well right now on my profile ap1040 amp, i currently run on two channels (one eminence 6.5" and one boss tweeter combination) all ran on the hpf at 1.2k hz cuz thats the highest frequency range on that amp but my tweeters have bass blockers on them. so should i switch that up have on ch. 1 both tweeters and ch. 2 both eminence's, appreciate the help

small update. i just picked myself up a pair of bucket seats so now i don't have to worry about my bulky bench seat and a the lack of mouting depth that was haunting me! soo stoked... with that said since changed my mind on my sub, sorta. lol. i might actually be getting into a better series. possibly the Q and very possibly the BL. theres not a huge difference in price between them all. and the mounting deph is something i can easily accomadate now. i'm looking for an amp for 500 or less, way less is possible. i am on somewhat of a budget, enough that i'm going to need to save up for it after i buy the sub b/c i'm also saving for a trip to alaska this summer.

I've heard that RD Audio amps work better straped. Again, Just what I heard. Don't know for sure. I run my sub amp a 8 ohm mono.

I'm still considering it, but have some reservations about AP from a few threads I've read on the net

Thanks for that info man! So it I have 2 amps a RF 200.2 and a 225.2 ( The old punches, the first makes about 400 watts and the latter about 450). Do you think it would be ok to hook them up each at a voice coil of a dual voice coil sub?

Not just hate, but I havent seen one person that can show actual proof by testing one and then showing the results that they suck. I have read twenty threads now saying there garbage but not one person who said it actually owned one or at least proved it. Looking at the guts from the SAZ amps and the 2608d looks the same to me! grant it I dont have a SAZ amp in my hands to check the actual components to see if there high quality or the same. Ofc every person who has a SAZ is going to say there high quality components but do they have actual proof where the parts come from? so basically i set the sub sonic to 33 Hz since that is what im planning on tuning the box to. and it will make it so the sub doesn't hit frequencies that will hurt it. right?

Oh boy, where to begin. 1/2" enclosures are not the best. Having two different sized enclosures is pretty ghetto and not ideal for sound reproduction at all. How do you have the subs wired to the amp? Since those subs are 4 ohm SVC, however you have it wired to that 2 channel amp is not ideal. Does this setup sound good at all? You need a fuse about a foot from the battery under the hood if you don't have one already.
