Damn! So I was bored and did some research on where i got my RE's 3+ years ago. So I have heard the cars and everything #1 dealer for sho! I'm pretty sure most people might know it, from my understanding I think RE started right their...wel some pics.

Hi, new member here. I'm just curious about the guy on ebay (chassis_inc) that's always selling new US Amps. Was he affiliated with the old company and/or bought the old stock or something? Are these legit old school models? I have another question but I'll ask that at another time. Thanks, Kelly

Hello All, I recently acquired a blown XXX 18" and am going to get it re-coned. I have not talked to their tech yet, but I believe I can do either 1 ohm or 2 ohm DVC. I am running a MD2 (thanks Flakko, I love it) and was wondering what configuration you would choose, .5 ohms or 1 ohm? Thanks for the input. -Rich

well, i talked to JR today, and i got some cool news. along with a cosmetic makeover the new MD1 MD2 and MD3 are all class DE like the AX's, as well as strappable (finally) the XT2000D and the XT4000D both have 20% more output and are using 110v (i think) power supplies instead of the original 70v next time i stop by usamps ill try to snap some more pix of the new Merlin sexiness. more updates to come as they show up.

can someone tell if these can be bought online anywhere? also can are these .7 ohm stable and finally what kinda actualy power dot hey put out? take in?

hi, i have access to 3 systems (1) is four 10" rf p3 on a 2000rms hifonics brutus (2) is 2 12" alpine type r on a 2000rms hifonics brutus (3) is a re xxx on a 2000rms hifonics brutus now i bought a new re mx from a guy, its dual 2 and the sub was wired parallel, when i hooked it up to any of the 3 systems above the amp gets really hot like its on fire after like 4 songs. another thing is with the mx hooked up it seems to draw alot more current than any of the above subs when hooked up to the amp, after the 4 songs when the amp gets so hott u can smell the heat …

I just read a thread on sounddomain.com in the amplifier forum that u.s. amps is doing a recall on all 2005 ax amps. Is this true and if so why? Say it ain't so joe.

Hi, I'm from Germany and I have bought an US Amps Merlin MD-23 Amp on Ebay earlier this year. I never opened it because I didn't have time to work on my car. Today I finally wanted to look inside my new Amp and I was shocked. On the Packaging Box and the Chassis it says MD-23 but on the Board it says MD-22. So I guess I was deceived by the Ebay seller. But I wanted to be sure, so is there any attribute that could tell for sure which Amp I do have here? I'm looking forward to any reply you can give me =) Greets Eric

Hey guys just got myself a ax-5600 us amp, and when connected i am getting slight alt noise, what can i do to get rid of the noise. My setup is as follows 880prs hu, HD-62 cdt components (front)and Cl-60 coxial (rear) with a 12" alpine type r in sealed box. Used 4g for power and ground and phoenix gold zero point rca's. Also can someone explain the crossover in the amp, when i cross @ 50hz on deck for sub and 50hz in amp i get no bass. i have to set d xover in the amp midway to get fairly enough bass. How does the 50hz to 500hz on the amp work. thanks.

What does this beastly amp truly put out? My bro has one and that thing blows subs like nobodys business, ones rated for 4000+ watts in the right box, not being turned up too much or anything. There is no way it's only 2000 watts! Help please!

So against my better judgement I bought a used US-AMPS DE-3000 off of ebay. The seller had over 200 positive feedbacks and no negs, and the price was too good to pass up; and the seller was NOT the guy-who-might-be-milo in the thread below. When I got it and hooked it up, it belched white smoke before I even put a load on it. One of the capacitors inside actually caught on fire, without blowing the fuse I was using to protect the amp, which was a first for me. Anyway, is there any easy way to look at the components used and verify that it was an original US-amps product? Okay looking into the US AMPS MD 2D. I see that it does 1500w at 1 ohm. I need it to power 2 10" Fi SSDs. Will the MD 2D actually produce 1500w at 1 ohm?

It just fried and I wanna know where and how much it would cost to get it repaired. I just PM'd flakko about it and I hope theres a warranty that comes with it. but if not im going to have to cough up the cash and get it fixed.

I just got a 4000X and i was wondering if anyone has tested to see what type of power this thing is putting out. One thing i wasn't expecting, its smaller then my 2000X, hope thats not a sign that im going to be disapointed in its performence Any info you guys got on this amp would help Thanks,

Ive heard that USAMPS are sub drivers rather than musical amps. By musical I mean stuff that would drive high end components. I use my USAMPS for everything as I am impressed by the formidable power and low distortion. How good are US AMPS at playing the upper frequencies compared to brands like sinfoni and brax? Are there NOTICABLE differences between the tube series and regular AB US AMPS? J

Are the us amp 2000 series amps still being made? since the move, i've heard bad things about their new products..

I've heard some people give ikesound positive reviews, so I am wondering if they are really selling the MD.3D for $388 or if it is too good to be true. I would call them, but they aren't open until monday.

i heard my 1st re sub the other day. it was the 18 xxx from 2007 i believe and it was running off a saz3500 in a 7.5 cube ft box. i must say im glad that i wasnt the one that paid for it. imo big disappointment. the guy that owned it actually took it out and put his set of 12inch rockford p2s back in his car then put the sub on craigslist for half of what he paid for it 2 days after buying it
