yeah, so today i stopped by my local audio pawn shop today to see what they would give me for the rims on my truck. and of course, as soon as the owner of the shop walked up to my truck, he seen the big ass magnet of the zcon between the seats and wanted a demo.as usual, i got the " ssa audio?? iv never heard of them" so i cranked her up for him and he was very surprised to hear all that bass form 1 15. he then said he was going to look into ssa for his own personal set-up haha. i just wanted to share another one of my "ssa audio??" stories with you guys

Well I had my first spl reading ever and was fairly happy. My system consists of 4 RE8's in a sealed enclosure that is way to small approximately 1.9 cubic ft total with an OLD RF 800.2. This set up is in my 95 impala ss. Well for my first system I was happy with my 131.8. I have a pic but I am a retard when it comes to posting pics. I was kind of wondering if I was pretty much on par for this setup or am I off a little.

Ok I have a 2013 ford fusion with ford mytouch. Touchscreen is connected to all the electronics in the car so running an aftermarket HU is out of the question because it will affect everything in the car. I have a 15" sp4 and im planning to run it on a sundown 3500. My question is if i use a line driver (audio control, LOC, etc) to connect my amp to my Factory HU will I lose output or my lows by doing this compared to running an aftermarket HU? I just don't want to run an amp and sub if i can't get its full potiential. Thanks!

I will be running a sundown 1500 and a 2 channel (not sure which one yet) off a stock alternator and a powermaster d1200. I already have 4 gauge ran from a previous instal with 80a inline fuse. 1) Can I just leave the existing 4 gauge and use that for the 2 channel and just run an additional fused 1/0 for the Sundown or is there an easier way to go about this? 2)Is it ok to run two fused power wires off the same battery? 3) If I have to get a distribution block, which one should I get? I heard Knukonceptz' are hard to work with. I already have a kicker 1/0 kit on the way but I don't think the distribution block in the kit will fit my needs. Thanks guys

I am new to this forum and I am in need of some input. My goal is an somewhat simple SQ focused system and I feel like I have a good start with the equipment that I have but I would like to know if I am missing anything or I'd there is anything I could add to it that would help me reach my goal. well it went from never doing to doing it alot i will turn it up so everything is shaking then the subs cut of even when my voltage is still around the 13.6v's its pissing me off i have a 160alt two red tops two AA arsenal 15's and a orion 2500d pushing them could my amp be going bad. I just got my Fi Q12 and my Cadence TXA-100d amp yesterday and proceeded to hook it up in my Exploder. It is a 2ohm DVC sub which means that if I wire it in parallel it would be a 1 ohm load, right? When I hooked the amp up, I just removed my old amp and hooked all the wires up to where they are supposed be on the new one. One would think that this shouldn't cause any problems, but it did. I'm thinking about upgrading the "factory stereo" in the '05 E-150 next month as a gift...because what's in there now is laughable. The standard Ford AM/FM radio, not even a tape deck. is it neccesary to upgrade my entire electrical system to run a 3000 watt amp in a cobalt? I have some people telling me I need to upgrade my alternator battery and every wire under the hood. i've ran more power than 3000 watts with a complete stock setup before with no problems. What do you guys think? I can understand the alt and battery upgrade that's a given...

I have an 18 Bl and Saz-1500d. There was a topic about this (not for sure if it was on this site actually), that i planned on referring to when it came down to installing, but i can't seem to find it anywhere. SO here's what i think im supposed to do, and if anyone could add/correct/verify this, please do. Set subsonic, LPf to where i plan to have them regularly. Set bass boost to zero, and gain to minimum. Get a sine test (60 hz? (would a loud 'music' cd work?)) and adjust the gains untill audible clipping occurs, and then back down a little.
