote monitor would work, but kos l432 would be perfect. Thanks in advance

I am back as I had originally bought a Sundown 100.4 on the very first run for my RSX which I had hooked up to DLS components. I really thought I had made an account here back then. Well I then, sold the RSX. I then put an Audison amp, focal components and focal subs in my next car, a 1995 Porsche 993. That car was stolen over the summer. So now I am back to looking at putting some left over parts that I hadn't sold into my current S2000. Now to look through some builds to see the cool stuff people are currently building.

I’ve been here but inactive for some time now getting back into the stereo scene. Last system was 4 alpine type r 12s 2 rf prime 1200.1d Amps 2 offbrand agm 74ah batteries along with a optima red top in my old srt8 charger. Now I have a second gen Durango and no longer am concerned with weight reduction I’m trying to put a small but good setup in and am leaning towards the Skar rp 1200.1 d due to the fact I was considering the rp1500.1d but it falls short on the dyno where the 1200.1d really shines and does well over rated power. Subs are undecided as of now was thinking power Acoustik gothic 12s massive audio gtx 12s or just going all Skar with either sdr’s Or svr’s.

Hoping to gain some insight into Fi and SSA subs on this forum, as I am upgrading.

Hey guys, Finally got me to register instead of lurking in the shadows. Been into Car Audio since the late 80's and truthfully I joined up to get in on the special order 2 ohm deal as this sub will integrate right into my truck quite nice.

I'm Ryan and I just signed up here and am checkin in. I like old school (90's) car audio and am trying to learn more about what's good with newer equipment. Been out of this hobby for awhile.

This will be my first time trying to do anything other than just straight swapping speaker for speaker. I have a '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport that i would like to stick a woofer in the "cubby hole" similar to this http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/write-up-97186/ . Except that i would like to avoid spray foam and just fiberglass the cavity. Is this feasible? Would it last? Also I would like to 'glass a replacement panel for the car instead of just hack up the original and hide the woofer. This is a Daily beater vehicle until i get around to finishing my classic car... and will probably remain a daily vehicle even after that. I was originally looking at SoundQubed's HD…
