I have two of the 2004 model MD2D amps and was wondering if they were strappable or if it was a god idea to do so? I'm planning on running them on two Orion H2 15's with dual 4 ohm coils. Would i be safer to just run each amp to a single sub?

Hi, I'm from Germany and I have bought an US Amps Merlin MD-23 Amp on Ebay earlier this year. I never opened it because I didn't have time to work on my car. Today I finally wanted to look inside my new Amp and I was shocked. On the Packaging Box and the Chassis it says MD-23 but on the Board it says MD-22. So I guess I was deceived by the Ebay seller. But I wanted to be sure, so is there any attribute that could tell for sure which Amp I do have here? I'm looking forward to any reply you can give me =) Greets Eric

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the MD-3; is it worth the money? And if so would it be a good match with a 15 fi btl?

Hey I have a US Amps MD2D that the remote wire screw on it happened to break off in the hole that you screw it into. I was wondering how would I go about replacing the power ground remote block for it and how much that would cost. The amp was bought from an authorized seller at the time around 2 and 1/2 years ago. Its a 2005/6 model.

Hi guys, recently i bought some new RE Audio and USAmps equipments: 4x RE Audio 6.5CompSet, 4x RE Audio SX12" dual 4ohm, 2x MD-21 and 2x MD-3D here's a link http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/468403.html Now I have a question about the MLT function it's says in the owners manual that the Impedance should be between 4-8ohms, I thought that the final ohm will be 2ohm since each amp will be wired to 1ohm (2 RE SX on each MD-3D), now I'm confuse what power do I get if I wired them as the owners manual shows 4ohms I wont get the full 4000wrms between the two right? because it's not wired down to 2ohms. can anybody help me out here? and the other question is about the M…

Both Mrd-m1005 (alpine) and Usa 2000x produce 1000W as I have the Usa running on one channel (time being). However, the Usa blows the Alpine out of the water. I am also getting less dimming then I did with the Digital amp which seems ass backwards to me. Can anyone shed some light so I can understand this more? Thanks Btw, I love this amp!

  15. I have always regretted selling my 2 US amps T700's and when I got the chance to buy a 400x & 600x I took it....I havnt got them yet but I was wanting to run them like so... 400x bridged and running a JL Audio 10inch..model # unknown...its in a wedge box they made as a unit I think.... 600x running 4 coaxials for a 2ohm load.... or should I swap them around? I dont want the sub to overpower the entire system...and I dont want to add another amp either... what you guys think? these are still good amps made in USA I hope .......I know US AMPS has undergone many changes....

To anybody that uses the Merlins.I am upgrading my electrical to meet the demands of all my amps( 5 Amplifiers) Three amps are the PhoenixGold Ti Series (2 600's Ti and 1 400 Ti) Two US Amps MD3D 07 Models.I can not give you the exact wattage but both amps and subs are connected at three ohm on a JL Audio 13w7. All the amps that I have are unregulated power supply and need alot of juice including the two merlins md3d amps. On the merlins the amp load is 480 in my car adding another 220 plus that is a total of 660 .I had one high output at 220 240 maybe hot. That was not enough so I am adding two more alternators that put out at least 400 to 440 amps.Beside some for t…

Hello I'm new to this forum. I have a few questions that I would like for someone to answer for me. I have the like the title states a US Merlin MD22. Now every where i have read says it do the following specs Power: 200wx2 @ 4 310wx2 @ 2 650wx1 @ 4. And on the box it says 257 @ 4 ohms and 352 @ 2 ohms. So I want to know the truth, whats the deal? The first thing i noticed is the fuse rating (3) 25 amps, now i know that if a amp has a 60 amp fuse. It will do somewhere from 650 to 750 watts. And the second thing I noticed was the power and ground connectors. Now I know it takes like a 4gauge wire. And the thrid things is that it is made in the U.S.A. so I know that its …

I think the information on this amp(USA-800)is interesting for those browsing this forum and I'm checking to see if there is enough interest to warrant selling it. The following is a portion of the ad from when I purchased the amp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's one I'd be tickled pink to find under my Christmas tree...one of the original 50 US AMPS USA-800!! Hey guys ive had an AX4300 for about a year now and one of my channels doesn't work properly. It seems that the rear right channel will give a very scratchy sound like the speaker is blown. i went back and checked the RCAs and they were plugged in fine. if i jiggled the rca or pushed it in harder it would clear up for a while but then the sound comes back. What is going on and how can i fix it!!?! Thank you

  25. I bought a DE-1000 (notice: not 1000-DE) to power a TC Sounds 10" OEM. I was under the impression that the amp put out 1000 watts at 2ohms, cause that's what the US Amps site lists it at. However, I spoke with Greg at US Amps a few minutes ago and he claimed that it did 700x1@2ohms 1000x1@1ohm. He did not state that the US Amps site was wrong, but just said that's what it did. The US Amps site lists the DE-1000 stable down to 1.5 ohms. It rates it for 1000x1@2ohms. According to Amp Guts, the 1000-DE is rated at 700x1@2 ohms, and 1000x1@1 ohm. So what does it really put out? Was Greg simply confused between the two? (I did call back and ask him about the 1000-DE vs. the D…
