Just checking in. Been reading through this forum for the past few weeks, decided to join. Definitely don't know a lot, and probably won't ask a lot. Figured I'd join though, definitely worth the time.

Just your basic introduction here, and a question to kick off my time here. My name is Matt, I'm new to this forum but have been a member of several other forums for many years, so I'll try to refrain from making noob-ish mistakes. Ha. Anyway, I currently have an Alpine CDA-9857 in my truck that's going to be replaced by a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD that's currently in the mail. Also I've got some Polk Audio db6501 Components that are powered by a Rockford Fosgate P400.4, and a brand new 12" Fi Audio SSD powered by a Kenwood KAC-9152D. The Kenwood is getting sold tomorrow morning along with my old Kicker CVX. On the list of things to do is plenty of Raamat BXT, and two new amps…

hey whats up fellas, new to the site, and a little frustrated and impatient lol, for a minute i was so positive with the sub i was going to go with for whatever reason it was, but basically it was suppose to be a single aq hdc3 12" and now i dont know if thats the sub i should go with, after searching on various forums and this one, i hear that the aq hdc3's might not be what im looking for, but anyways here is what my status is: 2000 cadillac deville using a sundown audio 1500d amp, $400 budget for sub(s), a blow-through pete kulicki designed box, used as a daily driver, and for the box 3.0 to 4.0 cu ft is what i have to work with due to the fact that i have a daught…

Im a 19 y.o. self proclaimed car audio addict who is always looking for something bigger and better. I currently have 2 12" Kicker CVR's in a sealed box with a Audiobahn A8000t amp. I know this is the ultimate newb set up but it hits pretty hard for me. I am looking to upgrade pretty soon to either a 12" AA Havoc or an FI BL in a ported box with a Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp or something very similar. I also currently have all stock electrical but plan on doing the big 3 and possibly a yellow top. i dont want to buy a larger alternator unless i absolutely have to. I do have just a couple of questions, Who would i contact for pricing and dealer info for AA? and Out of …

So I work with what I have and I'm trying to make it as nice as possible. I'm also kind of a nerd, I love computers and gaming when I have time. I have a build log I will post up shortly. so i've been running my system for a while (since 04 i think) and now my 'new' gear has become 'old' and in need of a reup. im running 2 12" cerwin vega v-max 2ohm dvc's. both on a 2 channel audiobahn (i told you it was old) amp rack series. according to the amp specs, it was running 500 watts rms per channel. i've done the big 3 upgrade and im using 0 guage power wire kit from directed. so far the only thing thats staying is the power wire. im going to use one MTX TA91002 amp for my new set up. i got it cause i couldnt pass up the great price it was going for. btw, im on a $800 budget, and my new amp just used up $200 of it. i need help deciding on what subs to use with…

Hello guys and gals! I hope everyone is having a great day! I'm recently getting back in to car audio after about 8-10 years. I've been doing a lot (I mean a lot!) of reading and from what I'm looking to do, people keep recommending SSA sub-woofers. As a heads up, currently my car is stock, but I have already planned most of my future system out, it will be as follows: Car: 2009 Honda Civic Si (sedan) Musical Taste: Mostly Rock/Metal Occasionally Rap/Hip Hop Occasional Dubstep/Drum and Bass type or electronic music Front Stage Kicker QS65.2 Kicker IX500.4 Head Unit Pioneer DEH-80PRS Other Upgrades Big 3 w/ 0 gauge (ideally 0 gauge) Dynamat or …

Hey guys I've been trying to learn as much as I can before I start buying anything, and this forum is pretty sick! So far, I plan to run a single 15" ported off an audioque 1200D amp. Any thoughts on what subs to get for ~$200? I was looking into the Alpine type-R due to my budget, but now i'm kinda leaning towards SSA or AA subs....
