Ive lived 28 years here in the Cali valley and have never, ever seen snow on the valley floor. I live in 0 elevation and awoke to snow on my lawn. Now it wasnt that much but the fact that Ive never seen it here before is blowing my mind. I love it!!!!! Glad I didnt put money on it last night. snow in my hood

Got me noticed today, LOL! Was filling the work truck and some kid pulled up at poundin' away in his explorer. One of his buddies noticed the XCON on the back of my shirt and asked me what the hell it was (he said it looked badass, I told him it is). So then an hour long conversation broke out and we talked audio, car shows, car clubs and I looked at the dudes modest little setup. Even recommended he toss in a BIG 3 with his HO alt he had just ordered from Ohio Generator. All in all an interesting happenstance, kewl couple of dudes and I'm sure they'l be checking out the forum as well since I told them all about it!! GO SSA!!! I gotta order more shirts!

Well, unfortunately chop isn't able to get online at the moment and he has requested that I post something here. This is so that the people that he had been speaking to recently are aware of the situation and that he will get back to them as soon as he can. He is currently at the hospital with his wife and working toward getting her better. As of right now things are starting to look up for her. She had recently fell ill and eventually had to go to the emergency room at which point they gave her some antibiotics and sent her on her way. Ok I, like others on here, have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars on my car audio set up. I have car insurance through Progressive. I was wondering if it is possible to insure my full system and rims on my car insurance? I am pretty sure that if I do it will skyrocket my payment. Any advice?

Well, i just got power back after 2 days of no power from the winds of Ike. One of my pc's PSUs is fried. Another one of my pcs is having random so called software crashed. A 5.1 amp in my room is completely fried. My KVM switch is damaged. My 51" TV is completely fried. One of my surge protectors is fried. Everything that got damaged was on protectors?!?! This just goes to show you that protectors are somewhat worthless. My ps2 was wired directly into the all and it's fine... go figure. So far, repair costs are about $800-1300.

So I buy all this stuff and bam, got laid off. Oh well, free time to BUILD !!!! As bad as it feels to have your job eliminated after being at the same place for 12 years, maybe its time for a change. I got a decent severance package (I'm paid until 9/30/09) WOO HOO. I'm going to fix some things around the house and try to get my chit installed/built into the car. As long as I get a job within the next month, I'll be real happy, because then I'll pretty much have a $32k check to deposit in the bank of extra cash, that would be sweet (wife says new kitchen). Okay, so as the title says I need to pass a drug test for work... so i can buy more audio equipment I have to drop on June 1st, the last time I smoked bud was at a party on May 22nd. I only smoke on the weekends, and its a lot. I'm around 6ft 130-140pounds I need some tips/tricks/products/etc to help me pass! I am unaware of the test that will be givin. Thank you!

Well I would like to say thanks for everybody that helped me out. Anyway I am trying to get a list of good songs to play on my system. The front end can actually keep up with the woofer for the most part. Here is a list of songs that seems to hit the "sweet" spot on my system. Its a 3.5 cuFt box tuned to about 31.5hz (I am actually think now I tuned too low. Maybe this summer I will fix it). Any suggestions of songs to try would be awesome! Well, new to me. Pretty excited. 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE, 4door, 42000miles, Maroon Red... $3500. It'll be my commuter car, since it'll get great gas mileage. Just bought a sixer and there is only one left! Longboard Island Lager is the bomb! I've had it straight from the bottle and wasn't sold. BUT poured into a beer glass ... WOW! What a difference. This beer is tasty! Spicy hops, malty goodness. Yumm!
