So for the second time this year, 2009 sh*ts on me. Today was a doozie. I head into work, and about 11 o'clock 7 people are called into the conference room and are told they are being "furloughed" (a lay-off with a possibility of return). I am one of those people. Our company is doing so bad right now that it's probably going to go under before I get a chance to return... the past few months we haven't even been getting paid on time. So, yeah I'm a little aggravated, not looking forward to these meager unemployment paychecks. I leave after that and head to the gym to let off some steam, had a great workout... come outside to start the car and *crank crank* nothing. I as…

Popping in and saying howdy y'all Long story short: I was involved in a car accident around 7PM CST Thursday February 19th. Not my fault, nor is there any dispute on who was at fault by anyone involved or by workers at the scene (EMS, Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Highway Patrol, Memorial Hermann Life Flight, et al). I had my seat belt on. Silver did not make it Due largely to legal reasons, what little juicy details I can give are: I had a clean fracture of both the tibia and fibula on the right leg. The toenail on my right big toe is now gone. Moderate amount of bruising all over my right foot and ankle, bruised the bottom of the left foot and another bruise on my …

Hey all, this topic has nothing to do with car audio, but my uncle needs your help! Although he didn't ask me to post this here, I don't have many email contacts, and this is a big competition. He is the owner of Diapers.com, and is in the running for 2 nominations which we need your help voting on. One is Best Buzz, the other "Most Likely to be worth $1billion" Click the link below to vote, it's very simple and much appreciated. http://www.businessinsider.com/vote-for-th...-of-2009-2009-5 Thanks everyone, Kevin (Who knows, maybe some of you dad's have ordered from his site lol)

Okay, so I'm going to be getting a couple of visor screens and rear screens for the car, and I am trying to decide on which gaming console to install... I first thought that something like the Wii would be fun, but I can see a window getting cracked or something already. So now I'm debating either between a good old PS2 (can be had on eBay for about $20-$50) which would be the cheaper solution... plus the controllers are smaller and easier to store; or an Xbox 360 (Anywhere from $150 up with controllers) which would be a slightly more expensive route but it is a newer system after all... I have a PS3 in the house but installing it in the car is out of the question lol. I…

So I definitely was walking through the mall in Montgomery, Al yesterday and I spotted a guy wearing a white Fi Audio shirt..... It was quite a surprise after going to most of the local car audio shops and having them tell me Fi was some cheap brand that they didn't know about. So that at least makes 2 people that are aware of Fi in Montgomery Are there any others around the Montgomery area?

aight guys. Its time to plan a camping trip. I want to know some of the cool things you've, built, done, saw someone do for a camping trip. We have a couple lady friends who it will be there first time to really camp so I want to make it as great as possible. If it has something to do with camping and you think its worth it then mention it. We will stay for 3 nights and the goal is to eat like kings. First night will be deer burgers for simplicity and then Ribeye steaks the next night, but we need one more night of food. Anyways.. lets get creative....

For those of you that don't know, it was the birth place of a lot of the minds you see here, or at least a place where they played. Well, the server is back up and stable. There is still a plethora of information on that site. Stop by and visit. I won't put a link, but if you know, you know.

I just got back from seein in several minutes ago. The movie was leading up to be what it looked like slow throughout but in the last 30-45 minutes, it started to really pick up and fit into the story a lot better. For those that do not know, there will be 2 additional Terminator movies as long as they meet their profit quota for this release as the contract states, signed by John Connor, aka Christian Bale. The movie was decent, probably even better if you watch it again. I still do not believe that it will be the "best movie of 2009" just because of how much money they spent... but still a movie to see.

I have an idea that you guys should make a SSA.Com book, that has most of the pinned topics like setting gains etc, Iron Law's all that advanced discussion type of stuff, Theile Parameters, Enclosure Design, Different Formula's, Make it come with a SSA Test Tone CD, and maybe a limited edition SSA MultiMeter. But anyway with the Profit of buying this say for like $20 for a book or maybe like $10 for the PDF goes to organising a SSA SPL and SQ lane/carshow type of thing once or twice a year. You could also make it into a downloadable (for a fee) PDF. I mean all the information is already here. But everyone know's when you're on the toilet you want something to read right …

So Edward and I drove down from Austin to visit our boy Bigjon, and it was chill....sat outside on a cloud less Sunday afternoon in the Lone star state and then had a Pass with the meter. Got to take a few pics before the cops came, Bigjon must have a police sense cause he was pullin out when the cops were pullin in. Other than that, I say that we should do this at least once every 2-3 months if not more often. Here are a few pics untill I get home tonight, and look at the following posts cause Edward will post some a few post below this one. Sorry but just look at em through my photobucket account, its quicker. http://s670.photobucket.com/albums/vv62/RS...86f6b5fb688.…

CAUTION: LONG POST All in all, it hadn't been a good day. Bad traffic, a malfunctioning computer, incompetent coworkers and a sore back all made me a seething cauldron of rage. But more importantly for this story, it had been over forty-eight hours since I'd last taken a dump. I'd tried to jumpstart the process, beginning my day with a bowl of colon cleansing fiber cereal, following it with six cups of coffee at work, and adding a bean-laden lunch at Taco Bell. As I was returning home from work, my insides let me know with subtle rumbles and the emission of the occasional tiny fart that Big Things would be happening soon. Alas, I had to stop at the mall to pick up an orde…

THE MOST FUNCTIONAL ENGLISH WORD Well, it's chit ... that's right, chit! chit may just be the most functional word in the English language. You can smoke chit, buy chit, sell chit, lose chit, find chit, forget chit, and tell others to eat chit. Some people know their chit, while others can't tell the difference between chit and shineola. There are lucky chits, dumb chits, and crazy chits. There is bull chit, horse chit, and chicken chit. You can throw chit, sling chit, catch chit, shoot the chit, or duck when the chit hits the fan. You can give a chit or serve chit on a shingle. You can find yourself in deep chit or be happier than a pig in chit. Some days are…
