Got stuck with another moonroof when I got my new truck(2001 blazer) wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the roof after having bass for awhile, ie not opening/ closing or no longer making a seal? I had one in my old car and it wasn't the same when I got rid of it as when I got it but figured that's jsut because it was a piece of chit Saturn.

I was wondering if i should do another run of wire from the alt to the bat? This is for my second alt to the batteries in the trunk. Right now i have a single T30001bd amp and a single run of 2/0 and i was looking at getting a second T30001bd amp. If i go ahead and get the second amp should i do a second run of wire?

will a stock s10 alt be able to hold the amps that the new 1500x1 fosgate pulls? i have a yellow top under the hood. should i buy another battery or buy a 200 amp alt?

When the sub is on the port side, does it make a difference if the sub is closer to the port or farther away? if this question doesnt make sense just tell me and ill try to explain it a little differently.

My buddy wants to know how he can wall his ford ranger with 15s He has a 2003 Ford Ranger Ext Cab 4x4 lifted 5" and 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers. He already took out his rear seats and stuff and has a custom box tuned to 36hz with a 12" Fi Q on a SAE 1000. He's ready to upgrade.. He just wants an idea. Hes budget-minded so nothing too expensive I suggested 4 SA 15s on two SAZ 1500. Or one SAZ 3000. He hasn't upgraded his alternator but he has done the big 3 and has 2 kinetik HC 2400s with 1/0 kicker wiring on everything. His question is what's a good budget wall for his truck. Hey there everyone....I have a few friends who do a little free "tweak and test" thing for SPL every couple weeks. The next one is Saturday, August 20th (weather permitting of course.) It will be from 4pm-9pm at the Brunswick car show. The city holds a car show/crusin gig every Saturday at Laurel Square Shopping Center. They have their own space to do test and tune, just look for the EZ-UP tent and some loud cars around it. The address is 1733 Pearl Road, Brunswick Ohio 44212. i am thinking about getting speaker replacements for my oem door speakers. i got a 96 honda accord coupe. these are the two i am looking at right now: ALPINE SPS-600 6-1/2" 2-WAY 240W and KICKER KS60 6 1/2" 2-WAY 195W. which one is better and maybe if someone else has a better set tell me. these two are only 10 dollars apart on ebay. they sell for around 50 shipped.

Installed a 10" IDQv3 and JL 500/1 for a friend last week in 2008 G37, signal was provided from Scosche LOC connected to rear speaker leads, then 2 pairs or RCA's run to the front to a PAC Level control, 1 in, 1 out. At first we used the crappy JL signal sensing to turn it on, and after he would shut the car off especially when closing the door, he would get the loud feedback from the subwoofer, almost like it was just playing a test tone. I went and bypassed the LOC for him using a 3 foot rca, and hooked up the REM to a switched power lead on the car hoping that would help. While it isn't doing it when he shuts the door now, it's doing it sometimes when he changes songs …

I maybe getting a 12" JL W7 which the guy is asking $350 for the sub. I will listen to it before I buy it, but is there anything in particular that JL W7's have problems with that I should be aware of? Next question, I have a Cadence ZRS-8 amp. Will this amp be ok running the W7, because I think I read that they're a 3 ohm sub? So I want to get started on the wall for the dcons, but I realized I probably won't be able to replace panels in the rear with the wall in. So there is my quandary. My right rear quarter panel is rusted all the way through, it's painted over as a temporary cover up but it's still obvious. Should I postpone the wall for months and months for me to replace all the panels that need to be replaced? Or any other ideas? I've also thought about finding another bronco with a good body and doing the modifications I want to make it my style, but this truck as a lot of sentimental value so that would be hard for me.

Hi everybody, I need to buy some parts for my next sub box. I need 2 flared ports with elbows, and 1 or 2 pairs of binding posts. I found everything on part-express, but I need another shop because of their sales conditions (they only accept wire transfers, not Paypal from my country! they charge me $25 for the transfer !!!)
