Ok guys, I'm just looking for suggestions on tinting my taillights and headlights. I have an 08 Ford Escape and looking for a smoked or dark black look, but I want my brake lights to be decently visible. I'm wondering if you guys recommend any brands for pre-cut tints for head and tail lights. Or if you guys recommend any other ways to tint my lights, i'm open for it. I have been thinking about how I will work on my 98 expedition, and now that I put my deck in i'm getting nervous about theft. I had planned on throwing in speakers, but recent life events really put a crunch on funds and time. im not sure where to post this, but it should work so im looking into buyin a new car (new to me) and i found an awesome deal on a 2002 Mercury Sable. i looked at the stock radio and it looks to have the climate controls embedded into the same panel. anybody have any experience with a sable?? do they make a mounting/install kit for an aftermarket head unit?

hey guys! got some quick questions about struts/strut towers/suspension in a 2000 Avalon XLS. I'll describe the problem first and then tell you what the toyota dealership quoted the problem and solution would be. I have a 2000 Avalon XLS, pretty good condition that I bought from my uncle. 105,000 miles on it and all the options. I've noticed some problems with the suspension though. Some things I've noticed are a "clunking" noise from the rear when I go over bumps, the car kind of "skips" across the road, especially when i am like...merging into traffic at higher speeds on the turn and when it hits a crack in the road while i'm turning, the car feels like it really jumps …

Ive run a very heavy system in my trunk for a while, and it dropped my rear suspension, and raised my front, ruining my acceleration and handling, this summer i plan on doublin the weight of the system. But before i do so, i need a suspension upgrade. at first i looked at an air ride, but i dont have room for the tank. so ive decided on a coilover suspension. The problem is, i have no idea what is a good brand, where to buy, what specs are good or bad. Im also not tryin to spend a ton of money. a quick search on yahoo gave prices from 800 to 1200++++. I have bought a Freeway Blaster for my car. Figured it would be fun to have a little louder horn. Anyway. I cannot for the life of me find the horn under the hood so I can switch it out with the Freeway Blaster. I looked along the walls of the engine compartment, mostly around the battery since I figured thats where it would be. I must be as blind as a bat. Thanks to Xtremekustomz (Other message board) for turning me onto this website. I have to admit I hadn't heard of many of their products other than Mother's and Meguairs when I went there. But I went and got the stuff he recommended to keep the car looking it's best and not causing any swirl marks, scratches, haze, etc during washing, drying and detailing. Well I just finished washing my car today for the first since I got the paint color sanded to remove all the swirl marks, scratches and much of the factory orange peel, with all of the products I ordered. The products left the best finish I have ever had on any car

Well im thinking about lifting my truck (03 z71 avlanche) but i don't really know anything about lifting or where to get stuff to lift it. I just want it to be lifted and look good. Don't really go off roading but i probably will if i get the lift kit. Not sure what kind of lift to do (body lift, etc, etc.) Not sure where to get stuff (which sites sell quality stuff at the best prices or should i buy local) Not sure how big of a lift to get (what would you get?) Also not sure on what tires to get (just want something to look good but also like tires with deep treads, also should i buy online or local) Open to all suggestions and comments.

I purchased a 8,000k HID kit for my truck off of this site this past saturday. I was emailed a tracking number, but it still just says billing information received. I have sent countless emails without reply, and was also a little worried when my invoice number was ~48 or so. Has anyone had any experience or feedback on this site? Currently have a jeep but rarely go four wheeling anymore... My 2door jeep is small, and my substage takes up the whole rear area. So basically any car except a coupe would be an upgrade as far as room and cargo area. I don't really want a trunk car, main reason being it's harder to fit a enclosure in, and have to deal with getting bass into the cabin. My budget is $7000, possibly 8. Looking for 2000 and up. Current vehicles I've been looking at are: Scion xB and Scion tC, and Volvo v70. So basically something with a hatch, room in the rear to fit a nice big sub enclosure (pair of 15s or what not). anyone got any other cars I should look into? thanks EDIT: no honda civics…
