I am planning on buying HC1800 and 5 HC600s soon. I want to use Knukonceptz Konfused battery terminals on these batteries but it appears that Kinetik's battery posts are for ring terminals only. So... while i was surfing, i found this- http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8425_K...P+-KHC-TP-.html So, if i buy those, all i have to do is unscrew the ones off of the batts, put these on and that's it, right?

I was at a car comp at Michigan Tech today, took 1st place in Street B with a 143.6 on the TL playing Outkast - Speakerboxx. I also took first in amateur SQ.

I personally choose the lighter fluid/gasoline way It burned steady for about 10 minutes at this height before shrinking down a bit. (It was filled with some kindling and logs) (The guy next to it is about 6 ft tall) How about the rest of you?

I'm looking for options for sub placement so I can keep as much of my trunk as possible (because I haul a ton of sh*t). My spare tire well hasn't been used since I did my deadening and to me it's just wasted space. My question is how do spare tire well installs sound? I've seen tons of them, but never heard one in person. Any other options so that I can retain as much trunk space as possible? And FYI, I'm planning on a simple 10" or 12", nothing too crazy.

I'm going to be running 2 1,000w Sundown amps and 2 10" SSA Icons and today my alternator went so I guess it's a great time to upgrade. Any recommendations? I really have no idea what I'm looking for, but definitely would prefer something more budget-oriented as I don't have a lot of money right now and need to get my car back in working order. This will be for a 2000 Sunfire.

Is it safe to put a ground under the carpet, or do i have to cut a hole around the ground? Also, i watched an instructional video on grounding a long time ago, and i remember the guy putting 3 or 4 screws in the ring terminal to keep it down. Is that alright, or do i have to bolt? I'm putting the ground (1/0) where my jack used to be under the backseat of my dodge ram. I know its safe to drill there because there are bolts already there for a bracket to hold the jack.

Hey guys, Heres my problem: My system isn't loud enough for me anymore. What I have: -12" Soundsplinter rlp -Planet Audio amp [does 650 into 2ohms(which is what I'm running my sub at)] -2.6 @ 34hrz box I think its a combination of my mildly weak amp, and not quite the right size box thats throwing me off, but then again, I could be wrong. What I'm considering doing is selling my RL-P 12" and the amp with the box for as much as I can, and with it purchasing a 15" sub (most likely another rl-p) and a 1400w amp and then building a new box. I'm also considering buying another 12", buying that same 1400w amp, and running 2 12"s. If I'm thrifty and get some good deals, I'm sure…

I have a deh-p590 ib with 4v preouts which are actually 2.2-2.3v. My gain was originally around 1/3rd on my sub amp set with a dmm at 3/4 volume with a 50hz 0db test tone. I hit the power cable on my amp and fried it. I replaced the amp with the same one and had to turn the gain to 2/3rds (around .75v mark on the amp) to get the same output voltage. I figured i screwed up my head unit, but didnt really think twice about it. Last fall i bought a pdx 4.100 and four new speakers... with the gain all the way up i could not get the correct output voltage using a test tone and dmm. I turned the sla to +4 and the gain settled around 3/4 up (just past .5v mark on amp). I just put…

whats everyones opinions on knukoncepts amp kits? would you choose it over kickers pdk1's provided they where the same price?

Sub: Fi BL 18 with flatwind and p chamfer Amp: Hifonics bxi2006d (again, its not sundown or anything, but it should get the job done for now and even if it is overrated, i think 1800 should push a bl just fine. Wiring: Knuconcepts.. look Not included in the kit are RCAs and the speaker wire. Also should i get 10 or 12 gauage, and what do i need to fit it into the terminal on the sub? I have talked to Dom Iraggi and I know for sure I am getting his 4 alt bracket. I've had multiple people who I trusted tell me to run at least one 200a or smaller alternator in order to support my normal car functions. After talking to Dominick Iraggi he told me to get 4 260amp alternators, that they would supply me with the most power for my daily driving setup, since they have great idling amperage and I would never see full power without reving the engine (which I wouldn't do). im looking at replaceing my stock speakers with a set of CADENCE SOUND SYSTEMS CWM 6 KIT COMPONENT SPEAKER SYSTEM in the front and a set of Cadence Cadence Flash 5.25" 2-way Speakers for the rear the problem is i never heard them or of the name before are they any good? or should i shop around for some kappa's i want a good sound inside the car.

Chyea! so i wanna look into a nice audio set up for my car but im not 100% sure on what exactly to look for or how it all works really. So im looking to see if anyone can explain or direct me to a website or something that can explain how car audio works. preferably starting from the basics. Something for example would be this: T2-250.1: Continuous Power @ 14.4 V: 175W x 1 @ 4 ohms 250W x 1 @ 2 ohms what does it mean when it says 175w x 1 @ 4 ohms? this is what i have first off. then the question. HU is a Kenwood Excelon XXV-01D, comps would be a set of Illusion LM-6 mids and rainbow tweets. amps would include a orion 8002 for the mids, and a orion 2002 for the tweets. NOW, for the quetions. seeing how the HU has a pretty good x-over on it. could i use that for the prossesing and use the front pre-outs for the tweets and the rear for the mids. (HU also has sub outs too) if that wouldn't work, what kinda prossesor should i use, what what kinda settings should i have it on. thanks.
