We are considering offering a trade-in program at Sundown Audio - similar to what HAT is doing but with amplifiers. Who would be interested in that? For example... You currently have, say, a HiFonics BX1206D but want an SAZ-1500D. The SAZ-1500D retails for $799 MSRP and SSA sells it for $570. We would give you credit of $125 for your amp (75% of e-bay price) and you would pay $445 for the SAZ-1500D. The amount of credit would, of course, depend on the condition of your trade and current pricing for that model in the new or used market (depending on how old it is). Any thoughts ?

Got the amp racks made with Andrew. Wrapped in carpet till we ran out.. All wires ran, tucked away, with a battery tray in the wheel well to hold my batteries. 2 SAZ 3000D's 2 18" Nightshades(custom) 3 DEKA Intimidators 1 Maxx-Link 1 Wall tuned to 65Hz Gonna live soon, wall will be installed this week, so more picstures to come. Okay if I've done my math correct, the 3500D (with a 350A fuse), I should be able to power this thing with a 250 amp alternator and (2) D3100's (117 AH each) running at 1 ohm on (2) of the of the Z15's?

So made a design for 4 Sundown audio sa-8 Dual4. I need to figure out the port tuning for the box. Here's a work up of it i made. Its all 3/4 mdf with a double top plate to flush mount the subs. Box size is 39w 12d 16h(16 3/4 with top plate) The port size i was thinking was 6h 8w 7 1/4d

As long as I don't let my voltage drop I should be able to strap them at 1 ohm right ????? what is a 3000d rated at at .5 an ohm has any one ever tested them??? plan on runnning four dd 12's 3500 or 9500 at 1 ohm is it worth it??

So heres what is on my mind. First off i am wondering how to wire a subwoofer down to a one ohm load due to there being two sets of speaker terminals. Maybe a noob question but i cant figure it out. Second and this mite be harder to answer. Will this amplifier overpower a Fi BL15 with with the hyper pole upgrade or would it be able to take the juice without messing anything up? Any elightenment would be appreciated.

Just a quick question. I am on a quest trying to create a small enclosure for my small Jetta trunk and still have usable space. Slot port enclosures take up a lot of room that a standard Aero Port doesn't. Would a single 4" Aero Port tuned to the right length, be enough for two SA-10s in a reccommended specification enclosure powered by a SAX-1200D?

This is my first post in this wonderful forum so please pardon my ignorance. I just got two saz 2500d's and wow what an awesome piece of design. I wanna run these two amps strapped together and Ive seen the diagram for how to hook them up. My only trouble is does one have to gain match the amps? I know that the one amp is the slave to the other and uses the settings from the master amp but no where it says about the gain. Well, work started today on an install into the BMW. This is going to be a DC Audio/Sundown Audio demonstrator over here in the UK. The main thrust of todays work was to get the steel frame into position in the rear of the car, ready for the main woodwork to start going in tomorrow We have now got 5 runs of speaker cable down each side of the car, 2 0AWG ground, 2 x 0AWG power running down to the original chassis ground point and battery terminal. (the car has 1 x 0AWG run down from Alt to Battery as standard, may upgrade this if we fit a bigger alternator to it - 140 in there at the moment!), and 3 x RCA's going to the front.

hi i was looking at buying me a single 10 inch sundown audio sa sub and was wondering would the jl audio 300/2 amp be enough to power the sub without under powering it ?

From all of you who have run an SA-12. How will they run off of 500rms? I heard while they are rated at 600rms they need a little more than that to get moving well. But my car has a small alternator and I think 500rms is about what I can pull off safety. I just worry it wont be enough.

The power clamp reads in kW -- so 0.90, for example, is 900 watts. I kept playing it for 5 or 6 more iterations of the track after the video as I always measure T/S on at least one woofer per run to make sure everything is on track. I've already measured this one once but I've been breaking it in more to measure again

Well after a long time looking/comparing I finally ditched my crossfire vr4000d and bought a Sundown Audio saz-3500d . I needed something that I could run my Tc sounds axis subs that have the RETARDED quad 1.2ohm coils (instead of 1ohm coils) and after reading alot of posts of people running the 3500s below 1ohm and with little to know complaints I had to have one. I hooked it up yesterday to just 1 sub and WOW it was impressive now I just have to build a box for the pair and make a couple of videos.
