So I've been spending my summers in the upper peninsula of Michigan all my life. It's a great place, but needless to say, the mosquitoes here get pretty freaking ridiculous with our swamp out back. I've heard some pretty crazy remedies for trying to stop the itch (everything from mint leaves, to lemon juice, to dog saliva). I was wondering if anyone out there has any homemade remedies. Cause I definitely got the itch

so im selling all the stereo crap to buy a new car of my own. Right now I have a volvo 740, which we are still keeping, it just wont be my daily driver anymore. While I was at work today, someone somehow managed to get into my car and grab my two week old Glock 26 9mm and my wallet. What a day. Any suggestions on what I can do to recover this thing? I've already filed a police report and I will be checking local pawn shops as well as setting up cameras around our cars (mine wasn't the only one that someone got into). This sucks... That thing wasn't cheap and a gun is not something to be on the streets...

So for the second time this year, 2009 sh*ts on me. Today was a doozie. I head into work, and about 11 o'clock 7 people are called into the conference room and are told they are being "furloughed" (a lay-off with a possibility of return). I am one of those people. A friend of the family got me started contracting for a construction company, he saw I had some experience in aviation and decided to give me a shot. I had both windows down and both doors open. I was working in the back of the PT, doing some wiring at my batteries. I was double checking my connections, when I heard a loud thud then some glass falling. I got up and shook the door, only to hear glass rattling inside. Tried to roll it up, made it 4" up and sure enough it was destroyed. I was 100% alone, and have no clue as to why it happened.
