I need to get a custom box for my SP4 15s fully loaded. I have an 2011 yukon that's needs some much need attention LOL

I have 1 crescendo 5500 @ 1 ohm on 2 18 sp4s box is 6.5 cub per 18 with 170 inch of square port! 18s are fully loaded. Pioneer deh80prs,4 rockford fosgate 5 1/4 and us 600 pushing them. 320 mech. Alt. 1 xs 3100 up front and 2 3400 in back of honda odyssey van. All 0 gauge cable. Never has it metered, but want more for comp. My question is this what about 1 more 18 with a wall and have amp wired to 1/2 ohm ( for comp) with some dynamat, or two more 18s? Either way will be just the one 5500 cresendo running subs. And how much diffrence do you think would be either way?

For fun: If you had to pick one brand for amp, sub, speakers who would you pick and why ? Let's say $5000 budget on one and one dream no budget build. omit head unit so more brands to pick from. SQ build and/or SPL your pick. Just for fun, curious to everyone's picks.

Hi I was in my friends ride yesterday and heard a problem ive never read about When he turns his radio on, there is a static noise very similar to one you might hear from white static on a tv This noise starts before the music does and continues throughout music play Besides the annoying sound in the background, the music sounds fine Dude told me he just got a new radio cause he was hooking an amp up in the back and his headunit started smoking I could not figure that 1 out either, maybe he hooked the remote from the old radio 2 the batt and ground at the same time? So im trying to do my first recone and the tinsel leads won't fit through the small hole in the terminal, am i suppose to fabricate it somehow? also the tinsel leads on my other zcon 18 looks more round and in one peice and the recone looks flat and folded. I don't want to mess anything up zcon 18 tinsel leads ( looks round and in one piece) old sub zcon recone for broken sub flat looking tinsel leads. Terminal

I have a 09 silverado crew cab with factory radio and speakers. I don't know if i want to put a box under the rear seats or not but I do want some nice sound and clarity.. what are my options for good mids and highs? As for my budget i don't really have one but I don't want to spend a fortune

So i am planning to rebuild and i was planning on 4 15's but don't want to give up that much space. I would like to keep it at the c-pillar. So i was thinking 3 15's. So what would i have to worry about wiring up 3 subs? I have 2 AQ2200d to power them so if i strap them i would like to stay near the 2 ohm's. I dont know much about box rise but if i had them wired at 1.5ohm's would that be ok? What other suggestions do you guys have

So no more then an hour ago I had a post about a Focal amp I found on WoofersEtc.com for 200 bucks but then someone recommended an NVX amp. I checked out the website which i'll link below and was impressed with the gear and information provided. What they had to say about there company and videos I watched I figured they are definitely worth a look. As of now I am looking at Soundqubed for my amps but I can get NVX amps for a little cheaper and from what I saw they look better. Anyone have experience with this company ?? i have a wierd problem i just installed o ga wire under the hood for the big 3 and now i have a really bad ground problem like i hear when i hit the brake pedal even the turning signal and cant understand it. i grounded it to the frame and vehicles factory location also sanded them to bare metal... and just the other day now if i turn it up to a certain volume it sounds like the woofer flop or play out of tune thats why i was thinking it might be the rca's any help appreciated.... i run 2 12'' q's on a everest soundlabs prototype amp box is 5 cuft and tuned to 30hz

planning on purchasing the Q1-1200D and running a FI Q12 at 1 ohm producing 1200watts. If I were to switch the FI Q12 for say an SSA Gcon 12 rated at 750rms and running the Q1-1200D at 2 ohms producing 870watts would the response/SQ etc. be different ? What I'm really wondering is stressing the amp at 1 ohm pushing the Q12 produce not as good clear/SQ/responsive bass then running it at 2ohms with a Gcon 12? Or for comparing purposes say the ICON 12 with Q1-1200D at 1 ohm vs the GCON 12 with Q1 at 2 ohms produce a different sound ? Hello everyone just need a little bit of advice if someone could help me out! Here is the scenario. I have a 2001 ford windstar minivan with this done: 2 alpine type rs hifonics brutus 1200 rms 4 guage wire with 60 amp inline fuse NO big three stock alternator Today I switched out my battery and put in a kinetik hc1800. On my way to work I experienced very bad voltage drops to the point the amp cut out. I did not experience this bad of voltage drop with my stock battery. I have money at my disposal and I also don't want to hurt my equipment I just don't know what is the next step?

Okay, I have had this horrible smell for about 3 days. Didnt know what it was until i opened the good and seen my fuse smoking..... So I found my fuse holder smoking with the side that goes to the amp alll burned up and melted.... I dont know why at all.... It only started after my car had ran out of gas... Not sure how or why that would have an affect. but the odd thing too is my subs pound fine and my highs are still going. What can I do!?!? or check for? The only other thing I could even think was bad was a ground? Would that be a problem?

During my night shift last night noticed the Nakamichi PA-1500 was the same price as the Soundqubed Q1-1200D. Is the Nakamichi the same quality it is famous for? Are they at the same level quality wise as the Q1-1200D or even better ? I've read how awesome Nakamichi was in the day but having troubles finding up to date info on the quality of there products? Also anyone hear the SPW-1210 their 12' woofer ? Any good compared to say Fi Q12 or SSA ICON 12? How are their components ? I plan to build a floating amp rack in trunk of my car and was wondering what the best material to use for the construction. I was thinking 3/4" boxed tubing but I'm not a structural engineer or anything, so i would appreciate the input on the matter.

So I was driving down to the grocery store the other day and decided to throw the bass nectar station on pandora and turned it up a bit. I have one 10inch Icon on 1200w in my crew cab silverado. I go to leave the store and the truck womt start. So i start checking fuses. I find one fuse in the box is kind of half out. Push it back in and problem solved. The only thing i can think is the bass vibrated it out. Possible? Anyone else have it happen? Fuse box is in the engine bay.

i have a bl 18 in my nissan frontier crew cab on a 3000 watt hifonics brutus and i have about 300 more dollars to spend and i planned on getting another battery for about 100 dollars then should i get the epicenter or seal it off i might can do both but pretty much what im asking is what should i do from this point to make my system better
