ive only ever really ran Rodek amps, ive had a couple 2150's to a couple 15''s and still have a 280 to a couple B-52 12''s and i also have a rodek cross over, now i got a 2300i and would like to know if i can run it down to 2ohm mono, ive had my 280 blow up at least 5 or 6 times and rebuilt, now it will run 2 ohm mono load all day, ive got 2 gauge wire going right to the board and dual fans on it, what an ugly looking beast now but i can hit 145 db on the termpro mic (pad) and ill pop any fuse smaller then 60amp, my cross over needs some work though, im only getting one channel out put, and im no longer in touch with the asian tech that had been servicing my amps before…

I'm thinking about using one of these babies for my next setup but im a little confused about the power ratings... in the two reviews here: http://www.zedaudiocorp.com/Products/leviathan.html the reviewers say it's rated 500w @ 4ohms 2 channels bridged and tested likewise here its says 600w: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/ZED-Audio-Leviathan.html i would like to run my 2 sundown subs at 300/per but im not sure if i should go with 1 or 2 due to power ratings. edit: subs are the SD-1 v2's rated at 400w

Hey guys, I didn't even know this forum was here until someone posted a link elsewhere. Yo Stevo, you should inform your loyal customers of these things. I've had the Zed Audio Draconia for months now and am really happy I bought it. I'll have to take it back over to Zed so Stephen can hear it again with the new Oz Audio speakers. I replaced one of those $1,000 amps that don't tru-ly stand up to their name. The Draconia is very clean with no noise, rarely gets warm, is detailed, and has great control. I've had the bug to go active, just haven't decided between adding a Minilith for the sub, or a BB'd Gladius for the tweeters.

I am using a Dual 1 Ohm Fi Q that I want to wire up to a 2 Ohm load so I can have 1200 watts available, bridging two minilith. So I would wire in series. amp + to sub + amp - to sub - sub + to sub - However I am looking at the manual and it shows the two amps bridged and the picture show the negative terminals are to only connect to each other with the positives terminals going to the amp. amp + to sub amp - to slave amp - (interconnect ground) slave amp + to sub So how am I supposed to wire this? Am I to assume that since it is bridged, that the slave amp + is now the - and hook it up that way? Thanks for the help!

It's an '87 amp. I bought this amp several years ago for ten bucks, along with a buttload of old tapes and some wireless house speakers from my girlfriend's boss. Didn't have a use for it, and sold it to my cousin with a first run RF HE 8" sub. I now have the sub and amp back. Is this amp, in fact, a Zed amp?

Stephen, What do you remember about the Cadence amps you designed in the 90's? Did these amps have anything particular about them (design, technology) that you were trying at the time? Also, did you build the amps or just design them and have Cadence build them? As always, thank you for your time and knowledge.

Your site lists the Minilith and it states that it is the smallest suggesting that there are larger mono amps available. What are the larger amps, what are the specs and what are the prices? Thanks Jerry

Ever since all of the discussion on ECA about Zed's new big six channel amplifier I have been interested. I couldn't seem to find the very first thread but here are the second and third. (from February 2005) second third I participated in the contest to pick the names for the new and large 6 and 4 channel amps. I actually won the six channel naming contest naming it the Leviathan. (no prize claimed yet) Been quite awhile since I have herad any news of how the building and testing of the prototypes are coming along. I realize good things take time, but I'm just curious if there are any developments. The Hammer

Hi everyone, I need some advice! I recently took out my Zed Gladius w/Burr Brown to send it in for repair. I have the chance to buy a Zed Deuce without the B.Brown upgrade. Would there be a difference in SQ between the two amps? I know the Deuce has more power, so it might be better overall for my comps. I'm running a set of DLS UP6i's with the passive crossovers, which is rated at 150 wrms, 180 wmax. Does the Burr Brown make much of a difference, or will the extra power (without BB) make my comps sound better? I know it'll get louder, but I'm worried about the SQ. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.
