thought i would finally upload some pics... so here it is the first dual alt cobalt. The alt is currently out of the car thou because i decided to get a chrome pulley instead of the gold pulley... im also waiting on getting a gm stage 2 performance package to get a smaller supercharger pulley to get the belt to fit.

so i looked EVERYWHERE online and could not find this brand, i got and amp for 10 bucks from a friend and its a jbc(just be cool) amp and i cant find anything on it has anyone ever heard of jbc

Hey guys, I would love to get into competing one day, and I have a question for you audio ethusiats. I have a few old "spare" vehicles around my house.... 2 trucks,and a van. One is single cab other is extended. Not my question is, which would you chose to work on. The van, or one of the trucks with a blowthrough. I would be interesed in which you think would have the most potential.. Thankx Probably SQ class... Maybe some SPL Comp... I dunno yet. Some of this was leftover in a subwoofer enclosure that came as part of my interior swap. 4 pairs of wire probably about 18 gauge braided, no outer jacket. i was wondering if it is something they did by hand at the shop or if i can buy a roll?

Soooo, some stupid drugged up moron stole a truck on the other side of my neighborhood....while running from the cops he plowed right through my truck and totalled it completely....right after just getting it ready to put a system in a blowthrough. what epoxy, glue, resin, etc. do you guys use to set plexiglass and mdf together?

Hey guys i just got my 2 channel am back from my friend who was borrowing it and now i plan on doing my front stage. Its an RF p5002 so 125x2@4 and 250x2@2. Id like to get a good set of components for the front doors, im able to fit 6x8 and 6 1/2s only problem is im on a budget of around 175 max. I guess the real question is what do you guys recommend.

I've got a leftover system that was in my truck, that I'm going to be putting into my car. I'm not sure what the general opinion on my equipment is, though....I've got a Phoenix Gold Octane R DVC 12" sub, in a ported box right now (tuned to 37hz), and a Audio Systems Twister F4>380 4-channel amp. (http://www.audiosystem-america.com/f4380.html) What are your guys' opinion on this? I'm not sure of the RMS of the sub, so would it be safe to bridge 2 channels for each coil, or should I just run it as a 4-channel amp? If I do that, then I can also use it to power a set of door speakers.

I have my kenwood excelon 4 chan mounted in front of my sub and port... I think the vibration is the reason I had to get the digital processor replaced on the amp and kept giving strange errors on the display. we tried larger head screws and my next option is rubber washers to stop the amp from vibrating so much. or would it be smart just to forget about the amp and jump on the pre order for the sundown 100.4. has anybody ever heard of that problem before?

SPL or Daily - we all know there's a difference, what will you be using your system for? - But what EXACTLY does this adhere to? About a year ago I bought my first subs which were just cheap Duals from Best Buy. I am still using them today, but in a box I built for them. The box was actually made for two 10" FI Q's and I just put the 2 12" Duals in them temporarily, but I never got around to upgrading so the Duals stayed. I have an ea alternator with an external voltage regulator. 12v under the hood and 16v 8400 in the rear. When i turn the vehicle on and adjust the regulator charge at 14.4 volts under the hood, the rear is charging at 21+volts. so, ill adjust the rear batt to charge at 18-19v and the 12v batt under the hood is charging at 12.4. Why? Could this be because the batcap 8400 hasnt been charged in several month and the 12v battery under the hood is at proper charge btw i do have a system setup to run a 12v and 16v....like a step down does this makes sense? lol

I am building my first system my car. I have done lots of research and have come up with this. Its a 2003 dodge neon. My budget is about $1000 (+-$100) I listen mainly listen to hip-hop, rap, techno (trance). Then some classic rock, some metal, and some alternative I am looking for great SQ let me repeat that SQ is the top priority in this build, but I still would like to be able to turn up the bass to loud levels and impress people I want something that will give adjustability especially the bass. Hey guys i currently have a Memphis m3 15 and a pr500 amp in a 4.3cuft box ported @ 34hz. Im either going to pick up a sundown sae-1200d or a saz-1500d amp next and im wonering what sub would be a good match in the 12-1500w range. Im mainly looking for eye blurring ear hurting bass and the m3 just aint cutting it. also im looking to spend around 350 for the sub.
