i am currently running a sae-1200dv2 and i have the big three done in my 02 grand prix gtp... i am getting 2 sa-12s and i plan to be getting the sax.100.4 also. i was woundering if the Shuriken SK-BT120 battery will be big enough to run both amps or shuld i just run the 100.4 off the yellow top under the hood?

need to know are they any good .are they under rated ?what type box ?not sugjusted closed box.?will they beat good

Okay, just brainstorming here... Say I had two D1 subs. I could series wire the coils on each to 2 ohms, then parallel subs to 1 ohm. Or... I could parallel coils to .5 ohms, then series to 1 ohm. But... Could I wire one set of coils in parallel, to .5 ohms, and the other set of coils to 2 ohms, then wire them in series for... .4 ohms? Or is it not good to use different subs...

Any recommendations for a MDF paint primer? I would prefer the typical gray color of primers. I've heard that you need a special primer, but I wasn't sure. I did a search but most places said use primer as a general term and didn't specify a certain kind of primer or anything. I need know to smooth out and prime my old DCON boxes and also some SSA logo cutouts. Thanks

I'm looking for something for my rears in my apartment. I want something that curves up over my couch to shoot down. I don't want to mount anything to the walls because then I have nasty wires. Remember the Best Buy Bose demo with those curved ones in the rear? Something like that would be schweet. PE doesn't have anything like that and ebay is being coy.

My buddy just picked it up. Has a lot of gadgets going with the HU. Can he upgrade it? Or, will it make him lose some of the finctionality of the displays and whatnot? It has plenty of room in the trunk and could uae some audio upgrades. Stock is bose speakers. They still dont sound great IMO.

I was thinking of putting up a wall in the 944 for that massive dmx12 stage 2 i just had some one tell me that if you make a wall in your car you can get pulled over because you cant see out the back window is this true? my other question is, is there a class in comps were u can use a single 12 and if so what is the avg DB that people hit at say 50-60hz and what is the world record with a single 12. I've seen a lot of topics about resistance so i decided to make topic about this to clear things up. There are 3 ways how to run your dual coil sub. 1) Series connection: you will wire your sub in series. If you connect in series you add resistance. 1+1=2 ohms 2+2=4 ohms 4+4=8 ohms 2) Parallel connection: Hook up your sub in parallel. Making your resistance lower. 1/1+1/1+1/2 = 0.5 ohms 1/2+1/2+1/1 = 1 ohm 1/4+1/4+1/0.5 = 2 ohms 3) Or you can run dual channel amp, 1 coil to 1 channel. Or run 2 amps one amp to one channel. I actually don't recommend this connection, because coils have to be powered equally, you need to make really accurate settings. Hope that this helps yo…

so i finally decided the Q isn't quiet enough for me now a days. i need something bigger. so i just have some questions for you guys.. right now i have a 12" Q powered by a SAE 1000D. i am debating whether to get 1 15" or 2 12"s. i'm looking for which ever has the better output. now obviously the best out put would be out of two 12"s. but money is pretty tight, and i don't want to upgrade all my electrical if i don't have too. i was thinking about just getting 1 12" for now, selling my Q, and running 1 12" off my SAE. how will that sound? will ~1200w make the BTL happy? First, i feel like an idiot for having to ask this. But my 10 gauge klear kable from knukonceptz is confusing me a little bit. It's not one wire, but two runs that are kinda stuck together. I dont know if i'm describing it well, but i'm hoping everyone else but me knows what i'm talking about lol. One strand is a square like shape, and the strand connected to it is circular in shape. I thought maybe i was supposed to strip off both, so i did that and then twisted them together to fit in the terminal (fi bl), but no cigar. Can someone please help me? Since I got back into car audio I have stayed away from the so called "Mainstream" brands when it came to my amplifiers and subwoofers. What sold me on the smaller companies was the customer service and the ability to talk to the owner/owners either through the forums, email or direct phone call. If this were you, what would you do- If you already had all of your sound deadening and HU installed, all u need to do is buy your front stage\midbass amps for all those, then your subs and amps and all wiring and new alternator. If the money you were gonna spend regardless came up to - ~$3,200, if you knew you had the room to double output power from 2,000w to 4,500w, would you spend an extra $1,300? Added weight is approx 500 lbs out of a total of 865 so new coil overs or shocks would also need to be bough as well ~$850 on top of $1,300. Opinions? hey everyone. i got a set of x-overs and was wondering if u can help with the settings. when i take the cap off there is a wire that goes to eather "A" or "B" plug. there is also another wire that can go to low, med, can't remeber the third one, and loud. what are all these for. thanks for your help guys.

I'm running an eclipse 7100 in an active setup. It annoys the chit out of me that amongst all these expensive hu's every one of them is a compromise. My 7100 is great, but the ipod interface and the track display leave alot to be desired. Before I went active I wandered into a local shop hoping to have a look at the display on a 7200 to determine how big a deal the sun washout is. They didn't have one and when he called his guy on it and asked about it he did a double take and made sure it wasn't a touch screen($$$).
