As many of you may or may not know, I was involved in a pretty serious collision roughly four weeks ago. After four weeks I basically got fed the hell up and decided to go car shopping in Houston today, looking basically at Crown Vic's, Audi A4's, and Lexus IS's. Little did I know that on the first car lot we came to there be this beautiful unicorn sitting there all by its lonesome. Weren't no way in hell I was leaving the lot without her, and by god I did. Redemption is a wonderful thing...

Elias!: after we finished building it, we hooked the eu700 up to it. it sounded like crap, port noise up the wazoo. i wont trust accelerator pedal any more for ported enclosure designs. luckily the port width was .75" so we stuck a slab of MDF in there to seal it up. originally designed for a single eu700, once we clogged the port up, there was enough a…

Guess who....

First of all, I'd like to thank the staff at SSA and Sundown Audio for putting up with my constant stream of questions and for getting this thing out so fast. After getting this one I'm looking forward to getting the 100.4, it must be a beast too. I can't get over how much heavier the Sundown is than my Hifonics. Based on weight alone I don't know how the Hifonics had enough power supply to it to produce 2kW and I know it wasn't. Thanks again to SSA and Sundown and now for a few pics. Too cool, individually tested before they're shipped!

Well i got tired of smart mouthed cheap laborers digging holes for me so i bought this today. 18 inch and 24 auger bits and a large bucket. was fun using it for the first time today. but i hit a water main on a football field. oops

I've been slowly changing things on my truck inside and out.... well here is the product after 2 years. Next I'm starting on the interior, after that will be forced induction. I'm uploading pics that were taken off of my phone just because it is easier to do.

After much toil yesterday I am finally willing to post some pictures of my car. I spent all day in my buddies heated garage with a case and a half of beer and a buffer . The car was almost orange when I bought it, but I think it looks red now. It is amazing what removing the swirls and oxidation will do. So here are some pics of my ride, this time the exterior only.

well i FINALLY got my box today for my Orion HCCA 12.2. i paid $175. its 2.5CF tuned to 38 and all walls including the port walls are double thick with mdf. i wish i had a meter to meter it becuase id really like to know. id say its just as loud if not louder than the 2 15" kicker L7's if anyone has ever heard them in person. here are a few pics to get started!! Picked this up off of Craigslist, turned out it was a guy I went to school with. I will be putting it in my GF's jeep powering my old ID ctx65cs components. Also bought her a reconed SA 8. I put a "dove" logo on it, she has a similar tattoo. It will be replacing (2) old Infinity reference 12's she bought awhile ago. build log coming soon...
