US AMPS

I want to buy US AMPS and RE AUDIO products for my car It is very difficult to obtain here (Arg.), because the prices in the commerce are very high by the taxes. I want to buy products abroad and to bring them by shipment. can somebody help me? thank you very much

In an industry where people are afraid to deal with the small guys because they always feel liek they are vulnerable and customer service will not be consistent I am glad to say that US amps is not a company you have to think twice about when buying your next amp. I had a problem with my md2..... sent it back in for warranty, received a call from Greg immediately stating that they were waiting for parts from their suppliers and that there may be a slight delay in the repair of my amplifier. Since they were proffessional about it I told them to just keep me posted and I would be patient. A very short time had passed when i received phone calls from Greg and Hector stating…

Hi I am very happy with all my Chrome US Amps USA series. However I am changing my system, and now need a better Midbass amp. I am looking at the Us Amps Merlin MD23 but I do not see anything other then specs written about it anywhere! Has anyone used it, and can give me your thoughts? I need a amp that does 300 Watts @ 4 ohm X2 and has a high pass crossover that can cross at 60-65Hz. The MD23 fits that perfectly. Thanks.

So an unforeseeable incident happened to my Md.1d a little over a week ago.... I contacted Jeremy (flakko) about the issue and he helped me track down the problem to see the proper course of action... i called UsAmps tech Greg Carlos... Presented my problem and his technical knowledge was spot on and knew immediately what the issue was....He was courteous and very insightful.....I was transfered to the front office to Holly to get a RA number to send my amp in..... Holly was really nice and very receptive to my issue.... I had no problems getting the RA number and got to laugh a bit at her attempt to pronounce some of the streets names here in Hawaii..... So i contact Jrl…

i was just wondering can the old 1999 us amps 400 be modified to do 1200 @1ohm bridged instead of its factory setting of 1200@2ohm bridged? just curious. i have read about people having amps modified and was wondering about this one. thanks for any info.

hi, i am going to be getting a XT-1600.4 in a month or so and i am going to be putting it in a false floor and i notice that it has fins and i am wondering are they for looks or do they serve as the heat sink like jl's. because i need to know where to focus the fans on since it will have pexiglass over it but i will try to make the flase floor as breathable as possable. and does it make 180 at 2 ohm right. and also i saw that the input goes up to 6 volt but i was planing on using a line driver because i dont want to spend alot of getting longer rca's/ and most line drivers arre atleast 8 volts

What's the bigges guage I can shove into the MD2's outputs with out having to trim the wires? I gotta know when I go buy power...err speaker wire.

Sorry if its a dumb one...Back in the days i had a usa amp black with the clear bottom i heard they stop making them?But i see there still are and now they make subs im interested in a subwoofer RE AUDIO SX12D2 12" 2000w problem is i never heard them i see a few you tube vid but the cone does not look the same.I never heard of them so im thinking bout gettin rid of my american bass crap and get me one of these i would say 2 but my maxima wil fall apart..lol

Has anyone benched one yet to see how much power they put out? I am wanting to know how much continuous power they have been tested to put out at a 1 ohm load, before clipping, at what voltage did it put out that power, what THD, etc. I just want to hear from some people that have actually tested them

Hi guys, last weekend I picked up 2 of the US Amps AX1000 (for now), and I'm using them to run (3) 2 ohm Cadence Wild Beast subs (for now). How do you strap the amps together without using the magic "MLT" box? Under the plexiglass, I can see the "master/slave" switches for both channels, but I'm a little leary doing anything to the circuit board without some instruction. Down the road, I'm planning on adding at least 2 more AX1000's and one more sub, but this current set up will get me thru the week. Thanks, in advance

Okay, i just picked up a couple oldschool USA-400's (the 24" long ones) and im wondering what the real power ratings of these things are. ive been getting alot of mixed answers, and google isnt cutting it. of course ive come up with the 1200x1 at 2 ohms, as per manual. But ive been reading that these amps put out WAY MORE than this. unregulated power = 10 percent gain in each volt about. and other various gains. ive seen 1600-1800w at 2 ohms... 2kw+ .. amp stable to 1/2 ohm. etc.. but i dont even know what's what anymore. what is the real deal on these amps? ie: whats the benched performance of these things? i may run a pair of subs at a half ohm... or stick with t…

I was wondering if md 23's tend to run hot?? I have one running bridged @ 4 ohms barley pushing it at all and it gets really hot to the touch. Just wondered if anybody else has had this problem?? Thanks

Just trying to get my power down. I know the MD2 are rated at 1500, but push closer to 1800. Do the MD1 push much more than 1200. I am trying to decide if MD1 is enough
