Both Brandon and I will be out of town from the 5th to the 14th this month (January 2013) for a business trip that involves CES and several other sub-trips while we are on the west coast. Debbie will still be here on the phones and e-mail to process as many orders as possible (paperwork-wise). We will also still have Thomas in here in the build room and also the rest of our shipping and packing crew will still be here. so im buying two e8s from a friend for 50 dollars but the tinsel leads are messed up. how much to get them fixed? they guy im buying them from talked to jacob and he said he would do for free just to pay for shipping but i was wondering if i could get a quote. idk if you guys are still going to cover them after so long of them not being fixed.

Do you think I will need to upgrade my alternator? I have an 2006 Scion xB with a stock battery up front. I have a Kinetik 600 in back and a 3 farad cap. That feeds one sundown 1500. Also have big 3 done. I am probably going to upgrade wiring again and do two runs of 0 gauge from front to back battery and just do 0 to cap and amp. I am also looking into uprading stock battery to a kinetik also. Should I just do all of this and alternator at same time and say screw it. That way I know I have enough juice if I wanna ever upgrade to a second 1500 and second sub.

Hey guys, bout to order a SAZ-1500d and a SAX-125.2 and I have a 12inch Nightshade on the way. I'm also gonna put a Kinetic HC1800 in the trunk. I'm gonna order a dual amp kit from KnuKoncepts. My question simply is whats the best amp kit for these amps? I guess it would be more of a question about what size I need. I just want to do it up as nice as possible. KnuKoncepts looked good, but I'm also open to recommendations of other wiring brands. I also want to do the Big 3. What exactly would I need for that? I read somewhere that the little saz 1000 d was discontinued. Is it true ? A friend of mine needs one more for his instal. Can he still buy one? He may not be ready to do so, but he really needs it. He already has 2 of them strapped running a 15" xcon, and he needs one more to strapp with his 3rd saz 1000 (that he bought from me !! ) He is building a demo car with 4 saz 1000, 2 15" xcons, and a lot of speakers in the front doors. He needs a 2nd JBL Crown (bpx 600.4) amp for his mids and highs. Everything will go in a small 2 doors Renault Clio. I will make a build log, of course !

I live in ct. and am willing to help others set up thier amps and head units with my o-scope. it makes a difference knowing exactaly when you have distortion or clipping. if i can save even 1 good sub from death it will be worth it. i dont have alot of time on my hands but will help when i can.

Hi, i thought of trying some stuff from sundown audio. I need two setups: 1) The first one is for my girlfriends car and i thought of using 2 e8's powered by one saz 1000d, wired to 2 ohms is 300 watts per woofer... 2) Second is perhabs for me... I have one BTL 15'' right now powered by one RFt2000bd... But this lil beast takes too much space in my trunk... If i use 4 e8's on the t2000k strapped down to 1 ohm thats 500 per woofer, is that too much?? or should i better use 1 nightshade 12''?? Or more e8's? I don't want to go bigger than 2.5 - MAX 3 cubes after port replacement...! I hope you guys understand my bad language and can help me buying equipment from Sundown. I'…

I hope this isn't a stupid question. A friend of mine has the SAE-1000D and wants to run it at 2 ohms to power his pair of JL Audio W3v3 13.5s with 600 watts until he has the money to get the electrical upgrades he needs for his car. He bought the amp so he could expand his system when ready. Right now he has a Batcap 800. He eventually wants to get a bigger alternator and 2 good drycell batteries in place of the Batcap and a 2nd SAE-1000D and 2 Icon 15s, but for the time being just wants to use his JLs. How should he treat his gain for the JLs being the amp is going to be ran at 2ohms rather than the amps max at 1ohms?

Was wondering why the 3500d isn't available in the SSA store anymore? I checked before I bought mine alittle over a week ago and it wasn't listed? I didn't see anything about them being discontinued.

I have a 100.4 and mli 65 and SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC tweeters. What is a good starting point for my cross over settings. Thanks in advance

How much power would I get if I Bridged a SAX-100.4 @ 8ohms? Does the SAX-100.4 have Sanken Bi-Polar output devices?

ok, so I'm working on my front stage right now. However, I have a Z 15" V2 and a 2000D and was originally going to add a second amp and subwoofer and wall it off behind the rear seats in my scion. BUT with the recent publicity/impressiveness (is that even a word?) of the SA series, I was thinking 4 12" SA series off of a 2500D (giving them each their rated rms) would be a better option. So, it would be a little less power but a ton more cone area. what say you? think it would be louder?

Hello. What would you recommend to cabinet volume and Vents for two Nightshade 12 inches subwofers? driving them with a Sundown saz-3500d at 2ohm and racing .5 ohms. I would like to have a spl box that plays as high as possible but with Vents Can I change when I play on a daily basis. What is the fusing of the SAZ-1000D? What is the power inputs? I have seen 3 different specs on three different sites!!! I just want the truth!!!!!

i got my SAZ-1500 today! woot! just waiting on my box from Audibel Customs to ship here, and later this week ill order my bl 15 and 1/0 wire. this amp looks amazing, and is the heaviest amp i have; the most powerful one by far. cant wait to hear it!

i just a new temporary amp because i blew my old one. Works great but the only problem is i have to unplug it and re plug it in to turn it on every time i start my car. It's very annoying and i don't know where to start or what to look for. Anyone have any suggestions?? its a pyramid cheap amp so that might be the problem as well

I understand that the specs on this amp state 160x2 @ 4 ohm bridged and they are underrated. I was just wondering what these amps normally put out at 2 channels @ 4 ohm bridged.

Hey guys, We are back-logged for a bit on woofer building here. The Z v.2 shipment landed last week and we have been SLAMMED ever since. We also sold the last stack of BM 10s to a customer and have been working to get those out to him. So... expect a bit longer lead time to get a sub if you order one we have to build. I plan to work late this week to catch up as fast as possible.
