I have 2 FI sp4s that are dual 2 ohm. Is there anyway that I can hook both of them up to a bc5500 at 1 ohm?

So for the past week i been researching about t-lines and how i can design my own , but so far im just lost . i want to build a t-line for an old rf punch z 10, this is a home project.

I'm trying to get some bass in my 2013 Tahoe and wanted to know what's a good amp to push 3 15 Fi sub's I'm not worried about price because I'm going all out with this.

Before I draw something up with CAD, anyone know where I can get a ground distribution block with one 2/0, four 0/1's and two 4 gauge inputs already made? Thanks, Michael

Is there a way to keep my steering wheel controls with a new head unit in a infinity g37s? Also how difficult will it be and what head unit would let me to do so? (preferably one with navigation)

Does anybody know of any places that sell quality mdf rings? I want some rings made for some 6 3/4 mids. The only reason why I'm not trying to make them is because I don't have the tools. I would hate to buy all the tools needed just to make a ring or too. I know those tools would collect dust. So, I would rather just pay someone because its easier for me.... Yes, I know about the swelling of mdf when wet. I plan on treating them with rubberized undercoating and applying dampener to fully cover the ring.

i have an FI sp4 15 in a 2007 nissan altima and recently i tried moving my box around to fire forward like a sealed off trunk. I put it as close to the cab as i could and put pillows and sheets all around the box stuffing it as well as i could, and it wasnt as loud (sounding) as firing it towards the trunk. i then folded my back seats closed and put my box in the cab on the seats so that it was completely sealed off from the trunk ( i have a small box and plan on getting a bigger better one) i tested it out and it was even quieter, like a lot quieter, it had less pressure on the ears, less airflow and everything. OK, so my amps intermittently shut off then turn back on. sometimes just one of them, sometimes both. if just one, it's almost always my sub amp. does it at high volume, low volume doesn't matter. if I turn the deck off, I sometimes will randomly get a turn on thump through my sub for no apparent reason. sometimes they go into protect, other times they just turn off. thoughts? solutions? apparently I are not so smrt...

and i know it boils down to personal preference, but i haven't heard either of the brands outside of youtube, and it's always very distorted because of the mic. and i actually considered basing my decision on which had the most distortion in the vids, assuming that would be the one that hit the hardest! that was actually a joke. anyway, I've reduced my choices to either soundqubed or sundown. Has anyone ever had a chance to hear a set of Perfect8's? Was just doing a search on glass speaker enclosures as I think a BTL with a TI basket would look obscene in a lexan or glass enclosure, however impractical; and I ran across Perfect8. I found a used JL W7 AE 12" single 3 ohm sub for sale locally and the seller said that it doesn't have the clamp rings which can be found on Ebay for $50. He also said that it has a small scuff on the rubber which I couldn't see in the low quality pics he provided. I have never owned any JL subs. Here are my questions: 1. Is it very hard to install the clamp rings? 2. Is $275 a good price for it? 3. I have a Cadence ZRS-8 amp which is rated at 50 rms @ 4ohm, 750rms @ 2ohm, 1500 rms @ 1 ohm. Will this sub work with my amp?

i have an 03 tahoe and am thinking about mounting my amps under the back seat. I'm interested to see how others have done it. Do you guys just screw right down to the floor to mount the board the amps sit on? Having trouble finding anything other than meades sons vehicle for reference.

I finally have most of my equipment in and now that I'm actually pushing some power this is a question that I can't seem to find a straight answer by searching the net. Is it safe to turn the volume up past the gain limits you've set when listening to music that's recorded at lower volumes? I find that when listening to a lot of music, especially older music, the volume seems to be half of what is recorded these days. Is this part of the "head room" that I've heard everyone speak of? Ok I have a 95 Honda Civic EX, I don't have the big 3 and My alternator only pushes 70 amps, I know I know it sucks. Ok I finished installing my sound system today and am having an issue. Well I just went back out there and found out one of the subs is blown.... So that means (Second) the smell was coming from the subs????? I have 5+ ofc power and ground wires running to the amp, coul the smell be the amp too? or would it just be the subs? No I DID'NT have the gain all the way up at all, just lowpass. So I just bought a matching RE XXX 04-05 motor and I want to either do (2) 12"s or (2) 10"s. I have space in the trunk to provide both enclosures, but a 12" build would suck up every bit of trunk space and I'm afraid of having to built the box in the trunk. I really don't want to do this..My car has 165k on it, and I don't want to have to get a new rear suspension, or struggle with fitting the box through my trunk opening. So I've been trying to sell my gear for sometime.Facebook,Craigslist,etc.I cant get a hit on my offer for shit regardless of my offer.Everyone around here is hung up on Memphis Audio for the most part!an also pioneer,sony,kenwood,etc!!! So we had our Iasca show Saturday, and i ended up doing a 145.8 legal on the dash(Iasca style).
