US AMPS

Would anyone on the forum have suggestions regarding fair market value for the following US Amps USA 2000x? I recently purchased a new set of Definitive home audio speakers and am looking to possibly trade rid my old set to a friend for the US Amps USA 2000x pictured below. I've been out of the car audio loop for quite some time and appreciate your feedback. The amp appears to be significantly smaller than the versions I've come across while researching online. There's a white label on the circuit board with the number 47383 on it. Thanks-Chris

is there such a thing as a us amps de500---ive heard of the de1000 before and i think i remember somebody selling de500's on ebay years back but they claimed they were prototypes for south america or something,,anyways i have a chance to buy it,,should i ??

I am just wondering how the new XT series and VLX series amps are compared to some of the amps from the past. I am looking at these amps and they are a steal for the power they claim to put out and the efficiency they claim. If someone could tell me how they are now I would greatly appreciate it and also if someone could explain to me what some of the differences are between the VLX and XT series amps are because spec. wise they look very similar but their is a $100 price difference.

I got 2 12 re se 12's in my house and one needs a complete recone and the other needs some ne tinsel leads(snapped). So any ways i talked to greg about three days ago and might be getting the recone in about a month just wanted to post some pics. So a little history about the subs my cousin had these i bought them off of hime with the leads snapped. My cousin used his epicenter past it limits and he blew one of the coils on one sub and it is riped from one side of the cone, the other sub is good but the lead snapped so i put something temporarily for the sub but i want the ripped sub reconed and the other to get the leads fixed and just thought i would let greg know. My cousin has a MD2D that he got earlier this year on his 4 12s and was wondering if he added another MD2D or MD3D could he strap it with his pre-existing MD2D? If so does he need some thing that I heard about a few years ago called MLT or does he just need another set of RCA jacks or something or is it even possible to begin with?

I would like to represent this company as I compete. The cool thing I enjoy about competing is there are always a lot of guys around the trunk when I pop it to get metered in the lane. hi folks i have this amp since 99 and has been through various installs, but i never knew the tru output of this beast. it is rated at 1200w @12.8 i think but i have recently found that the power is unregulated so i guess the more power you have to feed it the more watts you get. anyone know the the tru power in numbers?

But a suggestion - the pinned topics are the 2007 models? there is a 2009 model thread and we are already into the 2010 range (my local dealer has the gen2 xt v3 coming next week) maybe turn the pinned thread into a specs round up with all the models by release date? alright so the amp i originaly wanted has been discontinued, i found it but i think i will go with a good company instead. i am now torn between US, and Sundown. it basically comes down to the price and where i can find it. since this is the US Amp section i thought i would ask you guys. whats the price on the US MD-2D? and what are some internet dealers?

Flakko answered all questions and of course made me a SMOKIN deal on some Merlin amps....... I haven't owned US since 97' and I was happy then so expect i'll be happy now. I I would though like to ask for any reviews of the MD22 & MD2 amps or the others as well. Anyone actually looked at the ouput with a scope to determine, with adequite power supply to amp, where they start to clip at? Any info wold be nice I only found one thig on google . I don't frequent here as much as ECA and SD but I will now have to come here alot more often!.

Hey i just got 2 new RE REX12 for my little home audio setup. These things sound very good for the 120 i spent on both. And there only off of like 350 wrms. Really like how they look too. Good job US amps/ Re Audio. And they came with some cool stickers.

i heard my 1st re sub the other day. it was the 18 xxx from 2007 i believe and it was running off a saz3500 in a 7.5 cube ft box. i must say im glad that i wasnt the one that paid for it. imo big disappointment. the guy that owned it actually took it out and put his set of 12inch rockford p2s back in his car then put the sub on craigslist for half of what he paid for it 2 days after buying it
