I'm in search of some capacitors and after exhausting local stores I need to turn to the internet to find what I need. I would like to know where is a reputable place to get components at?? I have found a couple places that have what I need and dont have a minimum order amount. Has anybody dealt with http://digikey.com/ or http://www.mouser.com/ ?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the old school ssa folks know me pretty well and I've been working on a project for while now called Alchemy Computers. so i have a few lap tops and a few desk tops that use, one in my rig 2 at my house and 4 at my office, im looking for a reliabe cheap external hard drive, i have never used one, and never owned one, so i have little clue on what im looking for when buying, i have been shopping on ebay, if anyone can shed some light on a brand or anything it would be most helpful. thanks!

i bought a new used computer today .. its a emachine i know i know.. but i got it cheap. so i brought it home hooked it up.. and was able to surf the net. but it had 7 users on it and full of trash, so i clicked around untill i found away to "goback" and it took off all the user and made it almost a new PC. but. now i cant get on the internet. i called my ISP and they told me its my eithernet card, but it was working fine an hour ago, so maybe some help on setting and what not? and im used to XP. and vista is blowing my mind.. anyone know how to reboot vista to a fresh copy, "system restore "? thanks guys.

I have been wanting to buy a new desktop for a while now. I am not a gamer. Other than internet browsing I use numerous photo editing software packages including CS5. 1TB of internal memory is a must. I already have a monitor that I am happy with. I would like to stay under $500. I have been looking at these two. Looking for a decent laptop for under $650 ($500 or less would be ideal) and I'm laptop dumb. I don't do any gaming. I don't download movies/music or do any video editing. Just needs to be used for basic uses......Microsoft Office, internet (I'm going to purchase a wireless router aswell), and eventually I want to get the software and hardware for a MLS measurement system. So processor, RAM and HDD don't need to be industry leading, but I also don't want something that will overly limit future uses. i downloaded it and it wouldn't let me connect to the net. It kept sayin i had a loss of conectivity. And when i clicked on the repair button it wouldn't work and it said contact my network advisor. ?????

Okay im looking to get a HDTV for my room and i kinda want a cheap one because im tight on cash and i have other stuff i want to buy. Anyways how does this one look? TV Don't know too much about TV's but this one will fit where i want to mount it on my wall and its around what i want to spend.

i picked up an older dell, desk top.. and much to my dismay i have 2 problems that are beating me. 1 my video driver is not working? im stuck in 16 bit and 640x480 or some crap. 2 my onboard sound card is not working? no sound.. no adjustment, when i go to my driver it wont even let me select anything. dell demention 2400 ep 1st editon i think... i have done as many updates and windows will allow. any help would be great! thanks guys!

Excellent freaking game! All the lovelies of the Gran Turismos series, but with a very difficult gameplay. It's nice a challenging, but fun at the same time! If you like bikes and Gran Turismo, I suggest picking this game up. Beware though, you cannot use any techniques used in the GT series. The bikes are a total different monster and handle nothing like cars. It's amazing how they can convey this through a video game.

does anyone know of any website that allows people to buy and download HD movies?

OK, recently, somehow, I got links on my desk top that I did not put there. (some travel, poker, printer crrtridge, bingo, casino, web hosting...) I can not move these icons. When I right click on them I don't get a option menu either so I can't delete then that way. Now I have noticed that when I sit down at my computer all my desk top icons are rearranged. Can someone explain what's going on? I run Norton weekly, I am fire walled and use 2 different pop-up blockers. I have no idea how this happened. Nothing new in my start menu and also nothing new in my add/remove programs file. Help!!!! I'm going crazy!!!!

I'm using Mozilla Firefox. And it's only on this forum...any other webpage or forum and it works perfectly. But on this forum, anybody with large avatars and sigs (like mrray or Eldorado) causes the page to scroll very slowly (actually freezes up the browser for a few seconds) and the loading is very slow aswell. Any fix to this? Any settings I need to change in Firefox? Any other firefox users experiencing the same thing?

well the other day i ran a virus scan and i had a crap load of trojans on my comp...got all them fixed....then i d/led a good spyware program cause i had this message on my computer saying windows detected spyware and recomended i d/l something for it....so i did....well today i woke up to a picture on my desktop saying something along the lines of the little pop up i was getting about the spyware yesterday and am unable to change the pic on my desktop also im unable to use the ctrl alt del function...says its been disabled by the admin....however i am the admin of the computer...... im running win xp so u know.....thinking of restoring to a point a few days back....think…
