I have an 880prs running active to a soundmagus 90.4 (soon to be Sundown SAX-100.4) , running CDT M6 mids in the doors and peerless tweeters in the sail panel. I am currently looking to get rid of both the mids and tweeters and upgrade. The doors are fully deadned and sealed w/ cascade deadner and reflex pads. Just looking for some help as to which way i should go with the about 200 i have to spend. The tweeter I need to stay within 1" and mid I can go 7" at most. thanks for any help nate

If anybody around here likes country, I just got done with Trace Adkins - Every light in the house is on....Peaks at 46hz and 52hz...My truck peaks around 45hz and it slams pretty good. It is slowed a little bit. If anybody wants it PM me and i'll email it to you. Let me know what you think! Trace Adkins - Tracy Lawrence - Every Light In The House Is On_0.mp3

If this were you, what would you do- If you already had all of your sound deadening and HU installed, all u need to do is buy your front stage\midbass amps for all those, then your subs and amps and all wiring and new alternator. If the money you were gonna spend regardless came up to - ~$3,200, if you knew you had the room to double output power from 2,000w to 4,500w, would you spend an extra $1,300? Added weight is approx 500 lbs out of a total of 865 so new coil overs or shocks would also need to be bough as well ~$850 on top of $1,300. Opinions? I'd like to break 150 some point in my life but for a daily driver it's hard. I'm lookin at wanting to buy 4 AA Arsenal 10s …

Hi guys, Hope this is in the right section?? Brand new to the forum, just trying to find out if this HU is any good?? Can't find any reviews online? Made a MASSIVE school boy error today and bought one of these along with an alpine 12 disc changer..... I didn't realise this was a cassette receiver as the model number wasn't in the Ad, all the info I had was it was 4x60 watts and I stupidly assumed it was one of the higher end alpines even if it was old!! I got a friend to collect it, I would have checked if I'd have gone, but it was actually advertised as cd player & cd changer!! It's only cost me £50 for the 2 units, I'm just wondering how good the sound quality is …

Will a pair of 15" FI BL's with the cooling and flatwind option surive being pushed by a SAZ-3000D? The subs will be loaded in my old sub box wich is 4.5 cu ft per chamber tuned to 35hz. Or maybe I should look into the btl's?

  11. Hey guys, I just ordered myself an AA mayhem 12" and I am currently waiting on it. In the meantime I have been looking for a box to put it in. I immediately went over to the Khaotic enclosures to see what they had for a ported single 12. At first I found exactly what I was looking for, A low tuned box, Nicely built, For a good price. However After taking more measurements, I realized that the box isn't going to fit in my 03 Mercury Sable. I went back onto the forums to see if I could find anything else. I came across the DC creations boxes and I filled out an inquiry to get a quote on a box. I still have not gotten a response over the past few days. I don't have the mat…

So I moved into my dorms for college today, I figured I should check out the town and look for any audio shops. I found one that used to carry RE products, but now mainly KIcker and Memphis it looks like. Anyway, I looked around the shop and found an RE 12 RE series, and a Coustic 321qe. I managed to get both of them for 230, Both BNIB. Anybody, think I got ripped off or was this a great find? Also, the gain knob of the front channel seems to be stuck, any ways to fix this? Found a tiny little website for anyone up here in Ontario, Canada. It seems really helpful, almost every local competition is posted up and will be really helpful for people starting to get into the competition scene. Check it out! The forum itself is still very small but very useful aswell! http://www.ontariobasssociety.com

  16. Ok, First off, I am no genius at picking the stuff I want in my car, but I am pretty good with electronics as I majored in physics, and can beat my way around the bush putting it in a car. I really just want something that sounds great as a final product. My question to the community here! Q: I have an 06 Dodge Durango SLT (just the simple , no GPS or anything special). I want to upgrade the chitty speakers all the way around, but I'm not sure what to buy. Crutchfield is saying I can't buy component speakers because tweeters need to be placed seperately, which I understand, yet I think there is tweaters just under the front window. No tweeters in the back though I'm pre…

Installed a 10" IDQv3 and JL 500/1 for a friend last week in 2008 G37, signal was provided from Scosche LOC connected to rear speaker leads, then 2 pairs or RCA's run to the front to a PAC Level control, 1 in, 1 out. At first we used the crappy JL signal sensing to turn it on, and after he would shut the car off especially when closing the door, he would get the loud feedback from the subwoofer, almost like it was just playing a test tone. I went and bypassed the LOC for him using a 3 foot rca, and hooked up the REM to a switched power lead on the car hoping that would help. While it isn't doing it when he shuts the door now, it's doing it sometimes when he changes songs …

Since I got back into car audio I have stayed away from the so called "Mainstream" brands when it came to my amplifiers and subwoofers. What sold me on the smaller companies was the customer service and the ability to talk to the owner/owners either through the forums, email or direct phone call. I think we all know what forum all these great companies are a part of.... :bigclap: What are the horror stories you have had with companies with poor customer service?
