I recently ordered an amplifier from someone on this site and I asked them for a BNIB amp instead of the amp that had been used (allegedly used for 10 minutes). I get my box, and the original packing tape was cut and retaped, so I thought no big deal. Continue to open it and I see all the tape was cut on all the boxes it was on and the inside most box had 'Tested 4-6-11' written on it. Granted its in new condition, there are no cosmetic flaws and I got all the extras that come with it but I paid extra for BNIB not tested. So my question is is this considered BNIB condition? If not, then should I pay the same price for the one said person was selling used instead of paying…

I sure would not be surprised if my local news isn't blowing this out of proportion but in case no one on the East coast has heard.... apparently between NOW- Thursday morning.. we will be hit by "rare supercell storms" with "systematic tornadoes widespread"... I got a toolbox for 2 cents thanks to a listing error on sears.com. I've been using it to pile amps and crap on top of to test so I figured I would get creative with it. Did some cutting and came out with this. Its all wired up and works awesome. Just gotta clean up the wiring.

Jacob and I decided we would hit up the Car show in SA this morning and all I can say it was worth it. Totally unplanned but everything fell into place. Started off heading straight to the Usaci booth. Did a couple runs in Jakes tahoe (2 12" Fi bls on a Sundown 3k) and got a 146.8db with the mic on the kickpanel. As some of you know, I am currently store manager of a car audio shop in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Innovative Audio, home of "The McNasty" Rockford demo truck. I have been here for 3 years. At some point next week, I will board a plane to fly me half way around the world to Saudi Arabia. Where I will be a Field Service Engineer for Con-Fab Services. Working on the Telecommunications system in vehicles for the SANG (Saudi Air National Guard). I will be gone 2-3 months at a time, then off for 4-6 weeks at a time. I know what I'm selling and at the price it is not a HOT item but HOLY HELL the classifieds section is like a disease to me and I try to avoid it. This is a thread to vent about the little things in life that make you scratch your head or drive you crazy. For example.....why do Pizza Rolls only provide directions for making 6 pizza rolls in the microwave, but sell them in quantities that are not evenly divisible by 6 so that you always end up with some left over? We have a box that says quantity 15, then directions for cooking 6 at at time.....no one got the bright idea to just put another 3 in the box?

Well either tonight or tomorrow morning I am leaving for 2 months to go on a road trip across the US. Its all going to start at Bonnaroo in Tennesse this weekend. Other stops include, in order pretty much: Key West New Orleans- where I am going to stay for approx 5 days New Mexico- to the White Sands national monument Arizona- to the Grand Canyon where ill hike for a few days Vegas- Got a Suite at the Belliagio(sp?) for a night Montana- Glacier National Park Colorado- Vail to stay with my old man for a week Ohio- Ceader Point to rock out on some dope coasters, Then Rock N roll hall of fame Back to NY Im sure ill be adding stops along the way.
