I'm getting sort of a loud bass note when the amplifier turns on and I was wondering what could be the problem. It was a drop in install since I had an amp installed before this already and there was no loud turn ons with the other amplifier. Also, since I put the MD2 in, I'm getting a lot of noise through my speakers at low volumes. The noises go along with how my engine works (i speed up, noise pitch gets higher). The grounds are the same as I had before and I never had this problem, so does anyone know how to fix this or the loud turn on?

I Have A MLT setup and I want to know the advantages of this setup.I have two md3d going to two 13w7's. Under this setup I have one md3d going to my subs and the other is a slave amp.The advantage I have with this setup is I only have to play with one gain on the amp which is good and also when I had played with both amps before I have to make sure that both amps were even on the gain so the subs would move the same. Now with the new setup the subs are more even when they are under excursion so better sound. It seems that the subs hit harder and cleaner. :bigclap:

  8. ok guys here is the deal i have 4 us amps i am going to be installing in my jeep and i need to know what size fuse to put on them i have (1) 4300X (1) 4260 (2) PT-800 what i would like is the fuse ratings for all of them and a suggestion of what size fuse i should use on my power wire to all 4 amps. i am pretty sure the fuse rating on the 4300X is 60Amps I plan on just adding all the fuse ratings up and getting a fuse about that size. thanks -=ScottY=-

Hey guys, i've got an MD22 amplifier, and was wondering if it was capable of handling loads down at 1.33 ohms or lower without compromising the internals (3x 4-ohm components / channel / parallel)? I Realize that it'll void the warranty, but is it safe to run at these loads?

I have two of the 2004 model MD2D amps and was wondering if they were strappable or if it was a god idea to do so? I'm planning on running them on two Orion H2 15's with dual 4 ohm coils. Would i be safer to just run each amp to a single sub?

I must voice my happieness!! My Amp search is all done and Mmmm it sounds so so good lol! Lets hope. I have 2 of these amps and 2 are still on the way. Here is what I ended up with... US Amps USA-50 for Tweeters US Amps USA-400x For 5.25's Midrange US Amps USA-600x for 8" Midbass US Amps USA-300x For 12" subwoofer I was able to get all the X series amps in Chrome so they will all match. The USA-50 is older and did not come in Chrome, so its purple. I plan to install circuit board up, so it should not be that big of a deal. Sadly this is a very extensive install so It may not be till Spring till I can get it all done lol! It would be cool if I could find some ins…

OK I have a old USA-3000 it still works however there are four burned up resistors right by the power supply they are M106 M107 M116 and M117 they are light blue and have five lines on them Red Gold Green Purple and Yellow I looked at the amp guts site and every amp that us amps ever made while they were in Florida had this resistor in them. Does anyone know why they are blown and if I can just replace them and not have to replace something else as well? also does anyone know what value these resistors are so I can buy new ones?
