Hello, bought a 270xp from you guys on 9/21/10, sales number was 12967. Due to me vehicle (1997 jeep wrangler straight six 4.0l engine) it needed a bypass harness, but you guys shipped it without a resistor for the stock wiring since they were out of stock. I sent Kyle a PM on October 29th and haven't heard any news about the resistor... I'd like to get this in sometime before I forget about it and have to call you a year later asking about it. Thanks, Stefan Hinote

Right now i've got a phoenix gold 500.1d pushing an 18 fi q. Of course we're getting a new amp. We've got our minds set on an audioque 1500. But before that, we need a new alternator so thats where you guys come in. I got my alternator tested and i'm pulling 65-67 amps with bass up, hid highbeams on, ac full blast, and all at 1500rpm. So i just wanted to know which alternator we will be needing to get, and of course i'll do the big 3 after getting one of yall's alts.

Well first I should say i have a 2002 jeep liberty (KJL v6 3.7 liter I was reading an article on its eletrical system and found this charging system of our KJ's is much different to ones in the past. I have been told that in an efforet to protect the PCM and other computer components in the KJ, the charging system draws from the battery FIRST and then calls on the Atl/Gen to re-plenish the battery as needed. That is why the new generation of Deep Cycle batteries work so well. They have the reserve power to allow the extra toys without needing to add the huge alt/gen of the past. As you use your lights, stereo, winches, what ever, they will be drawing from a battery that…

Ordered a 270xp alt almost 5 weeks ago for a 2004 300m. Was told there would be no wait but you were behind 2 weeks so I should get it once you guys were caught up. Two weeks went by and I got a phone call from Kyle saying you did not have parts in stock and were looking at 1 to 2 weeks. It has been two weeks and now on to the third. Have sent multiple emails that have gone unanswered. Robbie did reply via pm that he would look into it but have not heard since. Just wondering what kind of time frame I am looking at right now. Thanks

We've had a ton of inquiries for new models of our XP series alternators recently, and we're just finishing up our most recent production run of housings.. We have the following new models coming out now.. I'll post up pics of the alts as soon as the frames get back from the anodizer and I get production versions built.. XP series alternator for Most Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep This is what we call a 6/12 straddle or "J" mount.. This fits pretty much everything Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep produced from '88-'02 That wasn't a 4.7V8 XP series alternator for Mazda/Mitsubishi/Subaru This is another 6/12 straddle or "J" mount, and is almost a universal Japanese mount alternator, literall…

Okay so I ordered and installed the dual alternator kit on my 2008 tahoe. The install only took about 2 hours which wasn't bad. ***THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED WITH THE KIT ANYWHERE*** I did call the number and got some limited assistance. The person I talked to, Stan helped the best he could but gave me no 100% sure answers... so I'm left with some questions. Please keep in mind this is a 2008 tahoe with 2 prong OEM alt connectors First let me tell you how I installed it; (1) I ran the red wire with a ring terminal on the harness provided from DC to the positive output on the alt (2) I ran the white wire with a ring terminal on the harness provided from DC to a gr…

  13. Robbie mentioned you guys got something worked up for the volvo (2002 v40 1.9L 4cyl Turbo 5A). I'm going to get the timing belt replaced on the car pretty soon, just wanted to see if there was any time frame when the cases would be done, maybe I can stretch it out and get the alt installed at the same time Oh and would the new case / alt use the internals from the 230xp (jeep wrangler 4.0 I6) I got now?

hey whats up guys, ok so im deciding on ordering an alt soon because im going to bump up to 2k watts and wont happen on a stock 70a alt. so my question is mostly for rob or kyle. If i were to order your biggest alt for an 05 civic which is the 180hp does it come with everything i need to install it and get it running? Iv seen some people having to get brackets ordered for their trucks and cars but will this be my case? I have no idea what i will need or wont need so any info on this would really help my decision. If it doesnt come with everything i need to get it running then what will i need? Thanks guys

Currently you guys(DC Power) offer 2 models for the 2003 Toyota Camry 4 cyl. variant... Question 1: Are there any other models that have not been applied to your site? Irragi and Ohio have many different version of similar output ranges and I was curious if maybe you offered more? Question 2: I did the comparison of the 2 different models and I was thrown off by something: So why is the output at idle higher on the lower end model? Seems like that model is working closer to max than the other and potentially "not last as long" or "do more work constantly"? Question 3: (might be on your site already) What is the lead time or processing time, for example if I ordered …

Does anyone know why dc has changed there pricing? Im not complaining or anything just want to know why. I was gonna order the 270xp for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 and have been saving the money. Almost had enough which was 499.99 and go on there tonight and see that they now jumped the price up to 629.99. Sucks cause now its gonna be even longer before i get it just wanted to at least have a reason for the price jump.

Hi DC, a few weeks ago I ordered a 270XP alt through Robbie and then about a week and a half ago I called him back up and found out it had been ship the day prior. Right now I'm just wondering if I can get a tracking number for the shipment just to see where it's at. My name is Chaise Cooper and the order was for a 2007 Scion tC - shipping to Magnolia, DE. Thanks in advanced.

The thread is to commemorate DC Power for standing behind thier product and honoring my warranty. DC Power makes a top notch product, and has good communication with thier customers. My story: I ordered and installed my 250xp alternator in march of this year. The bracket fit perfect and the wiring was a breeze thanks to the correct plug installed on the alt. No wiring adapter which is good in my book, because every extra connection is just one more place for a problems to occur. The belt that was included was the wrong size and one of the bolts was the wrong thread pitch and alittle on the short side. NEITHER wrong part was a big deal as I could get the correct parts loca…
