I've been kinda rethinking the whole larger setup that I had planned. Would a SAX-100.4 be suited to two AQ SD2.5-15s in a horn? AudioQue SD2.5 series The subs are D4. I'm still waiting on a shipping quote from AQ..

How mcuh do they go for? they seam really bad ass. im trying to compare these to the 8" kicker l7's. thanks.

Minimal break-in time... just a few minutes on the bench: RE (Series): 4.33 ohms Fs: 30.3 Hz Qes: 0.519 Qms: 7.250 Qts: 0.484 Le: 4.743 mH Vas: 29.077 L BL: 22.168 NA Cms: 89.22 uM/N Mms: 308 g Took a few minute break from shipping 4500s and measured these bad boys... I expect Fs to drop to 25 Hz or so with full break-in... which will take probably a week or so of play on these.

Ok I have a saz1500d and a ns v.1 12 inch sub. Box is currently 1.45 cubes after sub displacement and current port. Port is a single 4inch aeroport which is as long as can be without touching sub, don't remember actual length, however, I do know I punched it into the port calculator on 12volt.com and it was 38.3 hz roughly. I want to bring it down to about 32-34hz. My question is would it make a big difference if I used a 3inch port with my flared ends of my 4inch aeroport? Or should I just go with two 2 inch aeroports. I would like to use what I have currently but wanted some answers to this question. Second question, should I just keep what I have since its a hig…

Well you will be able to get one again soon. We made a special run of SAZ-1000Ds just for WoofersEtc.com that is due in about two weeks. Many people are looking for mates to their 1000Ds and this will be another, and the final chance to get one! This will likely be a one-time deal for a final run on these amps. I'll get more information up on pricing and whatnot once they actually arrive here at our facility.

hi all i have a sax 100.4 and a saz1500d ... i want to change my install a bit ... do something a bit more visually appealing now in the pics below ud see one of the amps " floating " in the center ... i want to do a symmetrical pair like that the lower board will have a small fan and it will have gaps in the board exposing the heatsink a bit so now my questions 1 : has anyone ever installed their sundown amps in an area with minimal ventilation and did it have any issues ? 2 : do you think the setup will have adequate cooling ? 3 : what improvements do u think i can make?
