I ended up getting 07mercs alt. Instead of getting a used one, I was wondering how much you would charge me for one. I posted this elsewhere and was told by many that Mechman is the place that I would find the best answer. I typically would not ask another company for advice concernering some company's product but since I can't get an an answer from them... why not... Was wondering if anyone at Mechman could reply to this , looking to sent my alt in for a self exciting upgrade Was posting my ideas and was given this response. "Just reinstall the stock one and use your mechman you have now as the second alt. Call them up and see if they'll R&R it and install a self-exciting regulator. Up until I sold my Crown Victoria I personally ran one of these units in my daily driver, total reliability and incredible performance all the time.
