I am very excited to have purchased a mint condition ESX Q 60.4 off of EBAY from Audio Clinic. The amp is in mint condition and is a classic and will be replacing my Atomic Trinity. How good is this amp? When was it built? Damn I am so happy to finally have a ZED amp.

Hi everyone, I need some advice! I recently took out my Zed Gladius w/Burr Brown to send it in for repair. I have the chance to buy a Zed Deuce without the B.Brown upgrade. Would there be a difference in SQ between the two amps? I know the Deuce has more power, so it might be better overall for my comps. I'm running a set of DLS UP6i's with the passive crossovers, which is rated at 150 wrms, 180 wmax. Does the Burr Brown make much of a difference, or will the extra power (without BB) make my comps sound better? I know it'll get louder, but I'm worried about the SQ. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

My son just picked up an ESX q60.4 and a q175.2 yesterday. Has anyone ever had either of these benched? What realistic power do they put out? How about with upgrades?

I know this is not the right place and I just registered finally (So these are not officially listed as for sale with the 25 post forsale requirement) but thought I would just give the heads up that a Q175.2 and Q120.4 are going on Ebay soon. Both were sent in to Zed about a year ago for updates and bench tested. And are 8/10 cosmetically. My Draconia and Deuce are serving me well until the next release (; Since this is the Zed forum I just wanted to mention it here and am not soliciting in any way... I am only mentioning this here as I know this is where the diehard Mantz people are....(; azmcrae.

I made a boo boo. The wire on my remote for the Mini was smashed under a bolt. I was wondering if anyone knew the correct way to repair this coax cable. If any one has one lying around, I would be willing to buy it. Thanks!

The ESX Q 604 was in pristine condition inside and out to say the least. There were no marks on the fins. It was never worked on or repaired based on my assessment of the circuit board and interiors. The screws weren't stripped. I would compare the condition of the amp to a car that was traded in with 5000 miles on it. The amp literally seems to be barely used if at all. I would give it a 9/10 easily. Thank you, I look forward to enjoying the amp for years to come. I am even more impressed with my Optidrive 1000.1D. For a amp rated at 1000 watts it outperformed every bass amp that I had which includes an Atomic AT 1600.1D, Sundown SAZ 1500D, RF T1500-1D, MTX TA …

Like the title says, I bought the last ever brand new Zed Deuce. I'm happy, and sad at the same time. Happy I got the last one ever. Sad that there will be no more. Until the new series that is! I asked Mr. Mantz to sign the bottom of the amp, and ordered it with the burr brown upgrade (seemed only fitting that the last one be the best it could be). This will go with my current Zed Deuce, and the two Gladius' I have. Also, along with the stack of ESX's, and stack of USA series US acoustics, and the one cadence Zed amp i've found. Hopefully I'll have some pics of my Zed powered Suby Outback soon. I'm going to be running an ESX Q475.1 to my subs, an ESX Q175.2 to my mi…

I am about to buy an amp for my pioneer premier ts-c720prs speakers and am looking at the USX 2080 amp that puts out 80 watts rms x 2 @ 4 ohms... It is only $49.50 plus shipping, but they are repaired amps... Does anyone have experience with this amp and if so how good are they? i currently have a us acoustics USA4050 (50x4 @ 4 ohms) running my mids and tweets active, and it just isnt enough power for them. my mids are 8 ohm coils. unless i find a good deal on a big power, small footprint amp, i'll be picking up either a USA4080 (80x4 @ 4, 240x2 4 ohm bridged) or a USA2150 (2x150 @ 4 ohm) to run the mids, and bridge the 4050 to my tweets. how would those 2 options compare efficiency wise? the 4080 bridged would run the 8 ohm mids with a lot more headroom than the 2150 right? how does running 2 amps for my mids/tweets compare in efficiency to running one big amplifier with dual power supplies, along the lines of a DD S4 or a zuki eleets? any zed …

Well I finished my brothers car stereo. I installed 2 ESX amps a 175.2 for his front end and a 275.2 for his subs. All I can say is WOW!!!! We have the setup right now running at flat yet we will be tuning it soon. These amps are just wonderful. I have had some ESX amps in my cars before yet never an install like this. Simple yet very effective.! We have 6.5's in the doors with tweeters as well as 4 incher's in the dash. There are 2 JBL's P1220II at 2 ohms in a sealed box in the rear. The car is a 1997 (i think) VW Golf hatchback. The sound that these amps produce is just crystal clear with enough power to make me and my brother happy. I wonder how it will sound when…

I'm planning a basic active setup for the time being and currently have a USX-2150 (old style, no blue LED) to run my mids with. Looking for something similar to run tweeters (Seas 27TFFNC) and since i love matching i was thinking of something from the same series anything from 75-150 rms/channel. I'm looking into a set of AA mids. Any advice regarding this, should i aim for a little less power on the tweeter or go about the same? i've done it both ways but i'm not familiar with these tweeters so i figured i would look for some input. they are rated at 90w continuous i believe, but i know that means very little. Also it's highly dependent on what happens to be available a…
