just wanted to introduce myself and i am new to this form. i am from oahu, hawaii. my current setup in my truck is an old kenwood ddx8017 head unit, rainbow germaniums running on off an ed nine.2 and a sundown 1500d running a single 12 idmax. i just wanna learn more on this form and looking for ideas to change my setup.

I’ve been here but inactive for some time now getting back into the stereo scene. Last system was 4 alpine type r 12s 2 rf prime 1200.1d Amps 2 offbrand agm 74ah batteries along with a optima red top in my old srt8 charger. Now I have a second gen Durango and no longer am concerned with weight reduction I’m trying to put a small but good setup in and am leaning towards the Skar rp 1200.1 d due to the fact I was considering the rp1500.1d but it falls short on the dyno where the 1200.1d really shines and does well over rated power. Subs are undecided as of now was thinking power Acoustik gothic 12s massive audio gtx 12s or just going all Skar with either sdr’s Or svr’s.

Hey guys, new to to the board. Much like a lot of other noobs around here I'm joining to learn as much as I can about mobile audio. I've always loved car audio, and known most of the good dependable brands, but I've never quite learned how it all works. Hey folks. I'm here to learn more about car audio. I've got a 2006 MINI Cooper S that has a piss poor OEM system and a lot of road noise. I've decided I will do sound deadening and audio system improvement. I have a handle on what I am going to do for the deadening, but the audio part is a maze right now. An item that would help me immediately is recommendations for shops to listen to speakers in the Southern California area. Thanks for your help. Paul

Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram crew cab laramie and am looking to outfit it with a nice SQ oriented sound system. My first truck was an old 97 f150 single cab with a full memphis setup. My second truck was an 07 sport trac with CDT es-62i components and a jl8w3 ported sub. I am not a total newb when it comes to car audio but at the same time there is always room to learn more and that is what I plan on doing as I ask questions about what I should run in this setup. This site looks very promising.

hey im new to the bass world.. just wanted to say hello have a question for you guys.. what subs would be good to run with a soundstream rubicon 2500 at 1 ohm.. i was thinking of running 2 15 inch fi Q,s but the sales people told me the subs would prob blow out becuase of the power of the amp.. I have a dual 2.31 cubic feet box per box. sealed.. i was wondering what other subs are my options bedsides the fi q in sealed box. thanks guys

Hey guys. Been in Tulsa the last 10 years and liked it enough to stay and raise my kids here. Been into car audio for around 20 years or so and absolutely love where it's gone and where it's going! It's really taken off here in Tulsa. About half of the Craigslist ads under electronics are for car audio gear! Lol! Going to to Oklahoma City fairgrounds for the USACi show and hope to see whoever can make it out there.
