Just got this email from the police officer handling my case and lives next door:

I have a 1966 Chevy C-10 Pickup and I am pulling the system out of my car to put in the Truck when I get the brakes fixed. Anyway, I have been surfing the web like crazy and I can't find a dash install kit for the truck So I can put my HU in it. Do they even make one? Or am I going to have to have someone cut into the dash to make a custom fitted one?

Here is the little back story.. I bought my car off my dad, who previously installed some aftermarket audio system. I decided i wanted to upgrade the components and he said that he has Infinity Reference 5.25" components in there already so I decided to go with the Bravox CS50k (5.25") component set for ease of install. Today, I go to install the Bravox's and notice that the Infinity's are indeed 6.5". So now iv payed $150 dollars for a downgrade in size.. Great.

I don't know how many of you know much about Thilo Stampler, TC Sounds, and Audiopulse. I recently visited thier forum(which I do on occasion) and was amazed by what a sad collection of wannabe-ghetto trash that has infested the site. You have people posting other people criminal records, "authorized dealers" spouting profanity, and the same 3-5 people posting anything anywhere they can generally bad-mouthing anyone with anything decent or intelligent to say. Just for example...I want to run 4 subs off a monoblock amp with 2 channels of amplification. If I run 2 subs wired in series to get my desired ohm load. Say I'm putting out 500 watts to one channel of power, do both subs see 500 watts? or is it changed a little?

hey guys i have a 1997 f150 single cab with a 95A alternator. i think im going to get for my front stage Rockford Fosgate T1572C coaxial 5x7 and i am only going to use 2 and get rid of the back to stock speakers. I am going to run them off of the sundown 100.2 amp. For my sub i am going to get a FI Q and put it in a ported box and run it off of a sundown saz 1000 d amp. I am also going to do the big three, and for sound deadening i am going to use secondskin Damplifier. My questions are what do u guys think on that set up idea? anyflaws or suggestions u would liek to add? and i am wondering wat different gauge wire's i should use for everything? Hi guys, I bought a PAC Audio adapter to "add an amp" to my factory stereo. The adapter runs around $100 from the PAC site, so I did a little price checkin' around the net. I found a great deal on ebay for $75. shipped from a car dealership out of New York. So I ordered. Everything arrived great, got it installed, and started tweeking the amp. Everything worked great for 2 weeks, when all of a sudden the PAC part burned up. I contacted PAC and they told me they can't help me because I bought it from a NON-AUTHORIZED DEALER. im looking at buying ether a fi ssd 15 fully loaded or a fi q 15 stock. i want to get output but still have clean bass. i know the q is more of a SQ sub but i have not heard much about ssd's

my friend bought this sub that he is putting in his car when he gets one but he said i can have it til he gets his car its a interfire, i have never heard of them before. im pretty sure its a interfire IFB-15D. i wired it up and listened to it free air and it was real quite and didnt move much. would a box make it alot louder? also i need a box design if anyone wants to draw me up one it next to alpine type r 10

so I bid on a "Lot of car amplifiers" on ebay the other day.. pics were small and hard to see but I took my chances because I knew what he had was worth something. Today I opened up the box and found a almost brand new MINT Soundstream reference 300, Alpine MRV F300 in the same condition with all manuals etc, an audio control 2XS Series II crossover in the same condition and 4 sets of monster cable RCAs. I was going to buy to re-sell and keep the cables but these amps are too damn pretty. Heres the best part.. it only cost me $76 bucks

ok so i bought some permatex rubberized under coating that im gonna lay some coats on the trunk and the rear deck lid and see if thats helps with the rattle in my trunk...i think it will....i dont know if alot of people have used this before but i heard a couple of people that used it and said it worked pretty good....only $13 for 3 16oz cans so pretty good deal if it works.

I have A 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee I hooked up a head unit I get sound from it from all the doors and hooked up a amp I thought properly but I was sounding nice the first day then the next mourning I turned it on and I didnt hear any subwoofers the speakers are good I hooked them up to a different system and they worked .I'm so confused I wonder if I have some door speakers crossed and thats stoping it I hooked up at least twelve amps and changed everything that I can change and still no sound ????The only other thing that I can think off to get sound is to hook up a RCA inverter well thats what i think well what do you all think? please help

Today, I just finished installing everything in my car. It includes, Fi BL 12 Sundown SAE 1200d Ported box tuned to 33hz. 1/0 all around. Big 3 already done. I got everything done, and went for a drive to a less populated area. I started to play some music, and noticed that, this setup was hitting just about as hard as my two previous Kicker Comps on 300 watts in a sealed enclosure, if not less. Ok, when I bought my speaker from my friend he gave it to me in this small, crappy made sealed enclosure and i need to take the apeaker out, not necessarily right away, but eventually it needs to come out, but the problem is is that 3 of the 8 screws are stripped, so i need a way to take it out without damaging it, o and the surround is made of metal not rubber. Any ideas?

Ok i was looking at the book and it is saying for a 1 or 4 ohm load hook the - neg. of the sub to the + pos. of the amp and + pos. of the sub to the - neg. of the amp????? is that right

On a retail side of things . I am in the works of something huge, that will please every audio enthusiast on this forum . So yesterday after having my amp turned up and it sounding much louder and has some nice flex to it now (new vids).. I am going to take it to the next SPL competition and see what i place i get..it wont hurt to try and for my first time whatever place ill get ill be happy with.

So..... I recently Installed a new headunit into my car and I had a Sundown SAE-1200D hooked up to it. The headunit was an Alpine iDA-X200 and it worked fine for a couple hours. Then this weird popping noise kept happening..... After a couple more hours this noise was so bad that the amp kept going into protection. No matter what head-unit or amp I use the same thing happens and I have no idea what the FUCK is going on!!!!! Also, the headunit works fine with out the RCA cables and can play other peoples systems through the RCA cable when wired into my car and the amp can also play when hooked up directly to an I-POD. PLEASE HELP!
