Wildfires have destroyed 25,000 acres and at least 500 homes in Bastrop, just southeast of Austin, as well as 1,600 acres and at least 24 homes in Montgomery County, northeast of Houston. Many thousands have been evacuated and thousands more may have to in the coming week(s) while rescue workers try to at least contain the fires. I got these iWave huge over ear headphones for like 5 bucks because they looked super cool and i think i can rebuild them, and as expected they sound like ass and are super quiet; the earcups are big enough to replace the speakers, but what should i look for in a 2"-2.5" speaker that will be playing right up on my dome? It's just something to do, but if it can sound good as well, that would be sweet. I am grabbing a class T 30w amp to power it, no sense in trying to get a ton of sound straight from the ipod itself. Worth it?

So my wife started working at best buy a few weeks ago and i go in today and start talking with the guy in the car audio section and apparently "the loudest sub in the world is a kicker solo x because it has the highest sensitivity of any sub, 92db." and the worlds loudest vehicle is in houston tx pushing an astounding 320 db with 3 kicker solo x's. going on to say that reaching 200db is fairly easy and that his vehicle with 2 kicker L7s is at almost 100db. i couldnt tell whether i was crying or laughing on the inside. I sold my 15" Xcon to a friend, in november IIRC. They stole it soon after in front of his house. He did not have any car alarm or dog ! Last week we found it for sale on a local website. But one of his "friend" bought it from the thief and told him so !! My friend did not want to be too hard, so he made a deal : they sell the sub and amp and they do 50/50 on the money. Instead of calling the Police or taking sub and amp for free in his hands ! (The actual owner has bought a Soundstream XXX 15" since, so he doesn't need the Xcon.) As some of you know, about 3-4 months ago my 03 Nissan maxima was stolen.. But the popo found it, today! I got a call from the sheriffs office saying they found my lost vehicle. I went to see and yes it was mine but it was totally different. It wasn't black anymore it was gray and no blacked out lights it was the stock yellow red white looking taillights, stock exhaust And there wasn't rims on it. But they knew it was mine because it was driving around with the kicker and K&n sticker I had on it previously. And same headunit You'd think they'd take it off lol. Got back from city college last night and I got to grab some booms from my passenger side and my key won't go in. Looking closer its all torqued up in there and there circular etching around my key hole. Nothing is missing so I guess he was unsuccessful. I can't upload a pic with my phone at work but what was he trying to do? He was unsuccessful but what steps should I take for preventing anything. I don't have an alarm currently nor do I have anything to project in yet ha but it was the first day of this semester. Already happening geeze

I want to thanks the SSA forum and all the members for helping me improve my English (and my car audio knowledge too) !!! It's way better and more effective than English classes ! I had several tests yesterday for a new job, and the english one was very hard. I got the results and I did a very very good score ! They all were scaring me with that test : it's very hard, you won't have enough time,...etc. So I rushed and made some mistakes, I could have reach a better score though. I don't know if I get the job, but I know what the ssa forum did (and does) for me !!! BIG THANKS TO SSA !
