im thinking of 1 ns12 in a extended cab truck or should i stick with my 2 db plw12d4's. the truck in qusetion is a mazda b2200.subs running off my saz-2000d.

does anyone know the price of the saz 4500 after sales well towards february?

Hello, One of my friend wants something to power his Xcon (in a 3.5ft3 net ported box). He wanted a Sundown 3500 D, but there are some really good deals on some 3000's. Do you think a used(from Sundown) or a refurb(from Db-r) 3000 can give the sub all the power it needs ? I think the 3500 is "better", but more expensive too ! How can they be compared ? AT 2 OHMS ONLY !!! BTW what to you think about used or refurbished amplifier ? I live in a Hot island (30° C all year long) so the ampp must be reliable. I would not like to send any amp back to the USA, shipping is about 200$ !!!

hey i was just wondering, with the proper voltage can the 3000d be strapped at .25ohms? (1/8) ohm each? thank you much

This is a Nightshade w/ cooling and 50mm WW 8-layer coil with a prototype cone we are testing. Coil is Dual-1 configuration. It includes the latest bolted down spider upgrade and utilizes a 3-layer spider. $400 for this prototype, shipped in continental 48 - there is only one like it right now.

Do you still have the sale on the 50.4 ? Can I take it to power my Focal 165KP? It may be cheaper than the 125.2, so I am interested to buy it instead of the 125.2. Recently getting involved with Sundown as a dealer in Florida, I sold my entire JL setup and switched to Sundown amps and subs. Jacob worked hand in hand with finding a good fit for my small BMW 318i. I installed 2 Sundown SA 12" subs on a Sundown 1500 Watt Amp. They are wired to 1ohm and run extremely well. The ported box is tuned to about 34hz, and i am very pleased with how the subs are responding. These subs will blow so many other setups out of the water! I am proud to say more amps will be going into my car and I look forward to selling a quality product! Kevin

Does this sub compare to jl sound quality? I'm looking to replace RF T110's in a sealed box , to something in a 2-12" ported box. I listen to a variety of music( rock, rap, metal, some country, etc) , just trying to find something that sounds good and will get pretty loud and still sound good. Power wise probably going with the RF T1500-1.

I've seen this asked before and I thought I knew ""Best Practices" but then in reading, I discovered there are some things about the PRE inputs on teh Sundowns where they don't like certian ""Higher End" RCA cables... what is the difference on the new heatsink models of the 1500d's and how does it make it better or was it done cause im considering which one to get and i cant seem to find one on db-r that is a new heatsink and am wondering if its worth the wait to get the new heatsink or if the oldones are just as good

Anyone trying to call me my phone IS NOT working at the shop. AT&T is taking their time fixing it... I've had no dial tone since last Tuesday afternoon. I was gone most of the time and was hoping they would fix it but hey have not... have called several times today from my cell with no results yet. Apparently I have to pay outrageous pricing for "commercial grade" service but they have all day to fix my problems.

A power testing thread for the SAZ-1000D. So I will post what I found..... These are NOT official testing results. Stock Alt Yellow Top Under Hood Kinetik 2400 in rear Resting voltage at 13.6 ....... I had just been doing TL testing and batts were dead With 2 L7 15"s wiring to .5ohm I got, 1080 watts with drop to 12.9 and imp rise to 1.8 ohm. I now have two of these little monsters and will be doing some more testing soon

Will both these amps work on 15+ Volts right out of the box? Thanks,

so i just purchased one of the two remaining old heatsink saz-1500d refurbs from chris @ db-r. the shopping experience was great and the price was too good to pass up. i guess im a sundown fan now the hard part is going to be containing my excitement while it gets shipped here to calif.

Okay so I got my build done about 5-6 months ago and wired it up and have been running it at .4-.5 ohms with no issues. All of the sudden last Friday it just cut off, no smoke no obvious burn marks. Just went into protect and would not come back out. I know that running it this low can cause issues and so I just went ahead and sent it off to db-r and they think i fried the drive board or the input. My question is can anyone think of what may have caused this. Is it just because i was running it at the .4-.5 ohm load, or can it be something else that i can fix and prevent this from happening again. My electrical is as followed.
