Hey all, our Finals event was today and boy was there some heated competition. Andrew AKA Andrew2944r had his beautiful truck there. 3 DC LVL 5 18's in a wall, with 3 Sundown SAZ 3K's and 7 Kinetiks with Dual Alts from DC Power. Did a 157.8 at 55Hz...destroying his competition. Another member, Jordan had his Black Neon there with a single SAZ 1500D on 1 DD 9515F doing 149.7's at 59Hz. I myself had my car there, 2 12" Soundstream SPLX 12's on 2 SAZ 3K's...I had radio and electrical problems and crap all day...stumbled and clipped my way to a 148.9 ended up taking my class anyways. Also a local team mate Cody Breedlove had his 98' Pathfinder there with 2 AQ 1200D's strappe…

alright i thought about this and figured it would be alot cheaper and alot more fun to do it this way. I figured everyone that is on team sundown that is going to sbn instead of getting a hotel room we should try to find a big ass vacation home. i have an air mattress and stuff so i dont mind sleeping on the floor and what not. it would also be alot cheaper i think for everyone. im sure we could find a big home we could cram lots of people in and im sure we have enough vehicles that seat enough people that we could caravan people to and from the show. we could leave the wives back at the house and let them all do their own thing since im sure none of them want to be u…

* 149.5 TL Score on the dash, legal * Free air testing after the build We build this sub for a low Fs for a special application to try it out... Fs was 31 Hz after very little break-in so I expect it to settle around 28 Hz or so, dead on with what our goal was. Still did quite well in the Jeep despite being optimized for another application!

So banginAltima & I picked up his new pair of Sundown Audio z15"s yesterday. I feel so priveleged cause I got to test them out in my Explorer 1st. My box is a very basic 6ft net volume. Powered by a single Sundown saz-1500d it burped a 149.5 and hit 148.1 on music playing some Kanye West. We're gonna do some more testing tomorrow and see what they can do at different power levels. No doubt this will easily burp over a 150db on the saz-2000d which will be the perfect amp for a pair of these subs. No doubt I'm underpowering them with the saz-1500d. After a 30 second full tilt run on music they were still cold to the touch and it was 80* here today. There isn't e…
