Simple noob question... I built a box for 2 10in DCON's but since they haven't come yet (day 8) can I throw my 2 old 10in alpine type-s subs in for now? will the spacing/distance for the screws be the same?

ok, so i live in Atlanta and there are barely any events in my state. I don't know what happened!! I had sound one day and then the next day,I didn't. I have tried playing the radio and a CD and neither works. I have the stock amp and the stock radio and I had my local BMW dealer put a 6 CD changer in the trunk. I have posted this question on another website and nobody there helped!! Ok, first of all, whats the most impressive system that you've seen, in terms of small. Like didnt thumper's 10"s do like 141 db? Along the likes of small subs getting loud, or really loud single sub systems... And the other thing, my friend is asking me about the "G's" of some subs... What the hell? He could be dumb enough to be talking about gravity... well, i come back to him saying "Gs?" and he says "Exactly u don't kno nothing about speakers... Hey all So I'm going to be installing an 18" Nightshade in my trunk, and I have been trying to come up with a workable solution for a box design. Been sifting through threads but haven't really seen too many builds with a sub back/port front design or vice-versa. Can I hook up the remote wire on my amp straight to the power wire on my amp?

i was wanting to get a custom decal made.my question is most decals are 1 color....like all black or all white.....i was wanting to get a nendo army sticker.....u know the one if u seen it.....the one with the bars or arrows regarding to military rank and it says nendo on top then bars then army on bottom. but i wanted to get this decal in camo colors and not regular camo colors.....i wanted the crescendo colors .....is this possible? and if so does anybody on here know anybody who can do it?

Sarasota, Florida is now the most costly place in Florida to have a loud car stereo system. with a new law that gives police the authority to impound cars if they can hear the tunes from 25 feet away there will be no first time offender warning in my freaking city no, first-time offenders face a $74 fine for violating the city's noise ordinance, and a $125 towing fee to get their vehicles out of the impound yard. if i have a sub box that has a rating of 40hz will the subwoofer still sound good and play low notes if the subwoofer is rated at 33hz or will i have to have the same rated hz on the box as well as the sub to make it sound correctly Thanks for any responses,

So first off, I'm running a '99 Pontiac Grand Am. As we all know, the space in a Grand Am is EXTREMELY limited when it comes to car audio installs.. SO I had a few questions for my future install. I'm really looking into an 18" Fi BTL for the car, but there is not enough room in the trunk to build a box big enough to appropriately house this large of a subwoofer. So my questions are: 1) If I were to take out my back seats and just build a wall to put the sub in, would this be a better idea? 2) If so, what would I do about porting the "wall" to a specific frequency? (30-35 hertz) 3) If a wall isn't the best route to take in this situation, are there any other ways to s…

NO BS either. Rockford Power 501bd, and Power 451s. Both in immaculate condition. Come with a bridge to connect the two together.

I should have no problems with BASS. But I`m worried about Mid Bass - punchyness. I do not want to use huge door builds & they will never sound right anyway. So I plan to use 4x 10" or 8" subs. To help the system sound better / seem more punchy - quick I`ll be feeding them about 250wrms each. So should I do this or what`s the best way to do it? BTW: I`m aiming for the system to play music @ 150dB+ 16 Cu.Ft. Box. Ported using 4x S.I. 15" Magnums. Thanks guys.

Well I purchased 2 IA LI 15's and want to build a box 8 cubes after displacemnt. I'm wanting to use the psp ports to tune it to 32hz. My question is can I use 4-4" ports and have enough port area? Psp's calculator says 14.61" in length for my desired tuning but a local shop told me do 6" ports. Which is going to work better? ------this is going in my 07 Ford Escape with usable dim. of 40wx22dx22h

i'm gonna be running 2 batteries but i'm not sure what isolator to get. my setup is an orion 2500D and a pg ti500.4 with a 200 amp alt. and big 3 done in 1/0 guage wire. i have just a stock battery under the hood and plan to run a small yellowtop in the back, but i don't know what isolator to use and where to get one. i found this one here: http://www.darvex.com/miva/merchant...duct_Code=SR200 is that one any good or can i get another/or better one somewhere else?
