Well here is what ive been working on the past few months. Finally got all the body work done and had the car painted. Ive got most of the stereo going and just have to figure out what to do on the subwoofer. I dont want to add to much weight to the car. But im working with a MTX 81000D and looking to run either one big 12" or 2 10"s i do believe. I really dont want to spend more than $150 on the subs either..... Any input there wouls be greatly appreciated...... Pictures will be up in just a minute...

I'll start off by saying I had a shop do this for me. I usually don't shy away from installs but my wife works when I don't and I watch my 14 month old when she works so that gives me almost no time to do this. The car is a 1998 m3 with the stock HK system and factory amp. The midranges had been replaced by the PO with some 3.5" infinity’s. After listening to a set of HSK 3 ways and looking at the price I decided to go with the cheaper ESK 3 ways. The 163L comes with a higher excursion 6.5" (Higher than their normal ESK line), a 4" mid range and 3/4" tweeter. Linky to Hertz, which would replace the factory 5.25 in the kick, 3" infinity and factory 1" in the door…

Got her in today, this is the biggest 4 channel amp Maxxsonics makes I believe. 4x250w @ 1ohm. Or 2x500w bridged! This thing retails $1300 and isn't a cheap amp by any means! I also wanted to play with the close up on my camera some..so thats why so many pics Cant wait to hear this thing!!

sorry, no outside pics. it's an 2006 h1 black alpha station wagon..lol.. and away we go....this is mostly another shops gear. the owner spent 6 grand with them, got the head unit in it's shitty install, 3 pairs of boston acoustic 5.25 in factory locations, a jl 12w7 in the recommended enclosure that looked like a prefab and the alpine pdx series amps stacked under the rear seat. what you are about to see is all of our work save the head unit install..... the head unit...just basic stuff here...an eclipse double din with dvd navigation, sirius stellite and that's pretty much it..lol... the front monitor and clarion source switch,. we decided tjhis looked too much like a …

had this set of 18" Enkei's laying around the storage shed. They where on the MazdaSpeed, but since thats gone, I thought what the hell, and put them on the hyundai. The stock wheels on the truck where 18"'s so I just swapped the tires on the chromes wheels and..wahlah, done. These are the smallest chrome wheels i've ever owned as well. I'll keep these on untill I buy a set of 22s.

I am in need of a logo for out new team, the only issue I am having it finding a badass font that looks good but can still be printed onto vinyl for window stickers. I need four letters, LXII , that's it. If someone can do this for I would be MUCH appreciative. As in Roman numerals for the number 62.

ive been thinking about why i wanted a truck that gets 18mph, isnt even really quick, just funn on buttery roads because of the 4.10 locker in the rear, and worse of all is hard to make out in. Well getting her ready for prom i figured it out. I did a full detail exvept for tire stuff. Vacumed, Wax, armoralled the interior, wcrubbed every nook and cranny of the wheels, cleanned the windows inside and out, and to wax it i parked her under the tree in the front yard. Comming back from dinner i realized it, she looks so damn good to me in the cool light of sundown.

anyways!(copy & pasted) obviously they are not for everyone. i like them though. blends well with the car to me. before i put the rims on i measured all around the height of the car to from where the Jacking pioints are. after i put them on there was a 3/4" lift all the way around. so it really needs a drop. i'll get coilovers eventually but not now. i can live w/o them for the time being. oh yeah and my car is dirty. needs a wash. i should really clay bar it though.

So I toyed around with the idea of getting an outlaw receiver, or one of their preamps or some other pre-amp amp combo and it started to look expensive. So I wound up buying a $3,000 receiver...but I only paid 1,000. Sweet, its upgradable via computer, it does more things that I'll ever figure out, it weighs 60 pounds, has two subwoofer outs, and got good reveiws (like that means anything). It might not do everything as well as components but its likely I just bought plenty of EQ, a decent amp, a preamp, a headphone amp (it has dolby headphone) and lots of buttons and lights. Okay that eliminated the adcom stuff I just bought but I might hold onto the amp to run a sub. …

So, I got bored and decided to make a lamp out of some old speaker parts I had sitting around. The components used are the soft parts from an RE MT that Nikuk mailed to me out of the blue nearly 5 years ago, and a basket and vc former from a Next 6.5" speaker. I used the basket as a base for the lamp and epoxy'd it to the bottom of the former of the MT softparts, which serves as the main body of the lamp. I used the former from the Next speaker to fill the gap between the MT dustcap and the bottom of the lamp fixture. The end result; Still need to decide what I want to do for a lamp shade. Thought about trying to make one out of speakers grills or the like. But I fi…

ramos helped me with the floor molds, but by now he should be on his way to florida. I figure if they don't come out well i'll just redo them. The volume is a lot closer than it looks in the pic, but they are still a bit off. Oh well :-D
