Test 1, 2, 3...

Brilliant idea! I just hooked up my camcorder with RCA out, and it worked like a charm. I even hooked up the sub box and was able to feel the Sub moving. I was just BARELY moving though, probably because the camcorder wasn't putting out much low end (I guess) So, it doesn't appear to be the AMP as I thought. All signs are now pointing at the Sub-Thump wiring harness. I'll check there now. Thanks for the help. Update: I hooked up some computer speakers to the RCA cables out from the Sub-Thump harness. I am trying to determine whether or not to get the "Heat Ring" option for my FI Q 12". It says it is supposed to help lower inductance and help overall transient response, but not sure if I should get it or not. Anyone have more knowledge on this than me or previous experiences? Thanks

With that being said, how many studios have you seen in a car and with a car's unique acoustical limitations and changes. I realize it's unrealistic to have it sound exactly like being in a studio would. That was more or less a figure of speech, meaning I want to achieve the best SQ as I humanly can and have it sound as close as possible, to what the artist Intended it to sound; with having to mortgage my house. Maybe my kids college fund would be ok but not a the house. Now that I think about it the cost of college is the is about same as or more than the average Americans house. I'm sure that you get my point, though!!!!.

Nope, efficiency would remain the same aswell. Sensitivity is based on the relationships between motor force, cone area and moving mass.
