So some of you advanced users may know... or maybe even the amateurs too ... I'm trying to dig through my photos to see the metadata of them .. Basically I'm looking to find the most common focal length I happen to use my 16-80mm lens ... I want a prime and they are not so expensive but I'm torn between 35mm and 50mm which are both 1.8... On my camera those lens translate into roughly 52mm and 75mm since it's a cropped sensor. NOW .. understanding that, would it be better to use the 35mm as a go to lens for indoor shooting and nice close-ups because of the bokeh affect those lenses posses ... From what I've read the Sony 50mm 1.8 lens is apparently sharper than the 35mm a…

My wife and I drove to Pheonix this past Sunday to pick up a rescue Rottweiler Puppy. (UPDATE 20100819 She is actually Shepard Lab mix not rott. Finally updating this) She was estimated at 9 weeks old and if her size now is any indication she is going to be a monster. I was able to pass her as a Labrador/German Shepard mix. On to the Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. well after seeing Sec's explorer with his recent smoked tails and having someone mention the use of VHT nite shade got me into thinking. with as cheap as people say it is i figured well why not take a shot at it? plus, i really really needed something to do! so i went on for a few days and researched, researched, and well researched even more. a lot of users on other forums have used VHT nite shade with good results. so finding out that a 7oz can of the stuff was only 9 bucks and usually 2 cans is what is needed for most tail lights so i went ahead and ordered 3 just to be safe. also most people say that the tinting process takes usually 4-6 hours, most of which is waitin…

First thing I see when getting out of the cab: Stupid art institute. I hate art, well at least the painting side. Here are the only cool views I found short of the ancient Chinese/Japanese artifacts which were so poorly lit, I could not photograph. And Finally, the game. NOTE to self, do not let girlfriend take pictures ever again. I don't know how, but I had her take some awesome shots of me infront of US Cellular Field, and they never made it to the memory card. I was repping the SSA shirt hardcore! See that red banner to the left and under the Pontiac billboard? THere's a new G6 in there and that banner reads, "hit it, win it." Nobody hit it. THE NUMB…

So as some people know, my other car was totaled out due to my accident. I finally got all my insurance money and money from the party at fault. So I picked up a 2006 Cadillac DTS and put 22s on it today. Everything is fully paid off on the vehicle and wheels. Anyway, on to the part everyone wants to see. Pics. I just have one pic for now. Snapped it as I was walking into my apartment. I'll grab a few more shots of the interior in a bit. I plan on putting all my previous equipment in this car. I just need to find enough time off work to actually install the gear. From the looks of it, the wiring is going to be a pain in the ass but I'll have to see.
