Hey guys... I have the U.S.Amps 4360 tube amp, and have had nothing but problems with it. The channels keep distorting, and cutting out. This may be because of my custom mount, not just the amp. I have it mounted next to 2 Memphis LVS 15's and mounted sideways I would like to try something else, maybe the 4300X. What would you recommend I try? If I went for something like the IS line would that be moving WAY down? or would something like the 4300X suit me better? I have never had another amp other than the 4360, so the tube is ll I have heard. Flakko can you contact me in some way for prices? thanks~!

Does anyone here speak to Flakko/Jeremy on a regular basis? I've been trying to follow up (leaving voicemails and PM's) about my MD2D that I sent in back in May '07 but received a pretty bad conditioned amp in return, so I want to see where the DHL claim is at. Sorry for airring out some of the details but I'm pretty upset at how long this is taking and would like to see if there's a more direct way to contact him other than his cell. If anyone can give me some info or point me in the right direction, please do. Thanks, Steve

I have an i/s 4065 and am debating whether or not to run this for my Z6 comps. It would have to be bridged and that would be at 3ohms...is this possible for the 4ohm stable amp or a definite no-go? Thanks

Hey guys I'm in a tough situation needed some advice. I'm changing my sub stage in my Nissan Titan Crew Cab to possibly (2) RE SRs 10's sealed. I currently have a Elemental Designs 9.2x. I was thinking of going with the MD2D or a Diamond Audio 1200.1 in place of my 9.2x but I spoke with Us amps tech support yesterday and they are rude as f@#k. One guy did not want to answer my question and they other guy kept sending me to the website for answers. So for you guys who have expirence with US amps what do you think of customers support and your product. I'm not a basshead by any means maybe more of an LOUD SOUND QUALITY guy but I like stuff that most people in my area will …

Well, it was just me and Mr. Casey Walsh I thought it was a fun little time. Walked through the factory, there wasnt much production actually, just one guy in the back soldering, and dirk in his lab workin it because the CES stuff was set up in the work room. Ill have pix later on tonight but ill post what i thought was the most informative part of the tour, the interview with JR. This is just the section of the Q&A in which people from the forums asked questions. We talked for a good hour afterwards about different things usamps has been designing, most notably their venture into home audio But that is for another time. the vids might take some time to load, ki…

Hello I purchased this amplifer recently and im after any information you may have on it. US Amps USA 6000. 1 x 6000w RMS Class A/B @ 2 ohms @ 12.6 volts. This amp has been custom modified by Dirk to do about 7000w @ 15volts. The SAT has been disabled to allow 1.5 ohm safe running or lower with a good power supply. It was running happily at 1 ohm in mbh69s car when he had a XA3000D die for ice direct show. This is THE LAST USA-6000 to be produced Specs from USAmps site Two Channel Class AB Amplifier Total Power Output: 6000 Watts RMS 3000 Watts x 2 into 1 Ohms 6000 Watts Bridged into 2 Ohms THD at Rated Power: 0.1% Signal/Noise Ratio: >105dBA Frequency Response: 5Hz-50…

Just out of pure curiosity, why did the old amps have all the funky colors? Any real reason, or just because?

okay this will be the official USAmps picture thread.... you got some pictures? post em here is some news: * New and improved AX Line * Unveiling of a 6 ft. long amplifier (note: upon further questioning, this "amp" at the show is just a giant heat sink, showing the possibility of the Multiple link technology. this is NOT an actual amplifier, just a chassis) Larry, you were right. * Brand new Xterminator Line to replace the IS * USamps drivers and comp sets (TB released in the future) thats all i could think of so far. im going to get some in depth info tomorrow. pix from Djjdap courtesy of 95stroked1500: the new Xterminator line to replace the I/S WOOT! HMMM usamps…

Funny, as I am waiting for my USA-600x to arive, I had to put an Old Rockford Fosgate Puch 100 DSM in my car. Well early this week I bought a US Amps USA-50 as an amp to run my tweeters in a all active system. I just realized its rated 50 watts X 2 just as the RF 100 is alaso rated 50 X 2. I am going to get some connectors tomorrow to properly attach the wire to the US Amp and swap the two. With the same power rating and similar size, I look forward to seeing which one takes the cake lol On a side note, Can anyone explain why my USA-300x I just got has 2 Power connections and 2 Ground connections? Do I need to wire accordingly? If so that means even more distribut…

Ok so i'm changing the substage again. I also changed jobs. I work for a shop now that sells mostly cadence and RE/US Amps. Mainly RE for subs and cadence for mids and highs. So i'm looking at a system rebuild. Probably XXX comps for my Mids and hi's I only have a front stage. Gonna leave the Sundown SAX100.4 on them for the time being. So heres where it boils down. I'm looking to make some NOISE minimum 150s but be able to blend them into the system as well for daily driving. I'm looking at either 2 SX 10s or possibly 1 XXX or MX 12. My car really doesn't want to handle 2kw daily but we gonna make it work. Getting at least 1 kenetic 2400 probably for the ba…

Now I am not going to point fingers at us amps quality because it is probably me doing something wrong. Anywho, I have a us amps xt1600.4 runnning focal polykevlar 5.25" components. I have the focals in stock door locations with the tweeters mounted on the pillars. The xt1600.4 has a .5 farad cap on it. I have not yet fine tuned the gains because i have not had the chance but they are roughly set. I expected this combo to blow me away, but it is not any better than the old boston component set I had running off the HU. My question is: Could the gains need to be changed, I mean, can that cause distortion? also, I have some sub par rca's from scosche. Could that be it? Last…

wondering what these amps do power wise I know a guy who has one or maybe it was the VL-200. He said 1000watts or 600watts don't remember. Think he wants like $300 for it. for a used old school amp that may or may not last a couple years I figured I'm over it. was thinking it'd be nice to have though. I recently sold my USA50 that never once gave me such as a hiccup of a bad time . not too loud but still. never had a single time where it went into protect on me or anything like that... thinkin it'd be nice if the bigger amp did the same for years of playing...
