  1. Okay everyone, At times we have a very hard time keeping up with the amount of volume of calls and e-mails we get. Sometimes, voicemails and e-mails get overlooked. ex: We're going to call you back then another customer calls. It's not intentional at all, we're just simply busy and we try our damn best.. Sometimes we have 50-60 calls come through our call center in a single day and we can only get to 20 people because it seems everyone calls in all at once. Not to mention we only have two people (Stan and I) answering the phones. Everyone else is in the back either programming the CNC machines, building alternators, or making harnesses. I would also like to mention that …

  3. Some companies claim that their alternators are vastly superior to the competition claiming that adding an external rectifier and or regulator and adding diodes fixes everything. Well, there’s no doubt that taking the rectifier out of the alternator will help to some degree, it’s not a cure all fix. What about the windings? Are they up to being pushed to 200-300% of their rated output? Not likely. Are the stock internal cooling fans able to pull enough air to efficiently cool the alternator, again, not likely. What about the aftermarket voltage regulator? Again, not likely. The sad truth is that adding external anything to an alternator is generally a bandaid to fix a pro…

Let me start by saying this is not a bashing thread against DC Power Engineering. I actually hope this works out in DC's favor but after a reading few threads on the forum this got me thinking. I started this thread because you always hear of the occasional bad experience with a customer and then you have those people that say nobody ever writes if they have a good experience with a customer or there customer service. There seems to be mixed reviews on DC Power Engineering, so why not let the public speak for its self. So overall how would you rate your experience with DC Power? What would you tell a friend that asked your opinion before making a purchase?

Figured I would start my own thread after reading through DC Powers forum. Can DC Power update me on my alt status for my 2006 Mazda 3 2.0L 220a alt? Original order was placed a month ago. I was told there was a 2 week delay then 2 weeks later I was informed that the parts were in and should be built and shipped that day or next business day, (great news). Follow up a week and a half later and i get a update that they need to follow up with the production manager again then no update for a week. Before anyone jumps on me by saying its only been a month , I really don’t care. I can understand you have a business but my whole thing is customer service. I would like to kn…

read a previous post and am hoping that belt slip IS the issue but.... battery light will come on and blink temporarily, lost power steering (not directly related to the serpentine belt due to the fact that it's electronic), and service airbag light came on.... voltage for my car, a chevy cobalt normally rests around 13.5 and kicks up to 14.1, after the alternator install, while the car is idling with no accessories on other than headlights the battery voltage constantly jumps from 13.5 to 14.6 like it's cycling for no reason.... I upgraded the electrical accordingly (the big 3 and a kinetik 1800, a second of which has yet to be installed, etc.).... I don't know if it's r…
