hey guys just got onto this forum and just bought one Fi btl 12 dual 2... what would be the best amp for this sub. and when it says 2krms does that mean thats as hight as i can go with rms or can i go higher...please explain to me how high can i push this bad boy

So i figured since it has been so long since i have been on here that i should post in the newbie section saying im back. I recently moved out of my dads house and got my own duplex. just got internet today so i should be a frequent poster for a awhile again. just for and update i got a Kinetik 1400 from a buddy for temp use and damn i have never seen so much raw power from and amp. I just figured i would present myself as being back on ssa!

I drive a 96 accord sedan, its basically just a beater until I get out of college in a year and buy something nice. I'm looking to put a new headunit, and a sub in it. Currently it is all stock. So I'm looking for recommendations on a basic headunit (under 200? is that realistic?) that can just play cds and also an ipod. I've been looking at subs and amps also, in particular the FI Q 10 or 12. What amp would you guys recommend with these subs? hey everyone. i've been doing a lot of research lately regarding my next sub, and it seems like every forum i read points to fi. I have only 730 watts to work with, can someone point me in the right direction? I was originally thinking about a bl15, but it seems like I'm severely lacking in the power department... thanks

Hello all. I've been a member of the CA-F for some time. With the new banner at the top I've seen there are other forums out there. So, decided to join a couple, including this one. So far, so good. They layout is very nice.

so i just join this forum a lil while ago and ive been working on car audio for a while so i know a bit but im still learning alot. ive got a pretty decent system with 2 clarion 10" subs (kevlar) and a jbl gto 601.1 and for my speakers ive got a alpine v power amp with high pass filters built in. ive also got a nice new clarion head unit that im abolutly in love with. will post a video later

Trolled for a while, but I'm active on a few other boards. I've been doing 12v work for a while now, but I'm just now starting to pique an interest in car audio. Looking to put in a street system in my SHO. Plans thus far, are a Hypnotic 75x4 powering some Pioneer REV-series decks and doors. HU is a Pioneer DEH-P4700MP, for now. Looking into double DINs. For a sub, probably a Mach5 10", on an undecided amp. Not looking to get too loud, but loud enough for me. I may not build a competition system, but I'm a learner. I'll take whatever knowledge I can get, need it or not.

hello just wanted to join such a good forum for enthusiasts and pros alike. Hi everyone my name is Kevin, I have been into Car audio for around 10 years. Have competed in tons of local comps in my area and have enjoyed every second of it. At this present time i am building my single cab s10 with a bed cut. I will be running 2 Sundown 3500d amps and 4 Sundown audio Z series 10"s........If I can hurry up and get the 2 Nightshade 18''s moved soon.
