I want to extend an offer over here to the Sundown guys. I've been doing decals over at Meade's forum for a little bit now and thought ya'll might like some of these. They're ridiculously cheap at $1 each (minimum order of two) which mostly just covers my cost of materials, shipping, & PayPal fees. Tell me what you think. Doing final wiring before i get to test out the system. On the manual for a single sub connection, it says to bridge to speaker +, on the speaker -, do i bridge that too? here's what the pic on the manual looks like hope i get the answer soon before the rain comes back thanks

I have 2 sd1v2 10", not sure how to connect the wires on this diagram above. Do I solder, crimp, or something? It shows to hook a wire + to + and -to- but do I have to put two wires in one sub terminal? http://www.jbl.com/car/product_support/Sub...aspx?type=2-4-1

Worked on the car stereo yesterday. To date, I have the Alpine CDA-9884 with the RUX-C701/PXA-H701 processor/ controller combo installed. I ran the main 1/0 power wire from the stock battery in my 06 Toyota Solara. I sealed my sub box and installed the sub. I wanted to hear the sub before I finished the appearance portion of the box. It is a dual 2 ohm VC wired in Parallel for a 1 ohm load. I have not installed a permanent ground point on the chassis so mounted a temporary 4 gauge wire to a seat lug that sees a resistance of 1.4 ohms. Voltage at the Distribution block when the car is running is 14.1 volts. Th ground is very temporary but also very securely fastened. All …

is there any specific way of wiring a Fi Q into 1 ohm? Its the dual 2 ohm. Do I wire to one speaker terminal or both? wiring diagram will help.

hi guys, im using this calculator http://www.caraudio911.com/tutorials/GainSet/voltage.htm to get my gains all set up on my truck, and im getting different numbers. i have 2 sundown saz1500-ds strapped, and 2 d2 fi audio BTL 18s in my s10 can someone help me out on getting these gains where they should be? also i metered it the other day just setting the gain by ear and it did a 146.8 legal. im getting 2 more sundowns down the road, i want to be in the 150 club! thanks for your help in advanced,

Just a sneak peak of whats going on the next few days Just thought I'd share. Was too lazy to take them out to lay it out, but you get the idea. i went to get something to eat earlier and went to play my system that im tryn hard not to use till the season starts and i rolled into a beat really quick,which i shouldnt have,but did,and my amp cut off.its a 1500d and it didnt go into protect just turned off.i turned my head unit off and checked my fuse and it was fine.i turned the hu back on and it came right back on.weird huh.its dark right now so i couldnt check to c if a sub blew or what,but its still hittn hard as heck!!!anybody now what happened?thanks

Just got my 100.4 and I am going to bridge it to run a set of components for now(active later).What is the proper hook up for the RCA's to the amp -the manual doesn't show this.Do I use channel 1 and channel 4 or some other combination. Thanks

ive got a optima yellow top up front a nd two n the back by my box.im fixn to order a 200 amp alternator but was wondering if i need to get a battery isolator.will that help or what.i need some feedback on this.thanks everybody

Hey everyone I'm, having issues right now with my amp. I don't know too much about wiring and etc but my installer says that the amp I have isn't stable at 2ohm's and won't try 1ohm for fear of blowing the amp. It's stable at 4ohms but thats it, so right I have no idea what to do about it. Is the amp just bad? I ordered it almost two months ago but just installed it today and forgot to even see if I had a warranty when purchasing. Also the amp as it is now is pushing two AA havoc 12's in a sealed box and the amp is just rattling BAD. Like real real bad were it's so annoying and loud that everyone can hear it. My channel #2 isn't working on my amp. I get very little sound and it's very distorted. I checked all the RCA and speaker connections on the amp and behind the headunit, I checked the fuses, I tried switching speakers, I tried unhooking my SAE-1000D, I tried switching polarity, nothing worked. Any idea what could be wrong? I took the amp out of the car. Should I look for anything inside the amp?

Hey jacob, i know several people on here are really looking foward to the 250.2 that will be released in near future, but whats the update on the amp and the stage it in before it hits production? I decided to move away from looking into the spl lanes and hit up the sq lanes because trunk cars are pretty hard to get loud and i think this amp will be perfect for powering two subs using an a/b class amp for possibly mounting 2 12's or so IB or possibly sealed. just looking for a few things like what time frame we're looking at for preorders and when it should all be available to public. I have (2)Dual .7ohm DD 9512e's and I need some power.. I need to get 1500rms or close too.. Which Sundown (2)1500 or (1)3000 amp and how should i wire the subs to amps?

how much does a 3000d amp cost from sundown? didnt notice any prices on website or maybe i just missed them...

my right front speaker went silent. Channel one front tweeter still worked so I swtiched speaker two to channel one n it played. I then put speaker one into channel two n it was also silent. All I so far.. Can the channel just be bad?

Hello every budy here @ the sundown forum. i'm Cornelis from Holland and have a saz 3000 in my streetmax 1/2 spl car. whe tested the amp in a couple of cars now. whit good test results. whe tested a bmw coupe E36.from 1994 .whit 2x 12 inch @ 0.5 ohm hitting 146.8 dbs @ 46 hz. and whe tested in a vw caddy from 1996 whit 5x 15 inch @ 0.5 ohm hitting 151.7 dbs @ 38 hz and in my panda streetmax 1/2 whit 1 northstar 90 nsb and 2x 18 inch @ 0.25 ohm @ 67hz whe did a 158.1 whit voltage drop 11.22 volt

It was delivered yesterday to my work. I opened it up today. It. is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Sure, it is used (I bought it from Jacob's resale link.), but in great condition. Comes with the 1 year warranty and the remote gain adjust. I can't wait to incorporate it into the system I am getting ready to install in my car. Jacob was fantastic to deal with. He talked me through a paypal transaction. Just to not sound like a dumbass I had never done that before. He shipped it fast before he left for the CES.
