System specs: Fi BTL 15" Rockford t1500bd pioneer deh-p6000 ub Olds intrigue I cannot figure this out, when my friend turns his sub off at the head unit and plays music, his sub will play but not to the beats of the music, sounds like humming. I thought it was gain set too high but after adjustment there was no change. these exact same wires ran his BL and hifonics amp with no noise. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I decide to make a couple vids of hairtricks. My last box was much easier to do hair tricks because it was tuned at 25Hz. This box is tuned at 38Hz and is much harder. But its all for fun so enjoy... p.s. My mom is a teacher and we did this video for her students. This is the better vid.

Im picking up a new 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Limited hatcback tomorrow or Thursday. Getting it loaded with nav, so I dont want to swap out the HU. Never did any audio stuff with a stock HU, so not sure what I should get. Do I get line out converters, or 3way crossover? I was looking at the Lanzar Vibe X6, for $35. Wondering if its cheap for a reason. Im going to be swapping out the front speakers with Crescendo CCX65s, filling in the rear with Crescendo Pro Audio mids, and want to put my Havoc 12 in the back. I have a MBQuart ONX 4.80 and 1500.1D (plan to get the new Crescendo 1100C4 at some point). Might also run XST2 super tweeters as well if they will fit in the dash…

Just bought another truck to mess around with and looking into doing a blowthrough. I figured if I'm doing a blowthrough I wanted to do 4 15s. I'm gonna purchase a h/o alt of course. My first option is 4 sundown sa 15s running off of a crescendo bc3500d or a sundown saz 2500d. Looking to only spend about $800 on the amp. Would the crescendo out do the saz for the same dollar pretty much? 2nd option was to get a lil louder. 4 sundown zv4 15s running off of 2 crescendo bc3500d or 2 saz 2500d. need some help on some 6x9's. i have alpine sps-600 in the front doors so i was going to match them with the alpine sps-609 but then i saw the spr-69c is not much more money. should i get sps-609 or the spr-69c with no amp?

I have a 15" SSA Xcon I am looking for a box for. I don't have the time or resources to build a box myself. I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a pre made box for this sub, or direct me to someone who can build one for me. Thank you for your time.

Because i'm always changing my mind and many other reasons. I'd really like to start getting into designing boxes. building them is just a matter of putting a cutsheet togther and building. but the designing part obviously is key. i have a mac just fyi so idk what programs to use but i dont know a thing about designing. tips and tricks? id like to know what program to use what major things to take into consid. what specs of the sub matter anything else you wanna suggest! lol

My e12 came in the mail today (sweet sub btw!) so I put it in my custom sub box in the car to see how it looks (2.00cuft tuned 32hz) and the sub hole is sliiiightly too small (won't fit completely flush). Any ideas on how to make this work? I suppose sanding down the hole till the sub can fit flush. What would be the easiest and safest way to get the sub to fit? I know for sure that I want to use this box, so another box isn't an option. (paid $120 for box) they even said oversized subs may require slight mod to box. I'm a little upset though that the sub won't fit. But any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Buy a sony 12" component sub XSL124P5B and a sony stereo Model #: SON CDXGT320 for around 250$. And then buy four 6x9 pioneer speakers for i dont know how much. Would this system even work ? What would i need? I drive a 2000 f-150 lariot extended cab supercrew. And i am gonna buy at circuit city and i think they have free install near me would this be a total bad idea. i was thinking about music i would play, i mostly play hip-hop and rock so maybe slq? HELP MAE!

Beastly handling, but what i'm about to show you is kind of pathetic. my bro is getting his 2008 charger sys installed. he has the subs 2 spl15 but they will need space so the box will be built into the trunk. what do ya'll think of this price? the total quote was 2200: the amp is a memphis mojo 2500 $1300 the box is $300 yellow top batt $200 it seems like im missing something but the rest is wiring, relay, amp rack, labor, and other miscellaneous. the only thing else included is the shop gives a 3 year warranty on everything they do, that includes the amp. we usually do this stuff ourself but this is out of our span and we he wants it to look pro' something we dont worry about when we do it.

Without sacrificing any storage space, where is a good place for the amp(s) and a subwoofer? What is the best way to approach this? 2. How do I find out what size speakers I can put in the doors? Hi All, After a year of bassless sadness, I am getting to a place to be able to set up another system. Right now, my current research leads me to an SSA ICON (12" or 15" though leaning towards a 12"), FI Q Series, or Sound Qubed. I am also open to other brands or recommendations. My last system was two Sound Qubed HDS 3 10's and a Skar Monoblock 2200w Amplifier. I sold this system but still have the external audio battery to use. what kind of meter do you guys use? i know termlab is the one but....i dont have $650 to spend on a spl meter but i wasnt sure of a meter that gives me a good estimate on what my car is doing without breaking the bank

Alright so im getting ready to start my first project on my car and i had a few questions before i ordered everything. 1. on the Big 3 is it okay to use my alternator case as an engine ground for the chassis to engine ground run? 2 Im planning on getting an amp for my front stage and an amp for the subs. Im confused on how i would run my 1/0g wire from the battery to both of those amps. do i need one or two runs from the battery?

Since we have had a ever changing rep for PB and only short flurries of posting in here, and still no link or recigntion from the home site the Powerbass forum is in danger of staying. I am not going to delete any topics or posts, but I cannot support a company if they are not going to support their forum.
