Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

ill be having a termlab booth for the car show.. no points no awards just fun runs. you can pre regester for 10 bucks if you want to park inside with the SPL cars. or 25 at the gate. or you can pay for runs,. come in and do your run then park back out side the gates... or you can come enjoy the cook off, car show, glow off SPL runs. beer shopping booths live music and live entertainment let me know if you want to pre regester ... i need to get a head count of pre.. and a quess of how many maybes for the day that want to park and play INSIDE the gates. thanks guys.

Team Deadly Hertz and Elite Auto Image are hosting a big time SUMMER SLAM at Elites shop.This will be a 1x IASCA event also a 3x NSPL event. There will be nice trophies, big raffles, food, demos, loud vehicles, friendly competition and LOTS OF BASS!!! Anyone else plan on attending this event? It's in Durant Oklahoma this weekend. This is supposedly a large show with lots of stuff going on, they will have a MECA competition, hopping contest, lots and lots of classes of show cars/trucks/bicycles, vendors, etc. I'll be there tomorrow (Saturday) and am entering my brother's Caliber in the spl competition. Mainly for shits n giggles and to see how much he gained by switching from a pair of RE SRx 12s to a pair of Skar VVX-12s, adding a DC230a alt and a Kinetik 1400 in back and wiring down from 4 to 1 ohm. Anyone have any suggestions on what we should play in the lanes? I've tried to get him to burp with a tone but he wants…

Fees are as follows: SQC - $20 for members / $25 for nonmember / IdBL & Bassboxing will be $20 each or both for $30. $5 for re-runs limit of 2. Well I got this idea from a guy who recently posted in the forums. Since I never been a competitor, I would like to be informed on what are the do's and dont's in competitions. Things like charging up the batteries, not use the subs the same day of the competition etc. Hopefully this will be useful for some of us who have never competed! How do YOU guys prepare?

GTG Date: Saturday 6/4/11 6 pm or so. As some of you know, my daughter required some extra attention after she was born and we ended up staying in the hospital for 3 weeks with her. While we were there, we were treated so well and regularly given little gifts to make the circumstances a little brighter. I have wanted to do something to give back in some way for all that was done for my little girl ever since, so here is what I came up with. Southwest Audiofest makes its second annual migation to the cooler cooler climates and gorgeous vistas in Prescott Valley, AZ. The first of these 4 shows will be held on Saturday, June 11th at Audio Adrenaline, located at 2517 Great Western, Suite P, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314. The other shows are scheduled for the same venue on Saturday, July 9th, and Saturday, August 13th.
