Got me noticed today, LOL! Was filling the work truck and some kid pulled up at poundin' away in his explorer. One of his buddies noticed the XCON on the back of my shirt and asked me what the hell it was (he said it looked badass, I told him it is). So then an hour long conversation broke out and we talked audio, car shows, car clubs and I looked at the dudes modest little setup. Even recommended he toss in a BIG 3 with his HO alt he had just ordered from Ohio Generator. All in all an interesting happenstance, kewl couple of dudes and I'm sure they'l be checking out the forum as well since I told them all about it!! GO SSA!!! I gotta order more shirts!

THE MOST FUNCTIONAL ENGLISH WORD Well, it's chit ... that's right, chit! chit may just be the most functional word in the English language. You can smoke chit, buy chit, sell chit, lose chit, find chit, forget chit, and tell others to eat chit. Some people know their chit, while others can't tell the difference between chit and shineola. There are lucky chits, dumb chits, and crazy chits. There is bull chit, horse chit, and chicken chit. You can throw chit, sling chit, catch chit, shoot the chit, or duck when the chit hits the fan. You can give a chit or serve chit on a shingle. You can find yourself in deep chit or be happier than a pig in chit. Some days are…

So I buy all this stuff and bam, got laid off. Oh well, free time to BUILD !!!! As bad as it feels to have your job eliminated after being at the same place for 12 years, maybe its time for a change. I got a decent severance package (I'm paid until 9/30/09) WOO HOO. I'm going to fix some things around the house and try to get my chit installed/built into the car. As long as I get a job within the next month, I'll be real happy, because then I'll pretty much have a $32k check to deposit in the bank of extra cash, that would be sweet (wife says new kitchen). Anyway, hopefully I'll have some build pics up soon. The network engineer formally known as Bob.

Hey guys, I'm just trying to see if anyone has any experience in these fields. I'm fixing to graduate in a few months, and I don't think I'll be going to community college, but if I do, I'll be focusing toward Electrical Engineering. I've loved working on cars for as long as I can remember, but my family disagree's with my choice, due to hard labor and that they only make so-so amounts of money. After researching for a while, average first couple years a technicion makes around 35,000$, Electrical Engineering average starts off around 55,000$. Thats close to a 20,000$ gain. Do you think it is worth it to, go to a technical school? ex; Wyotech, UTI, SAM Houston? I'm planni…

So I've been wanting to get a dog for a few weeks now and trying to really decide on what kind to get. I really really really wanted a malamute, it was seriously my first pick but after much discussion with friends online and my family it was said that the weather here in arkansas would make that dog a bad pick. So I have narrowed it down to either a golden retriever(I've had 2 in my life growing up, awesome dog) or a beagle. I've never owned a beagle but I had a friend who used to have one and it was a very very loving dog. It's really a tough call and I'm just wondering what you guys think. Thx for all replies!!!

Sooo my girlfriend signed us up for this Cutest Couple's Contest that is put on by our local newspaper, The Ledger.Bless her heart she's very competitive, but I don't think she realized what all it entails to win one of these things on your own haha. So anyways if I could get some help or participation I would greatly appreciate it.You just have to go register and make a username and password and then confirm it in your email.Take's 2 minutes start to finish, tops.I'm not asking you to cheat. If enough people participate that won't be necessary anyways.I want a fair win So here are the rules as stated in the email she recieved: Thanks for participating in The Ledger’s Cu…

My mom has an '02 Ford Taurus that I installed a Metra dash panel radio conversion kit in so I could install the stereo deck she wanted. Because of the configuration of the dash panels you can't install your own radio unless you install something like this conversion kit first. The kit provided a new front panel but asked you to remove the panel retaining clips from the old panel and use it on the new installation. Those are the internal retaining clips you de-lock when you insert the U shaped removal tools. The old clips got misshapen and one broke. So now I can't get the panel to stay in and am looking to replace the clip. Anyone know where to get a clip that look…
