I bought a few of these for a single cab truck build from Digital Photo Club. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company.... madisound has already shipped my horns out, and yet after 2 days I haven't even received an order confirmation from "digital photo club". If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it. Also, if this doesn't work out.... what would be a good company to order selenium loudspeakers from? Thanks!

  4. ok, so i have my subs and i have figured out the amp to power them. now i need to figure out if the box that i have will be sufficient or if i am better off with a different design. the following is as much useful information as i can think of, but if you need anymore just ask. also haven't been able to find detailed specs on the speakers, so i don't know fo, qes, xmax or anything like that, that's why i need your help. haven't found anyone that has that info either, so hopefully you all can still throw me some input. thanks. car: 99 altima subs: pair of 12" american bass vfl1266 amp: rockford t1500 current box: sealed 34x14x14 3/4mdf music: mostly juggalo beats and nu-me…

I'm planning out a box for my 8" Orphan driver. Using 3/4" mdf, outer dimensions are 12x12x15, driver displacement is approximately .15 ft3, and I am thinking of using a 2x9 inch flared aeroport to bring the box specs to 0.69 ft3 @ ~34 hz. Is this an adequate port? Or am i missing something? I'm pretty new to round ports, as I have built only slot ports. Any help is appreciated.

  6. I currently have an iPhone and eventually I'm going to ditch it for something else. I'm undecided at the moment as to what I want to actually get, but its probably going to be a Samsung or Sony Ericsson music phone. ANYWAYS I have a DEH-P600UB and it has a USB cable, with an iPod cable in-line with it. I hook up my iPhone to the iPod cable and I control all my music from the head unit. What I'm wondering is if anyone else has tried this with a phone other than an iPhone and has been able to control their music through their head unit. I don't want to use the AUX port, I didn't even bother hooking up a cable to it. You all probably know what I mean just from the title but…

I'm going optical from my IVA-D310 to my PXA-H701 and rca's from there so they really dont need to be long TechFlex, how do you know what size you need to use? Please give me examples i.e. 1/0 needs 1", 3 runs of 12AWG speaker wire need 5/8" etc And what ratio heat shrink should I use for the TechFlex as well Thanks

ok so i traded my friend the orions, i got from nccj, for these pioneer subs i got from bb a while back(basiclly i sold him those too and got them back) and he gave me 50bux(in change ) but anyway, i have my PA 3000db, calculated a lil bit, and came up wt these numbers ohms watts gain 8 200 4 1100 900 2 1800 700 1 2300 500 0.5 2550 250 Now the subs are rated at 150rms per sub, so 300total. So i have them in series and thier both 4ohms so it should be 8ohms total. I'm scared to turn them up loud because i dont want to blow them cuz im gonna giv them to my g/f once my subs come in. The gain is set to 0, and all bass is set to 0 and -7on the HU, lol, I can hear it …

so i finally decided the Q isn't quiet enough for me now a days. i need something bigger. so i just have some questions for you guys.. right now i have a 12" Q powered by a SAE 1000D. i am debating whether to get 1 15" or 2 12"s. i'm looking for which ever has the better output. now obviously the best out put would be out of two 12"s. but money is pretty tight, and i don't want to upgrade all my electrical if i don't have too. i was thinking about just getting 1 12" for now, selling my Q, and running 1 12" off my SAE. how will that sound? will ~1200w make the BTL happy? (daily use) then when money comes along i want to get the second 12" and then eventually the amp. i wa…

I've seen a lot of topics about resistance so i decided to make topic about this to clear things up. There are 3 ways how to run your dual coil sub. 1) Series connection: you will wire your sub in series. If you connect in series you add resistance. 1+1=2 ohms 2+2=4 ohms 4+4=8 ohms 2) Parallel connection: Hook up your sub in parallel. Making your resistance lower. 1/1+1/1+1/2 = 0.5 ohms 1/2+1/2+1/1 = 1 ohm 1/4+1/4+1/0.5 = 2 ohms 3) Or you can run dual channel amp, 1 coil to 1 channel. Or run 2 amps one amp to one channel. I actually don't recommend this connection, because coils have to be powered equally, you need to make really accurate settings. Hope that this helps yo…

I was thinking of putting up a wall in the 944 for that massive dmx12 stage 2 i just had some one tell me that if you make a wall in your car you can get pulled over because you cant see out the back window is this true? my other question is, is there a class in comps were u can use a single 12 and if so what is the avg DB that people hit at say 50-60hz and what is the world record with a single 12. Was thinking sub in the middle and 2 6 inch aero ports on the sides next to it. never done a wall but would like to give it a go and maybe get into some comps.

Do you guys think that a 200a Idle and 260a Max( Ohio Gen) will be enough for 2x USAmps MD-3D and 2x USAmps MD21? and for batteries 1x Power Master D5100R in the front and 2x Power Master D3100 in the back, that's the biggest Ohio can make in the GM Large case CS-144 Alt. so what do you guys think, will it be enough? Thanks.

I had my system installed about 10 years ago and I ve never really been happy with it. I finally have started diving into to the install and am not happy with very much of it as far as quality and cleanliness. I like things to look stealth and very clean. I have been doing a lot of reading and am getting a plan together. You can see what I have now in my sig. I have questions about wiring, sound deadening, component speaker mounting and adapters, and sub and enclosure. Is this the right section for all these questions? Couple questions to start it off...I have a capacitor that I've had about 12 years now. I always thought it was a good thing until I started reading that I…
