Got stuck with another moonroof when I got my new truck(2001 blazer) wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the roof after having bass for awhile, ie not opening/ closing or no longer making a seal? I had one in my old car and it wasn't the same when I got rid of it as when I got it but figured that's jsut because it was a piece of chit Saturn.

I'm on Knukonceptz.com right now and i'm filling my cart with all the shit i'm going to need. I got 100 ft Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 (50ft blue / 50ft black) Two sets of Krystal Kable 2 Channel 6M Twisted Pair RCA Cable (that reminds me, where can i buy remote wire?) Now, i cannot think of how much speaker wire i'm going to need. I'm pretty sure i'm going with KASA Kable Silver Plated 10 Gauge Speaker Wire Car Audio Wire BUT i don't know how much... the 2 amps are going to be mounted to the box and the amount of speakers i have is 2. Suggestions? I don't want to over shoot by 40 feet considering i'll never end up using it and at 3 bucks a foot it'll big a pretty nice amou…

I've been looking around for a 12" and my fingers were looking deeply at the Fi Q, until I tried to understand what all of their options do. The information is so lacking and even misleading that I couldn't make myself to buy a from a company that produces "quality" equipment but can't even describe their options correctly. So now I'm looking at the 12" ICON. Not only have I read it's great sealed it produces great SQ I was interested with going ported with the Q but now that I think of it, I'm not willing to give up my entire trunk. Could anyone with experience with the 12" ICON, with a sedan (I drive a 2003 Accord), give me some info regarding how the SQ would be in th…

I maybe getting a 12" JL W7 which the guy is asking $350 for the sub. I will listen to it before I buy it, but is there anything in particular that JL W7's have problems with that I should be aware of? Next question, I have a Cadence ZRS-8 amp. Will this amp be ok running the W7, because I think I read that they're a 3 ohm sub? Here are my amp specs. 4 Ohm Competition Rating: 50W x 1 2 Ohm RMS Power: 750 Watts x 1 1 Ohm RMS Power: 1500 Watts x 1

A few weeks ago, I noticed my sub randomly get quiet and loud back and forth ONLY while driving. When I'm at a red light or stopped for any reason, it plays a lot quieter than it should be (literally half the volume that it is when it's loud). When I accelerate, it goes back to normal temporarily. For a few days, it did the opposite. When I braked, it got loud, and when I accelerated it got quiet. This has been driving my crazy. I checked my wire connections at my amp and they were fine. I had autozone check my battery and alternator and they were good. I even checked the voltage myself on my battery and it was fine. They are both stock by the way. 1 more thing I noticed …

Hey guys I'm saving up for the BTL 15" setup as I stated before in a different topic.. I'm running into quite a few money issues and the process is sadly being delayed for me which really sucks for now I just have 2 12" kicker CVR's doing around a weak 115 in a sealed box.. I heard MANY great things about ported boxes and want to try to build one but I'm just 17 and never done this before and I figure now is a great time to learn. I went to www.homedepot.com to try and find some 3/4th" MDF wood as someone on here told me to do but was unable to find any as far as the -online site- goes. I know building another sealed box is easy just 4 panels and 2 12" holes in one very …

Hey guys, I have to do a asignment in class where I have to create a manual. Instead of trying to type this, I was wondering if there is one floating around out there that someone could point me in the direction of. My teacher said I could just copy one and give it to her. So if anyone knows where there is one on the web, lemme know. Thx Josh

ive given up trying to fit my 18btl into my 86 monte. i would either have to fire into the trunk(eww) or lose all of my trunk. so im thinking about switching to 2 ssd 15's which will let me keep about 8 cubes of trunk space. the ssd's should be better for sq but still get down and play hard. i was going to feed the fair a clean 2000 watts at 1 ohm. should i get them loaded or just leave them stock. if i get them loaded can they take more power. Hi everybody, I need to buy some parts for my next sub box. I need 2 flared ports with elbows, and 1 or 2 pairs of binding posts. I found everything on part-express, but I need another shop because of their sales conditions (they only accept wire transfers, not Paypal from my country! they charge me $25 for the transfer !!!) I will look up on ebay, but I think you can help me here ! thanks for all your informations.

I hope that I am posting this in the right place. I have 2006 Honda Odyssey EX that has the 6 CD changer and XM capable stereo. I have heard that it may be possible to connect a device that will allow me to "hard wire" my iPod, using that XM connection. Can anyone tell me exactly what I would need to make this happen? I am not looking for anything fancy really, just to be able to use my iPod without using an FM transmitter. I don't know jack about car audio, but I have a friend who says he can help me install it once we find the exact right part. Can anyone help me? PK

I built 2 boxes lately and I will be doing a 3rd soon, and I love buying tools so I "need" a router. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg, but I will spend what is required to have a decent setup(not harbor freight). I want to be able to do speaker hole cut outs with it, round the edges of the box and ports, and anything else that is usefull. Im not sure what bits I would need either, I was thinking 3 one to make cut outs, one for rounded edges, and one to flush mount on a double baffle. Also I think I need the jasper circle jig unless there is a better/cheaper alternative.
