US AMPS

OK I have a old USA-3000 it still works however there are four burned up resistors right by the power supply they are M106 M107 M116 and M117 they are light blue and have five lines on them Red Gold Green Purple and Yellow I looked at the amp guts site and every amp that us amps ever made while they were in Florida had this resistor in them. Does anyone know why they are blown and if I can just replace them and not have to replace something else as well? also does anyone know what value these resistors are so I can buy new ones?

To get the best sound what is the difference of gain from 15 HZ to 40Hz. Putting the gains clockwise would be the best choice right, closer towards 40 hz. Do to the type of of install I have it is very difficult to work on my gains.My space is limited to work with.

What's the bigges guage I can shove into the MD2's outputs with out having to trim the wires? I gotta know when I go buy power...err speaker wire.

will md3d's work on a 16v system? do they need to be modded? please let me know, running 4 of them to 8 RE 15's in an astro van, upgrading battery/electrical system and would be nice to know for planning. Thanks! Greg

I have 2 of them strapped powering my AQ HD3 15's. I am running them off of a Kenwood KDC-X891 HU. The only problem I am having is when I start my truck I get noise through my subwoofers it is more audible when I first start my truck and when the HU is loading the CD. Then it tones down a little bit once the cd starts to play I can not hear the noise anymore because my subs are playing the music, but then when I turn my truck off I have a turn off thump. Is this something to do with the HU or the amps? I did have 2 Viper 1200's strapped before the MD3's and I was running an Eclipse CD5435 HU and I did not have any turn on or turn off noise. Has anyone ever had or heard a modded US Amp? I am speaking to a guy who says he upgrades US Amps and when I asked he said he makes them sound clearer. Any idea what he means?

I have 2 US Amps Md3's strapped. My question is will both of the amps be putting out AC Voltage or just the master? I went out there today and on music my master was putting out AC volts but my slave was not putting out any AC volts. Both of my subs work and they are wired seperate so both amps are working but the slave is not reading any AC voltage.

Have 4 fresh Usa 2000's that have never seen power. Going to run one one my FI Bl 15 in my 2001 Nissan Maxima with aftermarket battery and stock alt. I wont be killing this setup but will it not kill my system until I get an 130Amp alt for it...And possibly a second battery if I need to??? Again, I wont be pushing it way too hard but ive heard these amps draw alot of current.

Simple question, What is the input sensitivity on the Merlin series amps? I searched the US Amps website but couldnt find the info. I'm contemplating on buying an MD21 to power a pair of components, just curious what their input sensitivity is.

ok as the title states i am wondering if the md3d is .5 ohm stable because i going to be running 2 12" SX which is dv2 so my ohm choices are .5,2,8. and the electrical system i have is this, 200ish EA alt, 34/78 yellow top, 2 hc2400 and is all wiried with 1/0 guage wire, and also 1/0 big 3.

In an industry where people are afraid to deal with the small guys because they always feel liek they are vulnerable and customer service will not be consistent I am glad to say that US amps is not a company you have to think twice about when buying your next amp. I had a problem with my md2..... sent it back in for warranty, received a call from Greg immediately stating that they were waiting for parts from their suppliers and that there may be a slight delay in the repair of my amplifier. Since they were proffessional about it I told them to just keep me posted and I would be patient. A very short time had passed when i received phone calls from Greg and Hector stating…

OK I have a old USA-3000 I am looking for any info I can get on the SAT LINK I have the software but need to know more about the wire or interface that connects the amp to my lap top. Also I am looking for a copy of the manual for the 3000 I need a Badge (OLD SCHOOL STYLE) and the original style bass knob. I also need to know what Resisters were used in the US AMPS USA model the little blue ones that are right next to the GATE RAIL'S (Every US AMP has these Resisters) Yellow,Purple,Green,Gold,Red are the 5 strips and the part is lite blue and very small. Hi I am very happy with all my Chrome US Amps USA series. However I am changing my system, and now need a better Midbass amp. I am looking at the Us Amps Merlin MD23 but I do not see anything other then specs written about it anywhere! Has anyone used it, and can give me your thoughts? I need a amp that does 300 Watts @ 4 ohm X2 and has a high pass crossover that can cross at 60-65Hz. The MD23 fits that perfectly. Thanks.

So an unforeseeable incident happened to my Md.1d a little over a week ago.... I contacted Jeremy (flakko) about the issue and he helped me track down the problem to see the proper course of action... i called UsAmps tech Greg Carlos... Presented my problem and his technical knowledge was spot on and knew immediately what the issue was....He was courteous and very insightful.....I was transfered to the front office to Holly to get a RA number to send my amp in..... Holly was really nice and very receptive to my issue.... I had no problems getting the RA number and got to laugh a bit at her attempt to pronounce some of the streets names here in Hawaii.....
