So I just picked up a box and 2x10 Rockford Fosgate subs for my Ram. So the subs are 4 ohm 150watt RMS each with a peak of 300watt. Here's the problem. I listen to rock mainly so I don't care about a TON of bass, but I do like a good amount. The subs are bridged or whatever, and that's where I don't know what amp to get without spending a fortune. The two subs don't have two wires each I guess that's what bridged means? So my question is, what channel, RMS, ohm all that stuff, what would be the best amp for me? I'm so lost and the audio guy near my house is just trying to make money off of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found this site while researching the effects of impedance rise. I am working on building a system and trying to learn at the same time. I am buying a HDC3 15, my box is 4.5 cubes tuned to 38 hertz, kerfed port with 74.25 inches of port. I have a Hifonics 2010D amp 1/0 gage wire (double runs). To be honest I have been a JL Audio Fan, they make the best Amps hands down. But I don't think there subs are a good value at all. So I have been in search of a new subwoofer to replace my 12w6v2's. Made a post and didnt realize i havnt made a post after having my account for awhile lol. Anyways, 21 yr old stationed at fort drum, ny with 2 deployments.
