Hey guys... I have the U.S.Amps 4360 tube amp, and have had nothing but problems with it. The channels keep distorting, and cutting out. This may be because of my custom mount, not just the amp. I have it mounted next to 2 Memphis LVS 15's and mounted sideways I would like to try something else, maybe the 4300X. What would you recommend I try? If I went for something like the IS line would that be moving WAY down? or would something like the 4300X suit me better? I have never had another amp other than the 4360, so the tube is ll I have heard. Flakko can you contact me in some way for prices? thanks~!

Since there isnt a distributor in Canada anymore I'm wondering if there are going to be any dealers in Canada. Maybe US Amps/RE is looking for someone to take over for their Canadian distributions Might be better if they were to answer emails. Does anyone know anything about any of this?

Are the amps that were shown at CES going to be released? Namely the merlins that are going into the old school looking sinks. I've been holding off purchasing my amp because I'd like to get one of the new merlins when it comes out to power my substage

okay this will be the official USAmps picture thread.... you got some pictures? post em here is some news: * New and improved AX Line * Unveiling of a 6 ft. long amplifier (note: upon further questioning, this "amp" at the show is just a giant heat sink, showing the possibility of the Multiple link technology. this is NOT an actual amplifier, just a chassis) Larry, you were right. * Brand new Xterminator Line to replace the IS * USamps drivers and comp sets (TB released in the future) thats all i could think of so far. im going to get some in depth info tomorrow. pix from Djjdap courtesy of 95stroked1500: the new Xterminator line to replace the I/S WOOT! Does anyone here speak to Flakko/Jeremy on a regular basis? I've been trying to follow up (leaving voicemails and PM's) about my MD2D that I sent in back in May '07 but received a pretty bad conditioned amp in return, so I want to see where the DHL claim is at. Sorry for airring out some of the details but I'm pretty upset at how long this is taking and would like to see if there's a more direct way to contact him other than his cell. If anyone can give me some info or point me in the right direction, please do. Thanks, Steve

last night i was working on my system and i was hooking speaker wire to the right terminals. the amp is a I/S2200. there was a sub hooked up to the left terminal. while screwing in the first of the screws, the sub moved really weird and sparks flew off the amp. then the amp started smoking, i shut my car off and unhooked the amp. it was still smoking, i took the panel off of it to look at the board, there were huge burn marks and there was an aluminum piece on the side of the amp that was half melted.(pics later hopefully) i put the amp back together and hooked it up to power and ground to see if the power light would come on. it did so i hooked the sub back up and it wor…

I bought a DE-1000 (notice: not 1000-DE) to power a TC Sounds 10" OEM. I was under the impression that the amp put out 1000 watts at 2ohms, cause that's what the US Amps site lists it at. However, I spoke with Greg at US Amps a few minutes ago and he claimed that it did 700x1@2ohms 1000x1@1ohm. He did not state that the US Amps site was wrong, but just said that's what it did. The US Amps site lists the DE-1000 stable down to 1.5 ohms. It rates it for 1000x1@2ohms. According to Amp Guts, the 1000-DE is rated at 700x1@2 ohms, and 1000x1@1 ohm. So what does it really put out? Was Greg simply confused between the two? (I did call back and ask him about the 1000-DE vs. the D…

ok ive decide to go with the merlin series d class .its either the md.1d or the md.2d, i here the 1d is overrated and then that it will do exactley what it says it will, then the md.d2 i aint ever heard its under rated .. i heard it could do about 1800 watts @ 1 ohm.how big of a difference are they,is the md.d2 worth several hundered more?,ithan i noticed on here it says the md d1,2 and three all have 30 amp x 3 fuses, that aint true is it?hows it gonna give more power without more amps coming in,the effiencey should be the same since there same series and class
